Max and steel continue falling, getting closer and closer to the ground " steel, before we hit rock bottom, literally! I just want you to know one thing" max says

"Yes max?" Steel asked

"I blame you for this!" Max yelled and was about to hit the floor, until a familiar jet threw into view, max shield his face, thinking it was gonna hit him, and since he was getting close to the ground, but the jet flew past, and shot a green beam at him

Making him stop falling and look to see he was an inch from hitting the ground, before pulling him into the jet and closing the door, him and steel ran into the cockpit " we're alive!" Max exclaimed in relief

" strap up and pipe down!" Ferrus ordered while stirring the jet

"Woah!" Max quickly sat in the empty seat next to his uncle and strapped in before he fell " what is going on? What was that thing?" He asked referring to the creature he and steel just fought

" giant fire monster" his uncle replied

"Uh huh" max says raising an eyebrow at his uncle

"Look what i wanna know is how on Earth your still alive" ferrus says "Well uncle ferrus sorry to disappoint you but-" max was cut off "I'm not talking to you" his uncle dismissed

"If your referring to me sir" steel says joining the conversation "I can assure you it's no thanks to this boy" he said gesturing to max

Who was offended "Ha! Me?! If it wasn't for you I wouldn't be in this mess you glorified Hard drive!" He glared while steel crossed his arms

"Can it both of you!" Ferrus glared "What were you thinking attacking N-telk agents, stealing n-tek properties" ferrus says listing the things they had done

"We were escaping, Obviously" steel says stating the obvious "Escaping..." ferrus gave him a look "you Weren't a prisoner" he stated

"I wasn't?" Steel asked confused "Hmm
My apologies" he says

"I just can't believe your back Steel" ferrus admit

"Hold on, You told me this thing was my dads Science project" max remembered "You didn't say anything about him being your long lost buddy" max said suspicious

"We all thought you were
Well after the accident with Jim" ferrus continued his conversation with steel, completely dismissing the comment "It's good to see you"

" I wish I could say the same sir, But I have no reconciliation of you" Steel stated

"Hey Said his memory cores damaged or something" max added in

"How unfortunate" ferrus frowned "On the bright side now that you two are ultra linked, Steel can help relocate your turbo energy" ferrus stated before eyeing them
"You are ultra linked?" He asked

"If you mean do I hear his annoying voice in my head, Yeah" max nodded

"And sadly it's completely e-reversible" steel stated which made Max's eyes Widnes "Nah that can't be right! You can get him off of me right?!" He turned to ferrus who replied "Nope"

" so I'm married to this toaster?" Max says with distaste

"Yep" his uncle smirked

"My life...is ruined..." max hung his head low "Tell me about it.." steel rolled his eye

"Enough here's the drill" ferrus interrupted getting serious "One. steel you're gonna suppress Max's energy signature"

"Huh?" Max looked back and forth at them confused

"that's how the fire elementor tracked him isn't it?" Steel questioned "Yes" ferrus nodded "And others will follow" he says

"Uhh!" Max grew worried while steel floated in front of him "Initiating turbo dampening protocols" he glowed for a short period of time " Signature surprised"

Meanwhile

At THI someone

Someone was monitoring Max's turbo energy signature on a holo screen, when all of a sudden, the signature disappeared

Which he got nervous and turned to me naught, who had his back facing him "Sir...I...I have some bad news..." he says while naught wasn't happy

Back in the jet

Ferrus continued with the list "Two. Tomorrow, You both report to n-tek for testing" he stated, then said the most important and final "And three
No one is to mention any of this to your mom!" He said warningly "She'll kill us if she finds out..." the uncle and the nephew said in unison with a terrified look on both they're faces

Back at THI

naught was talking to his boss again, but he wasn't happy, he looked angry, very angry "What do you mean we've lost the turbo energy signature?!" He questioned enraged

"I uh don't know!...It just vanished!" Naught states feeling the fear kick in
"Should we resume our initial plan?" He asked smiling nervously

"No!" His boss's voice boomed, making naught flinch "You will find me the source of that turbo energy...Or you will find yourself terminally unemployed!"

"Well alright then..." naught says the. Averts his eyes

Still at THI

Someone, in a grey looking spy suit/ ninja jumped down from a ventilation system, tapped the side of they're head, which glowed yellow

Inside the helmet some lasers came into view, they squatted down, preparing to sprint, then took off

They jumped over the first moving lasers, landing by tucking and rolling, they then grabbed the vent above, swinging and landing on the other side safely

They looked around a corner before sneaking to the door, they scanned the console first to deactivate its security but had to wait for some time

Just then they heard someone clear their throat and turned to see two guards

Before they could do anything The ninja flipped over the firsts back, grabbing his solders and flipping him over, the other grabbed the Ninja, however they head butt them and walked in as the doors finally opened

They walked towards Jason naughts table, lifting the files up and scanning them, before placing them down and going under his desk, pushing the secret button, they sat in the chair and underground, they pushed a bunch of buttons on the computer before finding something interesting, scanning what they found then making an escape before anyone came back

That night ferrus flew the ship to max and molly's apartment building "Thanks for the ride uncle ferrus."

He slowly brought the ship down, enough for max to jump out and land safely

"Remember keep a low profile." He said warningly "Yea low profile got it." Max jump out the jet and ran back to the apartment

They entered through the balcony, earning a slight creak from the floor. Max put a finger to his mouth signaling Steel to be quiet who rolled his eye

Max took a step, steel floating beside him but tripped over a box causing the other boxes to fall creating lot of loud noises.

"Max?" He lifted his head in a panic to see his mother's room lite from her door way

"Is that you hun?" She called out as got back up in a panic. "Oh no, oh man busted." He says, he quickly open a door and push steel into it, who yelped

He looked down at the mess pile of clothes that fell out, Molly walks out of her room to investigate "Max is that-what are you wearing?" She says.

Max had a bulky orange winter coat with a shirt under neath, a pair of pants, and a beanie on his head

"Oh this, is it just me or is it a bit nippy in here?" He move his hands up and down his arms, acting cold

She comes closer and puts a hand to his forehead. "Everything Okay? Are you coming down with something?" She studies his face concerned

"No! I-I mean yes yes maybe that'll explain the coats." He saw Steel float towards her undetected.

He looks at her features from behind. Taping his face or body with his one robotic arm, Max's eyes widened still stared at Steel

Molly gave a confused look and followed were his eyes were looking, She turned around, but steel moved quick on the other side of her shoulder.

Max quickly lunge and grab steel stuffing him in the coat

He slowly back up earning confused looks from his mom. "Well, good night!" He say.

He bumped the door try to rush in his room, But his head collided with the door.

"Right, the door, it wasn't open." He
laugh nervously and open the door slipping into his room.

On her side she sighs at his antics, On his side, he groaned "oh boy" facepalming

Time skip

As max went to sleep, molly was looking at some info on a tablet, she then came upon something that made her eyes Widen and pulled out her phone, while tossing the tablet onto the couch, next to the very same helmet that belong to that spy/ninja

She called a certain someone on her phone "Forge we need to meet" she says with a serious tone

Next day

Max groaned awakening from his slumber, he rose his hand up to see he was still wearing the suit

"Ugh, i was hoping this would be all just a bad dream." He sat up gripping his head "Steel?" He called out to the ultra link

"Max!" He heard his moms voice "Oh no." He panicked

His mom was standing outside the door knocking until max opened, not showing his body "Hey mom, everything good?" He asked smiling nervously

"Yep just wanted to make sure your up, you need to be out the door in 15." She stated, then walks away and back into the kitchen.

"Love you to mom." Max closed the door Sighing, Still eyeing the door incase she would come back.

He walk to his closet, but suddenly out came a floating pile of clothes busting from inside, making him jumped back, tripping over the mess

Which his mother heard "I'm Okay! Situation normal?" He yelled, His mother just shrugged and went back to what she was doing

"What is wrong with you?!" He said in a loud hush whisper.

Steel flew above the once flying pile clothes, rolling an eye. "Utilizing security protocols 795, I spent the night scanning your clothing so I can replicate your rather uh...unique look." Steel said looking max up and down

He floated around him "It's unsafe for you to remove the steel suit, yes? But with the use of sophisticated holographic refraction processes and advance tactical warping algorithms I can make it seem as though your wearing your everyday attire." He explained

Max looked at him a little confused. "So camouflage mode?" Max asked

Steel gave a dumbfounded look slumping a little. "That's what I just said."

"And you'd didn't mention this before because......" max overstated

"You didn't ask." He shrugged his arms and flew towards max and formed his body of m—shape, glowing blue energy, and in a flash

Max yelled as he was wearing his mother's white dress suit "Oh, my mistake this was an outfit from your mother's closet." Steel states

"Whoa wait why were you doing in my mother-" Max asked suspiciously, Steel transformed him again

He looked in the mirror, he had a red jacket, with a grey shirt underneath, also the The symbol on his chest of the jacket matched steels structure

At the same Area steel goes into the suit to transforms with max, so that he had dark jeans and some sneakers, the jacket charged colour until it was blue "Whoa." He says as he looked in the mirror checking himself out.

"Not bad if I do say so myself your still safely contained in the steel suit, but now dressed in your typical fashion and I used the word fashion very loosely." Steel explains, max then quickly grab him and throw him into his backpack.

"Nice this is the thanks I get." He says as max zip up the backpack up a little just for steel to see enough.

Time skip

The bell had rung and students were all about, max was walking down the hall when he bumped into Kirby " hey max, thanks for the other day, those bullies were just about to seriously damage they're fists in my face" he said

"No prob kirby" max smiled

"Let's hang out some time" Kirby suggested "Let me give you my number" he says pulling his phone out

"Sure" max went to pull out what he thought was his phone, but pulled out the Pink and purple phone with the wolf pic, but was still broken, Kirby laughed "Dude what's with the pink and purple Communication device with the wolf?"

"Ugh man! I totally forgot!" Max groaned

"Sarah's gonna kill me." Max says as he began walking away, confusing Kirby who shrugged and went on with his day

"Who exactly is this Sarah fellow and why does he want you dead." Steel questioned.

"Sarah's a She not a He, look its a long story, I destroyed her phone." Max explained

"May I see the device?" Steel asked while max wasn't paying attention "man I really messed this up"

"MAY I SEE THE DEVICE!" Steel voice ran echoed loudly in his head. "Ow! Not so loud!" Max groaned clenching his head, walking past two girls who looked weirded out

In the cafeteria

He stood far away from everyone else "Here." Max Slipped the phone into his backpack, where steel could 'fix' the phone, Noises and blue sparks emitted from it, so max looked both ways making sure no one was looking.

The phone then popped out of the bag into his hands. "Huh?" 

"Max! Hey there you are." He looked to see Sarah walking up to him

He smiled, trying to stay calm as he could "Cool, you remember to bring my phone."  She says pointing it out

"Uh, oh yea this! Yea sure, here it is and totally not broken." He handed it back to her,

She examines it, and suddenly a smile plaster on her face. "Oh max, that's amazing, you made me a playlist." She smile

"I did?" He said confused

"You did." Steel said in his head

"Oh yea, hey..no big deal" he said rubbing there back of his neck "I picked out some cool tunes." He say with a cool wave gesture

"But how? My phone couldn't even play music before." She stated

"That would be because...I tinkered with it."  He said

"Wow I cant wait to listen to it, see you soon, Maxwell McGrath." She says before turning back and leaving.

He wave her goodbye until she was out of sight "A playlist?" He asked

"She's nice for a human I can see why you like her steel says  "zip it. We gotta get to N-tek" max says close the zipper on his bag

Time skip

Max rushed back into the alley, looking around the area, and began looking for the entrance with steel  "Okay. Where did uncle ferrus say the entrance was?"

Max shot some turbo energy at a wall, but nothing happened "Strike 1!" Steel announced like a game

"Huh...." Max struck another wall,  and the entrance appeared, a hatch opening up and a seat was prepared

"Whoa."

He ran over and hopped into the seat, the seatbelt suddenly locked him in, and the seat moved into a pod, then Shot downward, max yelling excitedly while steel was yelling scared in the background   "This is awesome!"

After he arrived at n-tek, he went to the lab where Berto, kat and his uncle Ferrus

"Ready to get started?" Ferrus questioned with a smirk

"Ready." Max says and once he was in the centre of the big room "Go turbo!" After he said that, he was back in the steel suit

"Today, we're interested in learning everything we can About your powers and your link with steel." Ferrus explained while max did some stretching, berto pushed a button on the pad he held and a giant robot, the same size as the elemental rose up in a platform "Knowing your limits will help us keep you And everyone around you safe." Berto then gave the command and the robot jumped into the arena, max ran forward yelling, about to land a punch but was swatted back "Ugh!!!" And crashing against the ground

"Incoming!" Steel exclaims as the robot had jumped up and was about to slam its fist down, but max quickly rolled out the way just in time "Whoa!"

Berto chuckles as he pushes another button, and the giant was about to slam both fists, however max yelled "Go turbo strength!" The transformation knocked back the robot before it got to close, it charged at him again but max punch a hole right through it, surprising the three watching "Huh?"

"Heads up, berto!" Max called out and pu need the head off, making it go flying, Berto juggled it still holding the pad in a panic while ferrus was amused

Then looked back down at max who have a come in gesture in his battle stance, The scientist pushed another button and another robot jumped in and aimed a blaster

"Max! Look out!" Steel warned, the robot fired and max managed to evade the first shot, but failed to miss the second "Ugh!!!!" And hit the wall before the floor, transforming back to his regular height

He jumped out of the way of an incoming shot, and others, all of a sudden steel comes out, max charges at the robot, jumping up and throws him like a boomerang, steel cut the robot in half at the weight, and max landed, and the robot behind exploded

"Whoa!" Ferrus said impressed

Steel groaned feeling dizzy while max pulled a cringe face, also concerned

Berto was still not happy they beat his robot, and push another button, and with a evil smirk, sending out more robots instead of just one, surrounding both max and steel

Max nervous laughed "tag! You're it!" Steel poked him, max understanding followed steel and the jumped up as a robot came in for an attack

"Go turbo strength!" Max turned back into his strong form and began punching, incoming attackers, left and right, however still got blasted and quickly back to his regular height once again, but crashed into a robots waist

He groaned until he looked up to see the robot

Ferrus and kat watched as max, and steel of course were yelling as they were being spun around by the robot berto was controlling, the two adults looked at the crazed looking scientist unamused which he noticed and let them both go

"Whoa!!!!!!!!!!" The two were thrown into the air, flying outside the base, before plummeting back down "Steel?! Do something!!!" Max yelled

"Uh-huh. Working on it." As steel got to work, a new form appeared on his sensor

Max covered his eyes as they were getting closer to the ground "Whoa!" When all of a sudden his form changed and a pare of wings appeared surpassing those down below, berto the most

"Uh... Since when can we fly?" Max asked as they flew around then upwards

"Who knows?" Steel says "But I like it!" He stated 

"Me too!" Max then dived down, berto yelped in a panic typed in the pad and the robots aimed and began firing at them

But this time max, evade the blasts and fired his own, taking them out, leaving one left which max finished off with a a final blast, the three shielded themselves from the light and looked back to see max land

"Yeah. We bad." Max smirked crossing his arms, which steel mimics, nodding "Uh-huh."

Berto screams, slamming the pad on the floor in frustration, breaking it and walking away in a huff while the other two were shocked

Just then Max's phone which was on the table began ringing, so he picked it up as he walked to the side and answered "Hello?" He grew surprised by the voice on the other line but was happy "Oh. Hi. Really?" He brushed a hand behind his head "Okay..." the two adults were confused while he talked "Okay... Bye." Then hung up

"That wasn't yer mom, was it?" Ferrus asked worried 

"No! That was sarah...From school." Max said "She just asked me out on a date!" And looked at the phone as it started sparking
