~Dayana's POV~

"What if they don't like me?" I ask James, it has been a few months since my 'death' and I saw my family. They were devastated, I wish I could be there for Daphne since she's having her first child. I knew I was never meant to have kids, but a supportive and loving aunt I could be. I was turned into a vampire like my mate and his family, I'm just glad I got to do one thing with my entire family present before leaving. But now...I'm honesty really fucking scared right now since I'm meeting the kings of the vampire world.

"Don't worry" James takes my face in his hands "they will love you, you've met my grandfather—also my mother and father approve of you and they are known as the Prince of Darkness and Princess of Terror"

"Right" nodding my head "your mother who is the Princess Freya Stuart, twin sister to Queen Mary Stuart"

"La mia bellezza" my beauty James has been teaching me Italian since it's mostly spoken here in Volterra but also English from time to time "the only one you should concern yourself with is my Uncle Caius, Aro is a power hungry king who you must never give your hand to"

"Why?" I ask

"He can see every thought you've ever had through one touch" James explains, my eyes widen "he's also like I said power hungry, now" holding his arm out that I take it "let us go inside"

As we head inside, I see three people on three thrones. Marcus, an angry looking blonde—Caius, James told me he normally looks angry—and finally a rat like looking man, Aro. "Ah!" Aro stands "you must be Dayana!"

"Your majesties" I curtsy

"My dear" Caius waved his hand "no need for that, you are family"

Aro comes down towards me, but James stands between us "now boy" Aro says "I merely wish"

"Touch a hair on my new daughter's head" Aleksander, Jame's mother's mate and his adoptive father comes over "and I will find Sulpacia and dismember her again"

Aro is silent as he nods his head and goes to his throne "show Dayana everywhere"

"Come my dear" Princess Freya takes my arm "time to show you to the family, though do be warned—you are the closest in age to the twins so they will want to spend some time with you before allowing you to meet with the others"

"Twins?" I ask

"Jane and Alec" she tells me "Caius's adoptive children with his mate Athenadora" patting my arm "we shall also meet the queens later"

"I can't believe your the Princess Freya Stuart" I say "my sister Eloise as you know is a huge fan of you, how you and your sister were independent and stood up for one another. That you put others above yourself"

She smiles "I know my dear, thank you for the kind words"

"Did I just make an enemy out of his Magesty King Aro?" I ask

She scoffs "he is merely a child playing king" we stop and she looks at me "never think Aro is worth anything, he is no king. Remember that"
