Maya's POV

We finally get to school and were late for history class. I hate history. It's so boring, and my teacher happens to be Riley's dad. Mr. Mathews. "Your late again miss Hart." He says. "Well I'm not the only one." I reply as Farkle and Riley follow behind me to there seats. I don't understand why I have to be the one who gets the comment. Why couldn't he have said that to Riley or Fakle? Oh well. "Back to the lesson, so in 1940 bla bla bla...." Mr. Mathews started. I pretended like I wasn't listening, but I really was. Well kind of... I think he said something about World War 2. "And that's all for today." He finished. Finally! Riley, Farkle, Lucas and I all go to the cafeteria and get lunch. I sit down at the table with them and we all eat. "So...." Farkle says. "Yeah..." Riley continues. "Well this was fun I'm going to class." I say sarcastically. I walk out of the cafeteria and into math class.

----------- A few hours later---------
Finally school is over for the week! It's Friday. My favorite day of the week. "Hey Riley?" I say. "Yeah?" She replies. "Do you want to check out that new shop on Main Street?" I ask. "Maya, you know we're not aloud to go anywhere near Main Street! And besides it takes an hour to get there, and when we finally arrive we would have to come home so we won't be past our curfew." She says concerned. "Eh, an hour past our curfew won't hurt." I reassure her. "I don't know...." She says thinking about it. "Come on aren't you tired of the same thing everyday? Seriously everyday!" I say frustratedly. "Oh, ok!" She says in a defeated tone. With that we left on the subway.
