I have always wanted to have a cat but my parents keep telling me no. But that changed when Jade and I rescued Alfie.

It was a great day.

Flashback.

Jade and I were coming home from the supermarket which wasn't far from home when we heard a meow near the trashcans.

"Did you hear that?"I asked her while she shook her head.

"Meow"

"I think there's a cat here....."

I didn't even finish what I was saying when Jade lifted one of the trash bags and under it was a tiny kitten.

It looked tiny and dirty.

"Ya Allah"

I slowly crouched down to pick him up. All I could see was it was scared and hissing at us.

"Let's get you home and cleaned up then we will feed you", we then walked into the house.

Flashback.

Diary,

Yeah, I know that this is my diary but introductions are a must, right?

Today Jade and I found a small male cat that was covered in dirt. I prayed that Mamma and Dad would let us keep him.

Well.....me, not Jade.

I always wanted a cat but Mamma kept thinking of Uncle Naeem when he visits.

Let me explain.

Mamma and Uncle Naeem are twins even though Uncle Naeem is allergic to cats. Alfie is so adorable and cuddly too.

I let Jade talk them into letting me keep him after bathing him and feeding him. He was barely two months old.

It turns out that my sister is good at negotiations but bad at helping me out of doing double the chores just because of Alfie.

Anyways I am not going to argue with her. Plus I should be thankful to her for helping me keep Alfie.

So thank you, Jay.

Anyways time for me to go and take care of my chores plus Alfie needs food.
