The flight was smooth, and as we landed in Boracay, I couldn't help but feel a wave of relief wash over me. For the first time in a long while, the weight of military life, of responsibilities and constant missions, seemed like a distant memory. All that mattered now was Kai, this beautiful island, and the time we had ahead of us.
"Finally," Kai said, stepping off the plane and inhaling the fresh, salty air. He looked at me with a grin, his eyes sparkling in the sunlight. "I didn't think we'd ever get here."
I chuckled, slinging an arm around his shoulder as we walked toward the exit. "You're not the only one. I've been dreaming of this for weeks."
The heat from the sun was a welcome change from the usual cold, sterile environment of the base. I could feel the tension in my muscles slowly easing, and I knew this vacation was exactly what we needed. The air smelled like saltwater and freedom, and it felt good to be away from the chaos of our daily lives.
We made our way to our beachfront hotel, a cozy but luxurious place with a view that could take anyone's breath away. The turquoise water stretched out before us, the soft sound of the waves crashing on the shore in the background. Kai's face lit up, his expression one of pure bliss as he took in the view.
"This place is amazing, Max." His voice was full of awe. "I can't believe we're finally here."
I smiled, feeling a sense of pride. "I'm glad you like it." I took his hand, leading him toward the hotel lobby. "Let's check in and get settled. We've got a lot of time to relax."
As we entered the lobby, the staff greeted us warmly, guiding us to our room—a spacious suite with a balcony that overlooked the beach. Kai dropped his duffel bag on the bed and immediately went to the sliding doors, pushing them open to let the sea breeze rush in. The view from the balcony was even more stunning than I remembered, and I could tell Kai was already in love with it.
"This is heaven, Max." He grinned at me over his shoulder. "I think this is exactly what we both needed."
I walked up behind him, wrapping my arms around his waist and pulling him close. "I couldn't agree more." I kissed the back of his neck, my fingers tracing the line of his jaw. "It's just you and me now. No one else to worry about."
He leaned into my touch, his body relaxing in my arms. "Max, can we just stay like this for a while?" he asked, his voice soft but filled with desire. "Just... no rush, no distractions."
I smiled, pressing a kiss to his ear. "We can stay like this as long as you want, love."
We stood there for a while, just holding each other and taking in the view. There was something about the calm, serene environment that made everything feel possible. This was real. No more pretending, no more hiding. We were here, together, and nothing else mattered.
After a while, we decided to head out to the beach. The sand was warm beneath our feet as we walked hand in hand along the shore, the sun starting to dip lower in the sky, casting a warm golden hue over the water. The world felt so much smaller here, quieter.
"What do you want to do first?" I asked, squeezing Kai's hand gently.
He looked out at the horizon, then turned back to me with a mischievous smile. "I don't know, Max. But I have a feeling we'll find something fun to do."
I laughed, the sound carefree and light. "I'm sure we will." I leaned in and kissed him softly, feeling the warmth of his lips, the connection we shared growing deeper with each passing moment. "I'm just glad we're here. Just us."
Kai pulled back slightly, his gaze steady. "Yeah, me too." His voice was softer now, more vulnerable. "I needed this. We needed this."
I nodded, my fingers brushing through his hair. "We deserve it, Kai. We've earned it." I kissed him again, this time a little deeper, more deliberate. The kiss lingered, a promise of everything that was yet to come.
We spent the next few hours on the beach, enjoying the peace and quiet, taking in the beauty of the island, and losing ourselves in each other. As the sun began to set, painting the sky in hues of pink and orange, I felt like I had everything I needed right here. No missions, no war, no army life—just Kai and me, living in this moment.
Later that evening, we had dinner by the beach. The warm glow of lanterns lit the area, creating a romantic atmosphere that only added to the magic of the night. Kai and I sat at a small table, a bottle of wine between us, the sound of the waves crashing softly in the background.
We finished our meal, laughing and talking about everything and nothing at all. I couldn't remember the last time I had felt this... light. Carefree. Kai's laughter, his teasing glances, and the way he always managed to make me feel like the only person in the room—it was all so damn intoxicating. I wanted more of it. More of him.
As the waiter cleared our plates, I couldn't resist the pull to be closer to him. Without a word, I stood and walked around the table to his side. He looked up at me, a playful smile tugging at his lips. "What are you doing?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.
I didn't say anything at first. Instead, I gently pulled him up, guiding him into my arms. The warmth of his body against mine sent a shiver down my spine. The way he fit perfectly in my embrace, like he was made just for me. I could feel his heart beating beneath my fingertips, matching the rhythm of my own. I wanted him. Right here, right now.
"Max, wait—" Kai's voice was breathless, but I didn't want to wait. Not anymore.
I silenced him with a soft kiss, my lips finding his with a hunger that had been building since the moment we left the base. His lips tasted like wine and salt, and his body responded instantly, pressing closer against me as if he, too, couldn't fight it any longer. The world seemed to disappear as I deepened the kiss, my hands sliding down his back, pulling him tighter into me.
He didn't pull away. Instead, his hands slid up my chest, tracing the outline of my jaw before tangling in my hair. He tugged me closer, if that was even possible, and for a brief moment, I could feel the electricity between us—raw, undeniable.
"Max," Kai breathed, his voice breaking through the haze of desire clouding my mind. "I... I want this too."
Without a second thought, I guided him toward the hotel room, my fingers never leaving his body, my eyes locked onto his. Every step we took felt like an eternity, and the closer we got to the room, the faster my pulse began to race.
As soon as the door clicked shut behind us, everything else in the world seemed to disappear. It was just Kai and me, this room, and the overwhelming desire pulsing between us. I could feel my heart racing, a combination of anticipation and pure, unfiltered need. The air between us was thick with tension, and every movement felt electric, like the moment we'd both been waiting for had finally arrived.
Kai stood in front of me, looking almost too perfect for words. His chest rose and fell with each breath, his eyes darkened with desire, and his lips—God, those lips—were slightly parted, inviting me in. I didn't even think about it. I was already moving toward him, drawn to him like a magnet, my hands reaching for him, pulling him closer.
"Max," he breathed my name as I kissed him again, this time with more force, more urgency. I could feel his pulse racing under my fingertips, and that only made me want him more. His hands found their way to my back, pulling me in tighter, pressing against me like he couldn't get close enough.
I was lost in him. I could feel his body responding to mine, his every move synchronizing with my own. It was like we were one, two halves coming together after being apart for too long. I kissed him harder, deeper, letting the hunger take over.
"Fuck! I am so fucking inlove with you," I muttered against his lips, my hands sliding down his body, tracing every inch of his skin as if I couldn't get enough of the feeling of him under my touch.
"Me too.. I love you too," he replied, his voice barely a whisper, but it sent a thrill through me nonetheless. His hands slid under my shirt, brushing the warm skin of my chest, sending heat flooding through me. I couldn't hold back anymore. The restraint, the careful control, had all but disappeared.
I pulled him closer, my hands roaming down to the waistband of his pants, eager to feel every part of him. But I wanted to go slow. I wanted to savor this moment, to feel him under my fingers, to make him remember this night as much as I would.
His lips moved from mine, trailing kisses down my neck. The feeling of his breath on my skin made my head spin. "Max," he murmured, his voice low, rough. "You feel so good."
I was practically shaking with desire. "You have no idea how much I want you, love," I confessed, my voice thick with need. I couldn't stop myself. Every inch of my body screamed for him.
Without thinking, I tugged at his pants, pulling them down just enough to feel his warmth against my hands. He gasped, his eyes meeting mine with that look—desire, passion, and something deeper, something I couldn't quite place but knew I wanted more of.
"Max, I need you." The words left his lips in a broken whisper, and I nearly lost control at the sound of his voice.
I kissed him again, this time with even more urgency, my hands moving over his body with the sole purpose of making him mine. Every inch of his skin under my touch drove me insane. I wanted him completely. I wanted to feel him, every part of him, like it was the only thing that mattered in the world.
When he finally pulled away, gasping for air, his eyes locked with mine, and I knew—we were past the point of no return. "Max," he said softly, his voice almost trembling. "I want this... I want you. All of you."
I didn't need any more words. I lifted him effortlessly, carrying him to the bed, and for the first time in a long while, I didn't care about anything but him. I undressed him with a reverence I didn't even know I was capable of, my hands brushing over his body as if I were committing every detail to memory.
His skin was soft, flawless, and the way his body arched under my touch made me lose all control. I wanted him more than I'd ever wanted anything in my life.
"Max," he moaned as I kissed my way down his neck, my hands exploring the smooth expanse of his back. His hands were on me now, pulling at my clothes, desperate for more. And I was more than ready to give it to him.
I kissed him again, slowly, deeply, savoring every moment as if it was the last. I needed him. Needed to feel him completely, to have him in a way I'd only ever dreamed about.
I whispered against his lips, "Mine." I wanted him to know. To feel it. He wasn't just some fling or a momentary distraction. No, he was mine. And nothing in this world would change that.
His hands gripped my shoulders, pulling me closer, and in that moment, everything else disappeared. It was just him and me, the taste of his lips, the feel of his body under mine, and the promise of what was to come.
"Max," he gasped, his voice full of hunger
