May yawned as she woke up. Looking around, she noticed Mike and Warren weren't in the teacher dorm, since she couldn't hear either of them. Going downstairs, she looked around. "Dad? Papa?"

Nobody answered. She went to the elevator, going down to the ground floor, where she saw what was going on.

"If you don't stop with this behavior, you will be expelled." Warren said, angrily. 

Jackson stepped back. "Y-Yessir, sorry sir, it won't happen again!"

Warren turned away. "It better not."

Zack poked his head out from the kitchen. "Hey, breakfastis ready, go get May."

"I'm here," May said. 

Warren picked her up. "Hey, little one, how was your night?"

May mumbled something and curled up in his arms, falling back asleep.

Zack smirked. "She's also a night person."

Warren nodded. "It hasn't even been that long. She's already picking up that habit of mine."

Shade came down the stairs, going straight to the kitchen to grab breakfast for himself and his siblings, then went back up.

Sighing, Warren adjusted his hold on May so he was carrying her in his scarf, going back to the kitchen to cook breakfast for Zack and himself.

"Uh... Mike? There's a kid from the tech course outside asking for you."

Warren quickly finished up the breakfast, then went out to see Atachaka Stormweaver. 

"Hi, I have Shade's scarf fixed. Could you get it to him please?"

Warren nodded and took the scarf. "Is that all?"

Atachaka nodded. 

"Alright, thank you." Warren went back inside and out the scarf on the table in the common room. 

Soon, everyone had eaten their fill of food except for May, who was still asleep. Warren looked at the teaching plans, pulling Zack over.

"So, today will be combined with General Studies in the library for the students to find some boooks on how they can train their magic. Enyanaida and Shade have asked to spar, so they will have the sparring room. Jackson's request to train in field five was not accepted, as the technology course was going to be making all terrain vehicles, so he will be relocated to field two. After an hour, the class will meet up, and we will go to field ten, where I will spar individually with each of them, you will watch and make sure nobody gets hurt. After the individual sparring, we will go to the lunch room. Shade and Harold have requested to bring their siblings although they didn't need to request, those requests were of course accepted. After lunch, you will be teaching them science and first aid. Does that sound good?"

Zack nodded. "Yeah. What about May?"

Warren thought for a minute. "You can keep her entertained during my class, and I'll teach her during your class."

"Okay."

After the conversation, Warren led the students to the study hall room, where the general studies students were. May was finally waking up, so he gave her her breakfast. 

Zack came over. "Mike, when do we tell her?"

"Tonight, after school."

Zack nodded. "I'm going to find a book." Taking a book on voice pitch changes, he started reading on how he could modify more than his volume of his voice. May had finished her eggs and bacon, so Warren had her on his shoulders, looking in the kids' section for a book for her.

"Pick a book you want."

May, who had managed to omewhat figure out the alphabet, sounded out the words on the covers of the books. She eventually picked one called "Pixie Heart".

"Are you sure? It's a little advanced."

May nodded.

Warren got the book and sat on a sofa, setting May down next to him. He helped her read the harder words in the book.

When they had finished the first half of the book, the hour was up. Warren looked up as the bell rang for them to leave. Stretching, he put a bookmark in the book and set it in a basket marked "Class 1-A reserved books". Soon, everyone had put their books away, so Warren went to the nearest window. "Field ten, five minutes. Willow, get Jackson from field two. Go." Jumping, he took May and landed softly. May giggled. "That's fun."

Warren gave a small smile as he ran between the branches of the trees. "Yeah. The first time I did it, it took my breath away from the excitement."

May nodded.

"I broke my hand though. Landed wrong."

May grimaced. "That sounds like it hurt."

Warren nodded. "It did. Angelina was pretty angry, too. Said I was too reckless."

May giggled. "Was she the nurse?"

"She still is."

May shifted in his hold to look where they were going. They got to the field to find Shade and Willow already there. Warren looked up to see Felix being carried by three large birds. They dropped him when he was about ten feet off the ground, much to his dismay, but he landed without injuring himself due to practice. Warren looked towards the crowd of other students.

"Boo!"

Warren jumped and wrapped his scarf quickly around the person behind him, spinning to kick them. When the person dropped, he realized who it was a moment too late.

"You're so meeeaaannn!!!"

Warren sighed. "Maybe you shouldn't try to startle me." Untangling Zack from the scarf, Warren dropped him on a pile of grass, then checked his watch.

It had been four minutes and fifty-seven seconds.

Most of the students made it on time, but Alex, Alexia, and Enyanaida hadn't.

Warren had them run laps around the field while the others did magic exercises. Eventually, he let the three join in.

After that, Warren handed May to Zack. Turning to the students, he started floating his scarf around him.

"You all learned something in the library, right?"

They all nodded.

"Okay. You will each spar me, one-on-one, so you can practice the new moves you have learned."

As they sparred Warren, Zackwas keeping May entertained by letting her play with his speaker while he hummed a tune. She giggled as his voice went high and low. When Warren was done sparring, he saw the scene and almost laughed,  he kept his composure. "It's time for lunch. Let's go."

Warren dragged some of the more tired students behind him as they went to lunch.

Meanwhile, from the forest, two familiar icy blue eyes were watching May. They narrowed their eyes as they saw her heading towards the school, then dissapeared.
