We had my friends over for dinner every night. They didn't spend the night though. Every Friday we had our sleepovers. It was fun. For example today. It's Thursday. We were all talking about what we would do tomorrow at Lexis house. I was in the middle of talking about movies when we heard BOOM!!!!! "What was that?!" A girl screamed as the girl next to her fell over flat. She was shot dead.

"Ah! She's dead! Lilly is dead!"

"Shoot!" I yelled. In the next second we were all gathered at the back of the room and the shooters were in the room. Many people were shot within seconds. So many screams. I couldn't here anything. I couldn't here anyone. I couldn't focus. I sat with my hands cupped over my ears with my eyes closed shut. I couldn't see and could barely hear. This was better. I sat like that in Landon's arms. It seemed like forever until I could open my eyes and uncup my ears. When I looked around few people were moving. All my friends weren't. Even Landon. I shook them all till I realized they had all died.

"No...no...no!" I said to myself. Willam walked over to me.

"Come on Max. We have to go home." He said and hugged me as we walked to our home never once letting go.

When we arrived at home nobody was alive there either and on the news it showed that my brother, John, and his band had been killed. Mom and dad were dead on the ground. Face down. Then in the next second Willam was too. I screamed.
