I walked out dressed and Seth said, "You look hot."

       I smiled at him and said, "Thanks."
     Then Mom asked, "Riles picked outfit? Or is this one a Josh picked outfit?"
      I said, "Riles. Josh and I are playing the long game. Remember?"
       She said, "Oh yeah."
      Leah asked, "Who's Josh?"
       I saw Leah, Emily, Claire and Kim were looking at me expectantly. I sighed and said, "He's ... Complicated."
       Kim asked, "Do you have a picture of this Josh?"
       I pulled out my phone and showed them a picture Riley made me of Josh and me.

Emily, Claire, Leah and Kim all said, "He's cute."
      I said, "He's also 3 years older than me."
      Then my phone rung and it was Josh. I took a deep breath and answered.

Josh: Hey Ferret.

Me: Hey Uncle Boing.

Josh: *laughs softly* How's Washington? Also Riles told me.

Me: It's okay.

Josh: We still on for movies as soon as you get back?

Me: I ... I have to go Josh, but I'll talk to you later.

Josh: Oh... Okay. Be safe.

Me: Always.

Then we hung up and I looked at Seth, Embry, Jacob, Leah, Sam, Emily, Quill, Claire, Mom, Billy and Paul before I looked straight at Billy and asked, "Am I ever going to be able to go back?"
       Billy sighed and said, "I'm sorry, but as long as you're phasing then you can't leave."
      I looked at Mom and asked, "But what about Riley and Farkle? We were supposed to be starting our sophomore year together. We've been best friends since we were five. No scratch that. We've been family since we were 5."
      Mom said, "Everything will work out, baby girl. You have friends here."
       I said, "Exactly. They're friends. Riley, Farkle, Lucas, Zay, Mr Matthews, Topanga, Ava, Auggie and even Shawn are my family. I want to go home."
        Paul said, "I'll drive you to the airport."
       I glared at him and asked, "Aren't you late for an appointment with the vet?"
       Then I rolled my eyes at him and  looked at Mom before she said, "Maybe they can visit us."
       I sighed and said, "Yeah. Maybe."
      Then I walked away before I just walked.
- 20 Minutes Later -
I found myself on the beach. I sat on the sand and just looked at the ocean silently. Then slowly Seth, Embry, Jacob, Leah, Sam, Emily, Quill, Claire, Mom, Billy and even Paul joined me and sat with me silently.
