It was about ten minutes since masked person was knocked out and Adrial had gone as I told him to . He had a lot of questions and Zee had them too but I took the liberty of explaining to them.

Ten minutes ago

"See! I couldn't  exactly just let you go with a prop gun in my room and have you pretend that you were planning to kill me. The fact that it was a professional,  I knew that we wouldn't be able to exactly fool him/her with a fake so we had to collect real things . But it had to be done in a manner which doesn't look staged deliberately .The fact that you collected these materials from different dorms efficiently and walked in a manner similar to professional assassin was quite more convincing since obviously stalker was checking in on my room and surveillance cameras of floor .

 Now as you talked to Zee while walking on floor , our 'friend' couldn't hear you but when you stepped in my room , both sights and audio were available . That is why  I had to make you talk in a manner which relays that you were recieving orders. The fact that you received mysterious packages and actually looked confused a bit helped in convincing that it was an and ingenuine elaborate plan. Now I had to be very careful in passing these packets to these random people so I just paid them with cash along with slip conveying what I wanted them to do. As you know humans are easily convinced to do most of things for money especially if it seems harmless and comes off as a request from me on campus ,not that I want to brag ." I crossed my legs sitting down in chair.

"Well ! I mean that does explain pretty much everything! But seriously still doesn't explain why would a masked person care if you are going to be killed . I mean wouldn't that be just what the organization that sent him or her want?" Adrial sighed.

"Tell me , if you are aspiring to make your school proud by coming first in state examination, would it be same if somebody else did by coming first in state?" I looked at him.

"Well no ! Of course not. Although I have no such .." He began.

"It doesn't matter what you want ! It is a hypothetical situation only meant to be designed to convey an analogy . There were two reasons behind my plan. Firstly , I assumed killer would want to kill me himself and secondly, there were at least 25 instances where I could have been easily assassinated and discreetly but I wasn't . Of course , there could have been more chances. I don't know. I am not a professional assassin but either way it had to mean that they were trying to extract or overhear some kind of information that I possess. I still don't think I have any such info but if they think that , well better for me anyway . It helped me survive till now because of that . Now please go away , Adrial. I am not exactly comfortable interrogating someone trying to kill me if I am not alone." I gleamed my eyes.

"Dude! You are so contradictory to normal people. See ya tomorrow or whenever." He sighed putting down comms.

"Keep them ! Even if you decide not to join , consider it as a compensation for almost being killed because of this little operation." I told him as he picked them up and nodded leaving the room.

"I can stay on line at least right?" Selica asked doubtfully.

"Of course! As I told you , you have authority to breach all of my privelleges even when I will say that I don't like it at time." I sighed

"Ok! I don't know if you are actually making us look closer by this statement or just frustrated at me . Never mind , I am staying" She decided.

Now

I opened a water bottle and emptied it all out on masked person as there was groaning as he or she waked up.

"I know you are quite surprised but still I am not really one to breach anyone's privelleges at least if I can afford to. I am willing to bet here that I won't have to. That is the reason I haven't unmasked you even though you are planning to kill me. Please don't try to run. It would make you following all the way , running and scampering and all bit childish and rather futile in the end unless you break my neck first which you aren't going to ...at least not yet ." I exhaled sitting on my chair.

"You are an idiot."  The assaliant grumbled.

"Well! I am so inclined to say  "can't say I am surprised you said so " like always but I really can't do that here. I mean this is the first time anyone has called me an idiot. I don't mind being assassinated as much as being called something that I am clearly not. No! It is not a matter of simple pride but rather accuracy. You are distorting the facts and that is something I can't exactly uphold ." I stopped myself to take a breath .

"Calm down , Max. I am sure whatever that person says is of no relevance to your reputation." Selica pacified me.

"You are right. Of course." I raised my eyebrows.

"So who are you anyway and why are you trying to kill me . Well ! Why were you planning to kill me ?" I asked.

"Like I said, you are an idiot."

"Would really appreciate if you stop saying that ?" I crossed my hands

"Why ? Getting on your nerves , Ryder."

"You can't possibly evoke any kind of reaction in me than curiousity " I chuckled.

"Well! Gig is already up anyway. So anyway here you go ."  She tore her mask to reveal herself as a fourteen year girl with golden curls and dark black eyes. Strained eyes probably trained for three years and all . Probably youngest assassin that I have seen . Well ! The only assasin I have encountered in past was Pablo after all.

"So you are a girl . Anyway, doesn't matter. Still doesn't explain why were you sent to spy on me and kill me ?" I questionned.

"She is a girl ? Whoa! How old is she ? How does she look? Does she have a scar or a tattoo?" Selica gushed.

"My name is Ava..." She began

"Shut up, Zee." I sighed as Ava almost flinched.

"Oh yes! You were saying." I looked at her before crossing my legs again.

"I wasn't sent to kill you . Yes ! I was sent to spy on you but to protect you and I was going to do that from behind the scenes in case any threat came . Now you just forced me to come here probably by using some sort of plan or something. Oh ! They warned me that I would be discovered if I wasn't careful but to be found out this soon and knocked out too . I can hardly say I am fit for the job . Now , I would have to report to base that I have been found out . Then I will be deported to somewhere else and it was all  because you had to be clever." She gnashed her teeth .

"Never been more less happy to be called 'clever' than now. Well Ava , guess that explains it . Although there are still certain questions of which I would like you to provide the answer.  But before that , would you like a towel ?" I asked her .

"What?" Selica chimed in.

"Umm..out of nowhere. Why ?  " She asked confused.

"Ya! I just noticed that water instead of being soaked up by your fibertight clothes as I had hoped is seeping down into my bedsheet and it is better if you just well you know stop it because I would have hard time explaining that ." I hid my face.

"Oh ! Yeah ! Sure ." She nodded her head in understanding.

"Also! You can just keep telling your base that I haven't discovered you and let them think that you are still protecting me if you want to stay here . Your choice." I threw her a towel as she stared at me.

"But why would I want to or you would..." She began.

"As I said, up to you to figure it out . Bye , Ava . I would contact you later. Since mystery regarding you has been neutralized , I have got to get back to something much more important and fascinating. You there , Zee . Sorry for the outburst earlier . To answer your question, she is bit shorter than what she looked in the footage ." I began at which Ava glared.

"And you know typical golden hair and black eyes and no scars or anything. Though her eyes can't exactly make her ready for a sniping job  just yet .That I could say for sure . Anyway, I am coming to you now ." I smiled .

"You know! You are about to get in trouble like real soon." Selica warned me.

"What ? I just got out of it . " I closed the door behind me.

"Yeah ! Not this one ! You forgot that Cistella has been running around campus frantically searching for you and she seems super mad ."

"Oh ! I did, didn't I ?" I held my head.
