~Freya's POV~

"So," Lola asks "how are things between you and Lord Ozera?" I'm outside with Mary, Kenna--the king's new whore, her ladies, and the twins.

"Amazing" I smile, looking down at my daughter who I am feeding "I am thinking" look up to them "about maybe kissing him" the girls squeal.

"Will you two" Mary asks "possibly be getting married?"

"I don't know" fixing my dress when Andrea is done drinking my milk, then a nanny burps my daughter "oh, did you know that Count Vincent will be joining us?" I remembered meeting Count Vincent a couple years ago and his son, his son was friends with Andre.

"Yes" Mary nodded his head "weren't you and his son friends?"

"That was Andre" correcting "but the Count and his son are amazing people"

"Back to Lord Ozera" Greer changed the subject again "he is very into you and-here he comes"

"What?" Looking over I see Aleksander come over.

"Your Magesty" Aleksander looks at Mary "Freya" he smiles to me and I smile back "I came to let you know that I will be gone for the next few days"

"Are you going on the hunting trip with the king?" Kenna asked

"Yes" nodding his head "my uncle will stay behind as my cousin and I go"

~Time Skip~

"It's going to be okay" I hold Andrea as I sit down, my twins are sitting with me on the couch as the castle is under siege by Count Vincent.

There is a knock at the door and in comes Count Vincent, I hold my children closer "I am truly sorry princess" Count Vincent says "you were never meant to be part of this"

"Will you let us go?" I ask

"I'm afraid" he comes closer "I can't allow you to do that" I look at him in fear, he stops in his tracks before leaving. I set Andrea in her bassinet, there are some screams outside my door and I motion my kids to hide and stay quiet as I grab a fire-poker.

Going to the door, I open it to see Marcus with red eyes and the human he was holding dead and the other guards heads ripped off. Marcus looks my way and wipes the blood off his chin "Princess" he comes closer and I hold the poker up ready to attack if it means my children will be safe "I will not harm you" he takes the poker and steps into my room closing the door.

"What are you?" I ask

He is silent "I am a vampire" I fall over and cold hands catch me when darkness consumes me. After some time I wake up in my bed, looking around I see the twins playing with Marcus "do not be frightened princess, for I will not harm you"

"My children?"

"I do not harm children" he looks my way "Aleksander will tell you more in a few moments, but know that you and your children are perfectly safe" my door bangs open and I see Aleksander and Demetri here, when Aleksander looks at me he runs to me at inhuman speed and presses his lips to mine.

"Eww!" Pulling back, I look to see my kids looking at us.

"Take the children" Aleksander orders "and leave"

"You can't turn her yet" Marcus comes over as Demetri takes my children out of the room, well not Andrea since she's sleeping and you never wake a sleeping baby.

"I know" Aleksander growls, Marcus leaves us then and I look into Aleksander's worried eyes "La mia regina" moving my hair from my face "those men never should have been near you or our children"

"Our?" I ask, when I go to push him away he keeps his grip firmly on me.

"You" his arm around my waist tightens, his hand on my cheek making me look at him "are mine, your children are my children" his eyes dangerously black "if I had it my way, you would be with me and not here"

"Why?"

Aleksander is silent before saying "you are my soulmate" when he says that, there is this happiness that bubbles in me that I bring him down for a kiss.
