Warren and Zack had just gotten home. Warren was exhausted, and Zack had managed to injure his arm, so he was bandaged.

As soon as they came inside, May jumped on them, giggling.

"Hi!"

Shade waved hello. He looked tired as usual.

Warren sat up, picked up May, used his scarf to go on the couch, and immediately fell asleep. May sat still for a second, then carefully jumped down to check on Zack. "You okay, Papa?"

Zack nodded. "Yeah, just tired."

May noticed the slight hint of pain in his voice and looked at his bandages arm, then carefully focused her numbing magic on it. Zack immediately relaxed.

"Hey, May." Zack said.

"Mmm?"

"Want me to call Bri?"

May nodded enthusiastically. "Okay!"

Zack called them, and Bri came over.

"Hi May!"

May held a finger to her lips and pointed at Warren, then led Bri into the dorm room that had been built for her. "Hi!"

The two started drawing as they talked about heroes. Zack smiled. "If you two want, I can bring you guys to the park."

Both children cheered quietly. Zack picked them up and ran to the park.

When he set them down, Bri was giggling. To May, a fast ride from a hero was normal by now but appreciated, but Bri was rarely picked up by anyone other than her parents.

Zack sat on a nearby bench to watch the two play. He smiled as they played on a Mary-go-round. Bri quickly got dizzy, and May had never been on one before so she ended up laying on the sand, gazing at the sky.

They were soon back up again. May startled as a butterfly flew nearby, but Bri chased it and caught it gently, showing May it was okay and it wouldn't hurt her.

Soon, the butterfly flew away, and the two moved on to playing with the sand.

A few drops of rain fell, but Bri didn't mind since she was a water type, and she kept the rain away from May, so Zack let them keep playing.

After about an hour, the rain stopped. The two went back to Zack, giggling because they had been playing in puddles and had devised an evil plan to get him wet. 

To quickly distract them, he pointed at the sky. "Look, a rainbow!"

The two looked at it and gasped. May had never seen a rainbow before. Her eyes widened. "Whoa. That's a... "rain bow"?"

Zack nodded. "Yes. They happen after the rain."

May smiled. It had been a good day.

She crawled into Zack's lap. "Papa?"

"Hm?"

She looked him straight in the eyes. "Daisuki."

That was one of the happiest moments of Zack's life.
