- 8 Hours Later –

We made it to Billy's house finally due to us flying instead of us driving there. I looked around at the room that was supposed to be mine for the time being. It was light brown almost tan with dark brown baseboards and dressers. I walked into the bathroom that Jacob and I share and looked around. The walls were white and blue with white and blue tiles on the floor and the shower wall. I went into the kitchen to see a wooden island in the middle of the kitchen and my mom was cooking dinner for us while Billy and Jacob watched the game. I rolled my eyes and helped my mom make dinner. We made meatloaf, mashed potatoes, green beans and rolls. While we were cooking, I turned on the radio and Mom and I danced around and sung along with the music. Billy said, "Maya, come here please."

     I walked into the living room to see 5 guys and 4 girls there. I said, "Hi?"

     Billy said, "Maya meet Sam Uley and his fiancée Emily Young. Sam is the Alpha of the pack until you feel ready to take over. Then there's Jared Cameron and his girlfriend Kimberly Johnson. Quill Atera and his girlfriend Claire Young, who's Emily's cousin on her dad's side. Embry Call and Paul Lahote and Leah Clearwater who's Jacob's girlfriend. All the girls are what we call imprints which are soulmates. I'm sure Sam will explain more about that later."

     I waved at them all and kept my eyes on Billy. I heard a scoff and heard one of the guys say, "You're right Jake. She is a bitch. She can't even look at us."

     I stayed silent and then I shook my head and went back to the kitchen to help my mother. We finished making dinner and then everyone joined us for dinner. The guys and I all ate 2nds. I stayed silent the whole time and Mom looked at me before she asked, "Are you okay, baby girl?"

     I looked at her and asked, "When are we going back to New York? Also can we stay there?"

     She was going to say something until Billy said, "Since you're a wolf now, you have to stay on the reservation."

     I looked at him and said, "You never told me that before we left. You should have told me that before we got here."

     He said, "If I did, then you wouldn't have come."

     I said, "You're damn right I wouldn't have come."

     Then my phone rung and it was Riley.
