Face to face. Emotions revealed. The anguish, hatred, guilt and deep desire for happiness. It's a startling situation. To let down every wall protecting you. Stepping back from the support beams of security. You can see it the sympathy in their eyes. They haven't lived it all the way you have. But, here in front of you a human being attempts to grasp the concept of your suffering. It causes them a great deal of pain themselves.
  It's not comfort I seek. From a  loving embrace. They do not mend wounds of the heart. Rather I seek shelter. For just a moment to catch my breath. But instead you utter the most accurate truths.
