Maya's POV

I woke up this morning staring at the clock. "Six forty five already!" I said to myself. I had to be at Riley's by seven because that's are daily routine. I wake up at six forty five, pick up Riley, be rebellious at school. Same old routine. I throw on whatever outfit I could find and head out the door. On my way to pick up Riley I see Farkle. "Hello lady." He says as always. "Hey Farkle." I say in return. "Whatcha up to now?" He asks. "Picking up Riley." I answer. "Can I come with?" He asks even though we typically always run into each other and have the same conversation. "Sure whatever let's just go!" I say sarcastically. We walk up to the callbox in Riley's apartment. "Maya." I speak into it. "Farkle." Farkle does the same. "Come on up!" I hear Riley's voice call from it. We walk up the stairs and open the door to Riley. "Hello friends!" She says in her excited voice. Still same routine. "Anything new?" I ask her hoping for a different answer than what it always is. "No, not really. Why?" She asks. That's the exact answer I always get. "Because I'm tired of this!" I admit. "Tired of what?" She sounds clueless. "Of this same old routine!" I answer. "Then let's do something different." She implies. "Yeah? Like what?" I question expecting a lame answer. "We could...Um.." She says looking at the subway. "Take the subway to the park." Riley says proudly. "The park? Riles our teacher is your father and he would notice were gone in a second."I reply. Riles is my nickname for her. "I know." She says trying not to sound disappointed. "Let's just go we can talk about this later!" I say probably meaner then I meant it to be.
