I started running and just ran and then suddenly something threw me into a tree. I stood up and saw 7 people with pale skin and golden eyes. I phased back human fully clothed and I looked at them with my head cocked before Sam yelled, "MAYA! GET BACK HERE! NOW!"

     I looked over my shoulder and saw Sam and the other guys as humans in cut off shorts standing in a line. I raised my eyebrow and asked, "Why? Give me one good reason why."

     One of the pale people, the blonde female, said, "Because we should kill you now for being on our land."

     I asked, "Your land? What the hell? What do you mean?"

     Then I smelled something that smelled like bleach. I looked around and a hand touched my back and I asked, "What is that smell? Why does it smell like bleach?"

     I turned around to come face to face with a bronze haired woman who's very pale. She said, "She's not like the others. My name is Esme. That's my husband Carlisle and our children Alice, Jasper, Rosalie, Emmett and Edward. What's your name, dear?"

     I said, "Maya. Maya Hart."

     She said, "It's nice to meet you."

      I looked over at Sam when he called my name again and I said, "I better go before he freaks out."

      I gave her my phone and she put her and all her kids numbers in it. I smiled at her before I walked over to Sam, Jared, Paul, Quill, Embry and Jacob. I looked at them and asked, "What?"

     Sam asked, "Are you okay? You hit the tree pretty hard."

     I nodded and said, "Let's go back."

      They nodded and we went back to Billy's house as humans. Jared, Quill and Embry asked me lots of questions and Sam asked me questions here and there, but Paul and Jacob never talked once. I asked lots of questions about being a wolf and about their lives. Jacob and Paul would glare when I would talk to them. I saw a snake about to bite Jacob and I did the first thing I could think of. I pushed him out of the way and got bit instead. He turned around to yell at me, but I passed out before he could.
