I sat in bed. It was 3am. I was so worried about to tomorrow but excited at the same time. I wanted to go to school but I wasn't sure. There might be some problems. But still. I have to go. I miss school. I miss all of the great memories I have from there. I had gone to that school for my whole life.

But there were also the bad memories. Like when I was raped on campus in 8th grade. Ever since I have never forgotten to bring a knife with me everywhere. Thank God that I hadn't gotten pregnant. I was unsure about this.

"I can't chicken out. I already said yes anyways. Besides, I am excited. I will be with my old friends. And my brother!!! Omg!!!" I said and then I heard a voice on the other side of the door.

"Max. You awake?" It was Alex.

"Yeah. I'm up." I said with a smile. He walked into my room and sat with me on the bed. He looked down at me.

"Why do you look like a crazy person on crack?" He asked and I broke out laughing.

"I get to see my big brother. He graduated from college and is a tracker there." I said with a smile.

"What? You have a brother? Is this the one you called john?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes. He's awesome." I said then my phone rang from the stand.

"Hello?" I answered with confusion as to why someone is calling me this late at night. I heard background voices.

"Should we tell her now or later?" Cap said.

"Tell me what?" I asked confused.

"Um Max?" Tony said.

"Yes." I said.

"Um, so let's say that we were digging around in the pile of body's from the shooting..."

"What?! Ew that's gross!" I yelled.

"Hold on, let me explain. So There might have been a few more survivors than we thought." He said and I smiled.

"Really?! Who?!" I said exited.

"Well um it's um..." his voice trailed off.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Well. We didn't just look in the school. There was some pounding noise coming from the graveyard where Maddy, Skylur, and Hunter were buried. We walked to it and ended up at Maddy's grave. She's um. How do I put it? She's back from the dead. I guess she never died. And that's surprising." He said.

I held my breath at the mention of her name. I sat as still as a statue.

"H-How is this possible. She died. She killed her self. I was there." I said scared.

"I don't know but you need to go to sleep. We'll talk more tomorrow. By Max."

"Bye Tony." I said then hung up. As soon as I hung up, I fell beck hard on my pillow.

"Max? Max what's wrong?" Alex asked with worry clear in his voice.

"Um. You remember when I talked at my best friend Maddy? The one that killed her self?" I asked him.

"She's. It dead. She is alive. And nobody knows how. I watched her die." I said and felt his arms around me.

"Do you want me to stay here? Till your asleep."

"Yes but stay here till I wake up. Please." I asked.

"Alright." He said and smiled. I put my head in his chest and focused on his breathing. Soon I was asleep.
