Claude's Pov

It has been two weeks since I left Selica in Max's care . More specifically in Wonavilla . Even though I knew that things weren't going to be calm in future too, I didn't expect police to die near Wonavilla .

Why did they even arrive there ? No one even knew since call records were wiped out by someone. Then I saw that not only this,but Max had given an interview. It was clearly worded with message for someone specific.

It didn't make sense to me and only other person that he would want to make a compromise with was Isla. But why would he send a message to her for a compromise? Obviously it had to be related then to what hall at hostel . She must have been involved in blasting of those murders .

But I also knew that police wouldn't arrive or have brains enough to think that Isla would exist even and would go to hostel to hinder with Max's life which can only mean one thing that it was none other than him who called the police. But he must have known that Isla could predict his move ... which also means that he wasn't concerned about possible death of those people.

Well! Max! You truly are becoming indifferent more and more like you wanted. But what would be purpose of all this .. the fact that he was able to use this chaos to expel Selena Arias can lead me to believe that it was just a means to ensure that reporters would arrive at hostel for sure so that he can give interview.

The fact that Isla managed to escape Max means that he allowed her to ...the fact that he wasn't really planning on catching her ...but rather planning to use the chaos she caused so as to achieve his means .

Then the only deal he can possibly make with her would be to erase her footage and it was confirmed as police found difficulties in retrieving it so he used Selica for that . So was it all just to test her , wasn't it Max ? To see where you and her stands .

But still it doesn't make sense. Oh right! You had to find more about Wonavilla history too after all so that would have been perfect time to fabricate a situation where you can sneak out some materials from Axis library which was mentioned in newspapers that it was breached by blast .

But if Isla managed to sneak in , then it would have been possible through when it wasn't destroyed by rubble so what you were searching for was in that place? And then you striked a deal with Isla where you erase her tracks but what can she give you ? Let's see.

Out of all things, you were worried about getting ousted by organization guys arrested...wait ! Don't tell me that it was all plan of you to to have them killed by her to keep your identity secret and yet reach into heart of organization. .. that truly was fascinating and yet so cold.

I gave him advice when he asked me for how to search up on Second Principal's clue . But even though I was admiring his mind , I just didn't like him being so standoffish. He was like that always but not showing it to this extent.

But today , when I returned from school , I was appalled at what happened. It seems Big Ben was .. attacked in daylight . The police managed to arrest two men behind it but..why would anyone do that ? I sighed to myself.

But the shock was not over , one hour later the British Parliament was attacked with firearms as several political leaders are gunned down . There was mass panic all over the country and rightfully so .

Just what was happening? There was no way it was a random attack. Someone had planned this. No! It wasn't even an attack on country . At least not in the sense I could see. Rather! The way people who attacked officials and Big Ben appeared calm and as if not afraid at all when being arrested .

Such a behavior even if for terrorists wasn't simply normal. No ! It wad a part of diversion. But why would they be willing to attack country's largest centres to cause mass panic and attract attention of police all over just as diversion ? There is only one organization capable enough to do all this.

The organization in Shadows which is trying to get item hidden in Wonavilla. Max ! I hope you are okay . Because they are coming . I am sure you can sense them too. You knew what you were heading into when you ignited the spark by your words and contacted them.

But don't forget to ask for help this time straightaway when you need it instead of just starting a plan on your own and involving me completely ignorant in midway. You know how that worked out last time. I must inform my father though of my intentions in advance anyway.

Max's Pov

As expected, the man took the helm and rode it forward. Karl Himenston , you are going to attack Wonavilla secretly today aren't you ? Because no one would suspect that after attacking two major landmarks simultaneously , whoever is behind this would attack a simple hostel? Well ! I certainly could see now why would you want to do that. Truth was indeed overwhelming.

I was still quite overwhelmed by what I discovered yesterday but today was the day that I would finally be able to find it all.

But first, I had to make sure that I enter the estate safely and avoid any guards inside especially now they are on more alert after what happened.

I stealthily sneaked inside the estate and saw one guard patrolling . I quickly scampered as he went the other way . But still I had to find Room 14 . I didn't exactly have layout of estate ..not even on net . The layout on book was more or less accurate so all I had was my deductions . But it was fine. I have always depended on them .

After search of fifteen minutes, I managed to find the room 14 . So it seems that it wasn't one of the room added in 1991 like I had suspected but rather those two rooms must have been added to start a culture and divert attention only.

But now after I entered the room,my eyes wandered from one place to another. There were shelves of book and table and a chair. It seemed like no one had visited this room in years .

"First Stone. Regression Analysis."
Those words rang in my head .

Max ! Think about what it means. Obviously what Mr Winston met by the path of regression...by which it means I can't analyse things in progression but rather I have to rely on a regression.

For ex if you have to deduce someone, a stranger, you will first look for his attire, his behaviour and situation and then start to correlate deductions about him in progression. But if you already know the facts , then to find out from where you derived those facts , you will go back to his attire , that is simply regression.

So it means that The book no 14 marked here ...I have to not deduce it and derive facts from it but rather regress it to thinking how it came to be related to first stone.

Let's see first stone implies the foundation . The foundation means the beignning .  The author of this book no 14 "Jenna Coleman" which means the foundation of Jenna Coleman. If I read her name correctly which I did , then she is author of seven books . Tree Axis , Ignatius Lyotus , etc .

So I have to go back into my mind to see which book was published by her first.

This was going to take time so I better sit down on chair anyway. After all , guards are as likely to see if I am standing up as likely as they are to see if I am sitting comfortably.

2001 ! That was when she published her first book . Another equivocal twice.  But that is not the concern. Regression analysis is still yet to be done . 2001 rounded to 2000 divided by 21+22 . Since those two dates are connected due to existence of first stone . Which means 46 th book roughly . Let's see ...

As I rolled my eyes between the shelves, I saw a single book marked no 46 . The fact that it was all set in complications, was simply to ensure that Karl Himenston can't get his hand on it even by chance because he can only send one man to stealthily take it and it is pretty much guaranteed that they cannot think of all this when they are skilled in physical prowess too.

This universe generally demands a balance ...well statistically such measures were just as a safeguard.  After all Karl Himenston didn't even guess why that rule existed in the first place so Mr Winston probably wanted whoever arrives at this point to prove himself even more which was pretty much easy.

After all regression analysis is nothing more than just going back in time and using past.

With heavy pounding heart , I shoved the book inside me and took my leave before my luck runs out .  It was about one hour by now.

I sat down in library so as to not anyone observe me .

"World War 2 had left Britian in quite a delicate situation so the only choice that we had left was to free some colonies from our control that we did with India. But when Seuz Crisis occurred in 1956 , then everything changed.

In 1952, Egypt had a new nationalist government after the monarchy was overthrown. The coup, was led by Colonel Nasser and in 1956 Nasser became the President of Egypt. He decided that the Egyptians should own and control the Suez Canal, and so he nationalised it. This meant that British shares in the canal were taken over by the Egyptian government.

The British Prime Minister, Anthony Eden, was determined to resist Nasser. The British devised a secret plan with the French and the Israelis to invade Egypt and secure the Canal. At the end of October 1956 the British, French and Israelis invaded Egypt and took control of the Suez Canal.

The American government was furious that they had taken that action without the agreement of the United States. American President Eisenhower condemned the invasion, and in early November he secured a United Nations vote urging the end of the operation. The British and French had to withdraw their forces because of this American opposition. This event marked a serious decline in Britain’s international power and independent authority

But how do you think Britian who was already affected by world war to so much extent could possibly hope to gain a hand with French and Israelis to attack?

This is where the expérimentées came in . Even though in 1952, Mr Lepton shut it down converting to whole hostel properly, the first Principal didn't do that and collaborated with British government that time in secret to make use of Charles Rodger. 

So he was called back in year 1956 by none other than British government itself and helped them build a sonic bomb which clearly violated the treaty that was signed by Britian with several other counties in UN . By making use of sonic bomb , British were able to monopolise it's gains on canal until Americans came to know about it and everything was disbanded.

French and Israelis indeed collaborated with us but only French had idea of what British was making.  After long years of confrontation over history, the two countries allied simply to contrive a secret pact that all the details of such a plan would be erased after its usage . So after British conceded along with French , then British government destroyed all records of it.

They fabricated the guise that Charles Rodger attended wedding of Pearsons in such a subtle manner contrary to what had really happened at the wedding as they married alone that whoever would read their records in British Archival Records would get the idea that Charles knew Pearsons when in fact Charles never met Pearsons and would conclude that for violating his exile on which he was sent in 1952 came back for their marriage in 1956 and died a year later in 1957 after Mr Lepton's cousin killed him when in fact he was called back by First Principal and govt and then allowed to start a family to make the situation a perfect lie as he was killed because of violation secretly ."

A lie within a lie . I was just shocked at what I discovered. I had suspected that something shady would be involved but ...to know that Pearsons never met Charles and escaped on their own... which means all this time when Vincent Rodger was planning all this, he continued to believe because of a lie set up by British government.

That is why it was possible for organization to entrap him into coming to meet Pearsons by sending a fake letter from them but Vincent believed that Charles his adoptive father knew him but in fact they never even met.
Karl Himenston knew that it was all a lie and use it to his advantage by sending the info to all branches which Isla was able to use to neutralize threat of Rodger opening his mouth but just for organization sake..her real objective was of course me .

I sighed. Let's just continue reading.

"After Charles death , the British government had taken care of all . Each trace of that treaty was gone, a pact if known could destruct status of Britian and France in an instant. But that wasn't the case.

The First Principal helped the government but he wasn't sure if the government could be trusted enough  . The fact it was hiding such conniving activities from its citizens and world and employing behind the scenes method to have its assets killed when they turn liability. It was not a path towards true progress.

So First Principal made British government that evidence was destroyed but by using his means managed to retrieve the pact which was officiated between two countries marked by their seals .

British government was finally relaxed after First Principal died but before passing away, he wrote me a letter with all these facts and told me to pass it on along with the pact unbeknownst to British government.

He said " I want to make it clear. This is nothing more than a safeguard against British government in case it turns blind eye to  plight of citizens. So now it is your duty to safeguard it ." Of course ! I was a new Principal in office and overwhelmed by such a heavy duty placed upon me but I knew I couldn't just destroy it .

It was a necessary piece of past , a necessary keepsake to remind this nation in case it turns against its ideals and citizens. But I wasn't sure that passing it on to next Principal would be the wisest choice and neither was I sure that if I tell it to someone else , it would be prudent .

So I had already started to devise a plan after few months , I started a guest tradition after adding two rooms and all . Karl Himenston, that man ..he came to know about my intentions to a certain extent when he entered my room without permission one time.

I reprimanded him but as he left the hostel, I knew that ...he wanted to get his hands on the treaty . And one year later , when he suddenly disappeared , I knew the man was building an organization.

So I don't know who is reading this. Who managed to find this. I simply chose to bet on the one with keen intellect and intuition to go to such lengths to find it who will arrive in future. The pact is attached in the back. It is up to you what you wish to do with it .

But know so ! If this gets in hands of that organization, then that man Karl Himenston would monopolise not only Britian but France too behind shadows. I understand you are able to grasp the levity of situation. So good luck to you, new watchdog."

Now

I burned the book and kept the pact in my pocket . It was best to not let anyone else know the facts. As the air brushed against my cheeks, I sighed.

""Come at me with all your might then, Karl Himenston. I am not going to lose . I can't afford to lose. After all I am the watchdog of my precious Britian." As a genuine thin smile formed on my face .
