We sat in a circle on the floor and began our very boring game of Monopoly. "Hmm..." I pondered what to do and Ben stared at me, he then pointed to the board. "Beatrice, we haven't started yet. You have to pick out your game piece first." he said. I giggled, "My apologies. I've never played the 'Monopoly' game before." Owen gawked at me before quickly regaining his composure, "Wow." he simply stated.

Ben pulled out the game pieces, "Dibs on the top hat!" he exclaimed. Owen nodded "Yeah, sure." he said and grabbed the boat. I smiled and grabbed the dog, "Aw, it's so cute~" and with that they both laughed at me. Ben smirked, "I totally expected that from you."

We all set our pieces on the starting line and we sorted out the fake money. Once we started I instantly got the hang of it, it was just like how my parents managed their businesses and budgets! Ben sighed, "Stuck in jail...again." Owen pulled another card and read it with the most nonchalant face I'd ever seen then calmly rolled the die.

This went on for a very long time and we ended up playing two rounds, I won both easily! By the time we were done the sun was already setting. "Well would you look at that,"Ben noted, "Beatrice you should probably go back to your room." I wanted to agree but I realized that I had forgotten how to get back and I certainly didn't want to be a burden!

 "I...um...can I stay a little longer? *yawn* I saw some other board games back *yawn* there." I weakly remarked. Owen looked me straight in the eye, to be honest he was pretty intimidating. I'm pretty short so everyone I've met so far has been taller than me besides that black haired girl that I ran into. Owen stopped staring and looked away, "I'll walk you back. You're obviously terrible with directions anyway." 

My breath hitched-how did he know?! "U-Um, you don't need to do *yawn* that! I'll be fine." He looked back at me, "You've gotten lost almost three times already and Ben's not much better off." Ben glared at him, "That's not true! I'm great with navigation!" 

Owen sighed, "You don't have to accept my help, I'm just offering it." I nodded, "O-Okay, farewell Ben. I hope to see you tomorrow." Owen immediately left for the door and I hastily followed. Ben just sat there, "Even in friendship I'm the third wheel..."

As we made our way down the hall he kept silent. "I feel like I'm not satisfied with our introduction...do you want to do it over?" I desperately tried to start a conversation. He glanced over at me, "Not really."

He quickly weaved his way past students and hallways and I carefully trailed behind him. "Do you have any hobbies? I especially love cute animals and music, do you have any preferences?" I asked, he stopped suddenly. "C-Cute animals? Ser-Seriously?" his mouth kind of wiggled then turned into a soft smile. He covered his mouth then hurried down another hall.

This hall was empty, "Aw, you smiled! That's so nice, I really like your smile." I said. He blushed a little, "Keep going down this hall then take two rights. Room 317 is four doors down, don'tworryI'mnota stalkerBenjusttoldmeyourroomnumberbye!" he stammered and ran off. 

I smiled, he really did have emotions after all! I yelled after him, "THANK YOU~" then I giddily walked down the hall and followed his directions.

It didn't take me long to find my room again. Once I got there I pulled out my key and let myself in. Erica was sloppily laying on her bed and she still had her headphones on. I quietly pulled a blanket over her and yanked her headphones off. I changed into my nightgown and climbed up into my bed to go to sleep.
