MIKAELSON COMPOUND

That night, after putting Mallory to sleep in her bed, Alexa slowly walks out and walks inside Klaus's and hers bedroom and sits down on the bed.

Glancing at a bottle of bourbon on the drinking table, Alexa gets up and walks to it. And takes a swig of it as she sits back down on the bed. And breaks the bottle of bourbon in her hand using her hybrid strength.

Klaus slowly walks inside their bedroom and looks at Alexa. "Alexa?"

Alexa looks at Klaus. "You have demons. I do too, Klaus."

Klaus slowly walks to her and sits down beside her on the bed. "Whatever demons you have, you and I can eliminate them together."

Alexa smiles softly at him. Klaus and Alexa kisses each other. And gently pulls away from the affectionate kiss.

The next morning.

Alexa's Outfit

In the kitchen, Alexa and Mallory are sitting at the kitchen countertop, eating their bowls of cereal.

"Good morning." says Klaus, walking inside the kitchen.

"Morning, Daddy." Mallory says.

"Morning Klaus." Alexa says.

Klaus kisses Mallory's forehead and Alexa's cheek. And walks away from them.

"So, what's on the Klaus Mikaelson agenda?" Alexa says, playfully.

Mallory playfully giggles as she eats a small spoonful of her cereal.

"I don't know, Love. What's on the Alexa Holland-Mikaelson agenda?" says Klaus.

Mallory playfully giggles.

"Don't know. But Mallory and I are visiting the Bayou." Alexa says.

"Yay." Mallory says, gently setting down her empty cereal bowl and walks away.

"Mallory's excited." Klaus says.

"Yeah." Alexa says. "I know you don't wanna talk about it, with The Strix gone, Tristian, Aurora, and Lucien are your enemy as well."

"I can handle Tristian and Lucien." Klaus says.

"What about Aurora?" Alexa asks him.

Klaus gently cups Alexa's face with his hands. "I can handle her as well."

"I don't trust Aurora." Alexa says.

"I don't trust her either, but as I said, I can handle Aurora." Klaus says.

"Be careful, Niklaus." Alexa says.

"I will." Klaus says.

Klaus and Alexa kisses each other. Gently pulling away from the affectionate kiss, Alexa walks away from Klaus and walks away with Mallory.

THE BAYOU

In the barn, Alexa, Skylar and Mallory are sitting at a table with their snacks.

"You know, this barn can be a café." Alexa says.

"Can it?" Skylar says.

"Yeah." Alexa says. "With some fairy lights, a small kitchen, it'll be nice."

"Yeah, it is. And, you, me and Mallory." Skylar says.

"Yeah. It's something for me to do other than staying at Mikaelson Compound." Alexa says.

"Hey, Alexa." Hayley says, sitting at the table with them. "Skylar, Mallory."

"Hi, auntie Hayley. Mommy is gonna make a barn café." Mallory says.

"A Bayou Café, sounds pretty interesting." Hayley says.

"Yeah. We're gonna need some plastic cups, bowls, plates, spoons and forks." Alexa says.

"I'll get the small kitchen." Skylar says.

"Okay. I can help too." Hayley says.

"Okay, sure." Alexa says.

Out and about in the French Quarter, Klaus is wandering around and notices Aurora across the street. She and Klaus exchange intense expressions at each other as she slowly walks inside a perfume shop.

Klaus slowly follows Aurora inside the empty perfume shop. Aurora smiles, gentle, at him.

"Hello, my sweet love. I knew you would follow me inside here." Aurora says.

"Aurora?" Klaus says.

Aurora looks at him and slowly walks up to him, gently cupping his face with her hands. "I've missed you. Very much."

Klaus looks at Aurora, and gently pulls away from Aurora. "I can't."

"Alexa." Aurora says. "She doesn't have to know."

"I cannot betray Alexa. I can't betray my marriage." Klaus says. And slowly walks away from Aurora. "You wanted me to follow you into this empty perfume shop so, you can seduce me."

"You're still the man I love. And I know a part of you still loves me." says Aurora.

Klaus looks at her. Aurora looks at him and slowly walks up to him.

"Niklaus?" Aurora says.

Klaus looks at Aurora. She gently cups his face with her hands.

"I'm here for you." Aurora says to him.

Klaus and Aurora exchange soft expressions at each other. And they kiss.

Klaus gently pulls away from Aurora. And walks away from her.

MIKAELSON COMPOUND

That evening, in the study, Alexa is sitting on the sofa with some boxes of plastic cups, bowls, plates, spoons and forks.

Klaus slowly walks inside and becomes a bit confused. "What's with the boxes?"

"Hey, Klaus. It's a café thing." Alexa says.

Klaus sits down on the sofa beside Alexa, consumed with guilt. "Alexa, I have to tell you something."

"What is it?" Alexa says.

Klaus looks at Alexa as the guilt consumes him even more. "It's about Aurora."

Alexa's calm expression becomes worried. "What about Aurora?"

"Aurora kissed me." Klaus says.

"Did you kiss her back?" Alexa asks him.

Klaus looks at her, without saying anything. Alexa looks at her husband, hurt.

"Alexa?" Klaus says, worriedly, inaudible. "Alexa?"

With the tears and anger swelling up within, Alexa gets up and walks away from him, walking out of the study.

Klaus walks after Alexa, walking out of the Mikaelson Compound.

"Alexa?!" Klaus says, walking after her. "Alexa, wait?! Alexa, you know I love you."

Alexa looks at him with anger. "Don't you dare! What the fuck is wrong with you?! First, you slept with Aurora, and you kissed her. I knew not to trust Aurora. I forgave you. But I don't know."

"Alexa, you know I love you." Klaus says, gently caressing her cheek with his hand.

"Fuck you!" Alexa says, angrily. "You wanna be with Aurora so much, go ahead, we're done."

"What are you saying?" Klaus asks, glumly.

"You and me, we're done." Alexa says to Klaus. "We're done, Niklaus."

Klaus and Alexa exchange glum expressions at each other.
