If I had to summarise my experience with Silva in just few words, well frankly I would refer to impossible but I suppose "unknown satisfaction" comes close to it as much as words in English language gets to describe something .

Either way ,  Silva and I visited several places before actually figuring out how to get back . It was pretty hard and it took like 10 minutes to think but it worked out.

I had still not recieved any call from Zoe. Oh well! I suppose I didn't bother much since I  remembered today ,I had to meet up with Claude in order to oversee the first meeting of our  club . I had already called Selica and told her to come there at 4 pm just like Isla , Adrial, Cistella and several others so as to there was no attention towards whom I called and have them fit in discreetly.

Wondering why I didn't call Silva? Well keeping all resources together was also not a good idea plus she would definitely be ousted out as trained agent by Claude since she just won't care enough to even act like we were meeting her for first time.

It was about 3:30 pm. I guess it was as good as time as any to head off to club . I am pretty sure Claude would have invited some members too . A fairly large group providing perfect cover for my organization.

"Is your name Max Ryder?" Someone stopped me in tracks as I nodded to which a senior student gave me a roll of sheet and walked away.

"I don't know how I got it . I was just paid for it . That is what he would say if you are now  planning to ask him . Of course! You could have guessed it by yourself too. Oh sorry! I mean deduced! I have heard that you take offence when someone says 'guess' with regards to your ability . Don't try to trace it back . It would be futile approach and I would be very disappointed in you.  Anyway! as I write this , I can almost feel you standing next to me , Max .You don't know me but I know you ..well to be fair who doesn't? Who am I ? Why am I sending you a vague letter and what is my goal? Great questions, Max . Just know this ! We will meet soon enough so I hope you enjoy your vacation as long as you can. See you soon.

I burst into laughter with hands over my eyelids . Someone who can match my prowess and predict all my thoughts . Interesting ! Truly a fascinating creature.  Z, were you the one behind Vincent rodger 's case?  Did you also send Pablo after Mr. Agathin  then? Were you simply watching me patiently all this time?

If so, I look forward to meeting you indeed.

"You seem in unusually bright mood today?" Claude remarked as I entered the club room.

"I do, don't I ? " I smirked.

"Any particular reason?" She asked.

"Several. But first order of business to be commenced after introduction is allocating each member their particular roles. After all a proper administration is quintessential for any organization." I sat down on chair eyeing all students who were gathered here.

"You mean club right?" Claude whispered.

"Sure!" I looked at her as everyone sat down after introducing themselves . I appointed Claude as President but she insisted that I should be joint President instead of Vice President so I acceded to her heed . Selica wasn't given any job because I knew she would be super mad if she got her hands full here too along with doing my own work and her homework . I don't want that at any case. Adrial was generally free so he was appointed with delivery for members . It was a perfect cover for his delivery mission that he does for me.

I wasn't sure Isla would even come but she decided to greet me with her presence after all with a happy smile. She even attained the position of accountant since she was great with maths specifically and studies in general. So she was going to report our finances and expenditure of our school fundings. It was perfect job for her . 

It was about evening when I recieved a text message from Zoe which stated that she was absolving from her promise ..well agreement in a sense to supply me materials for money due to some new issues preventing her from complying with it .

So Ex Contracto .The text message was well quite vague . Like what issues? This was turning out to be an uncouth situation for sure. Everything now has become so volatile that it almost seems like someone is planning to wind us into the despair. Maybe, I am over reacting and thinking too much but it was not because of the news . No fact intimidates anyone,  what does intimidate are its ensuing  circumstances and perils that it brings along subjectively . Well ! Waiving it aside, I need to be chary of things now . It has been barely couple of hours since mysterious letter arrived and now this. Coincidence! Sure, there is always a probability but I don't believe so. Someone has decided to put their oars in my life for sure.

But all this aside , I first need to put things ship shape again. I don't even know if I am trying to catch a Tartar here but still I have to keep moving forward.

"Are you serious?" Selica exclaimed when I told her the news.

"I mean I expected things would get interesting but just in barely two weeks .You are really something . It is almost like you are Causa Sine Qua Non in mysteries of this world" She remarked.

"I don't know what that phrase means."I pointed out .

"Search it ." She grinned as she rolled back on her chair at which I just sighed.

"By the way ,now that I think about it . We didn't have an actual written agreement. We just agreed without signatures and all. Ex Nudo Pacto Non Pitié Actio. " I sighed arching on bed.

"What does it mean?" She asked.

"Search it ." I smiled satisfactorily. Yes! I only knew couple of such phrases and this was perfect comeback.

"You don't want to go there, Max. In Scotland I used to read everyday. This word fight is Force Majeure for you and Honoris Causa for me ." She warned me . Agreed! Please stop  attacking me with Latin barrages.

"So what are you going to do?" She asked.

"I am thinking. It takes time. I am not an AI who can think billion things a second. " I told her as she blinked as if to say that she didn't say it either.

Before I knew it , I fell asleep and only woke up realizing that I had again fallen asleep in Selica's room. I  was generally so apprehensive of so many things despite my attitude . Yet for some reason , it is as if in her presence, I feel nothing but a comforting vibe that I lose all that .

"Damn Selica! Why didn't you wake me up ?" I shook my head as there was a knock on the door at which I almost jumped out of the window that was in the room but then I realised that was probably overreacting to things and falling to death was certainly not a constructive solution I can't certainly open it because I don't want anyone finding out that I am in Selica's room so early in the morning . Well ! Being in a girl's room anytime would be bad if seen by someone.

"Wake up Selica" I shook her as she woke up groggily.

"What is it!" She asked .

"Not so loud." I put my finger on her . Seriously! Selica, you should know better than to talk loud.

"Someone is at door. Open it . I am going to hide in... well under bed I guess." I sighed as she nodded.

Thoth's POV

Selica opened the door with her heart beating faster than ever before in her life. As the anticipation grew in her , the passage of time elapsed with every action taking place progressing her towards that unprecedented expectation.

"Hey! How are you?!" Claude remarked as the door opened.

"Sorry! Who are you?" She asked. Selica knew it of course but to make her seem like a clutch and one who wasn't exactly too keen on remembering people , Max had suggested her to present such personality to Claude and others.

"Oh! We just met yesterday. Well I suppose you can easily forget when there are so many people around. Anyway! I am sorry. I know it is quite early  but can you come with me? I think rising early and practising agility is one of the most efficient part of training to shadow and collect information. " She explained.

"Of course! Just give me five minutes to get ready." Selica proceeded to close the door as Claude blocked it .

"No! You can just come in what you are wearing . After all , we aren't going to party." She smiled. Selica cursed Inside. What was Claude's deal now? Does she always have to want everything according to her?

"You do have a point but I can't just let my room be left like this before going out . It will just be on my mind while I am training." Selica argued.

"Then I will help you. " Claude entered before she could even say anything as she scurried her eyes around

"I think you are being quite rude, Claude."  She raised her eyebrows.

"So you do remember my name after all." As she drew close to Selica with a smirk.

"You told me after I told you that I don't remember." Selica hesitated.

"No! I didn't, Selica."As Selica flinched inside at her glare She could feel her breath as she stood her ground. Why was Claude so scary here?

"I don't know why you are putting up an act in front of everyone but you won't fool me , Selica . Just remember that ." As she drew back and closed the door after her .

"Max ! I think we are going to have a bit of problem with her " Selica gulped as he came out dusting himself off.

Max's Pov

"Well ! It was a bit expected. After all Claude is a genius too so even if I put on acts, she can still see through my channels and an act put up by others. I only considered it after I had already agreed to club. Either way , don't worry. She can deduce all she wants for now . I would make sure that she never finds anything related between us beside what we show in club until a fixed point.That is what is most important. By the way, I have figured out another way. We are going to contact another school and then select someone from there to get our shipments now . No worries. I have already a number on my list." I arched my back straightening it out.

"There are lot of threats to our existence.You know that." She sighed.

"I know, Zee.  I haven't forgotten threat mentioned by Silva , Claude's prowess to expose us and this mysterious adversary who claims to be on equal footing with me . I am going to deal with it " I resolved.

"You can rely on me too for this, Max." She assured me.

"Sorry. We will deal with it . But currently at this point, we have no idea who this mysterious sender is so all we can do is treat the symptoms of disease it threatens to infect us with . Silva's threat is a bit on unpredictable side. As for Claude, she will be easy to derail given a few nudges ."I glinted my eyes staring at her.
