I woke up the next morning with an arm around me. It was Alex's. I recognized it within seconds. I pulled out of his grip and walked to my bathroom, showered, and got dressed. I put on some chapstick and then walked out to find Alex sitting on the edge of the bed.

"You need to get dressed. We might be late." I said and rubbed his hair.

"Max! I don't want to. Just one more hour."

"No. Not gonna happen." I said and handed him his uniform.

"What I have to wear a uniform? Ugh." He said and I smiled.

"Yes. It's a new requirement so get dressed." I said,"Breakfast will be fine in a bit."

I walked out and woke the others up. M

"Bye Jake!" Maddy said then we walked with Alex to our first hour.

"Awe! Maddy has a crush!" I sang in her ear.

"Max! Stop! Please! It's not like that." She said with a deep red face. I smiled and shrugged. "Max. Max. Hello!"

"What?! Sorry I was lost in thought. What is happening?" I said with a smile.

"We are at the door. Come on or we will be late!" Maddy said with a smile.

"Ok! Ok I got it." I said and laughed.

We walked into class and then sat down.

"Max! Max! Hello?! Max!" Alex shook me and I snapped out of thought.

"What?! I didn't do it! I mean.....uh...." I started but trailed off.

"Hahaha. Max. We were just talked about Maddy and Jake being a couple." He said with a smile and laughed.

"Oh! Sorry! I was thinking." I said with a smile.

"Haha. It's fine." Alex said and messed up my hair.

"Alex! It took me forever to fix my hair!" I said trying to re-braid my hair. It didn't work so instead I had my long hair fall all the way down to my knees.

"Wow! That's some long hair! I wish my hair was that long!" Maddy said and started to play with it.

"You can play with it later. It's time for science." I said and we left Hake and Alex standing there while we ran off to class.
