Chapter Thirty-One: Tiny Universe {Doctor Who}

I felt around the Pandorica trying to decide what was inside or what possible could be let out if it does open. But I always came up empty, my mind was elsewhere as I could hear the Doctor talking with River on the device he had, but I wasn't paying attention. The Romans also came down to give us a hand if we needed anything. I was on the other-side of the Pandorica, away from the Doctor's preying eyes. But the memory of him back on Gallifrey just before I left my home-planet and him behind. I thought he was gone too when I heard the news, but as my travels went on I heard rumours and stories about a man called the Doctor, saving people and their planets. I knew straight away it was him...

I whipped out my sonic and began to scan the Pandorica, trying to make little noise as possible. But the readings I got where all the same, that it was opening and it was opening soon. Just then a high-pitched sounded came whining in my ears, making me shoot my hands to my ears, hoping to dampen the noise. But it was full effect, I shoved my sonic into my inner-pocket as I came around the Pandorica. Just in time for it to open up, revealing a bright white light inside. I came to stand next to the Doctor as the high pitch sound went.

"Well, now. Ready to come out, are we?" The Doctor states as whatever was going to be set free.

"Doctor I'm down. I've landed," River's voice echoed from the device as the Doctor puts it to his ear.

"Ok, just walk out of the doors. If there's no one inside, the Tardis engines shut down automatically. Just get out of there," the Doctor told River, I didn't know she could fly a Tardis let alone the Doctors'. "Run!" He yells to her.

"Wait, the cause of the cracks in time is because of your Tardis exploding?" I asked wildly as my eyes shot to him. He nods quickly before going forward, and whipping his sonic out and began to use it. "This is very bad, Doct-" I couldn't finished my sentence as I was grabbed from behind and a hand wrapped around my mouth but the Doctor was oblivious on what happened. I struggled against the Roman's hold as he dragged me back, but other Romans went forward as the Doctor was scanning the Pandorica. He turns just in time to see the Roman's advancing to him.

"Amy!" He yells out but of course she wouldn't be able to hear him. The grab hold of the Doctor quickly as they could and began to drag him, one Roman at each side. "Plastic Romans. Duplicates, driven by the Nestene Consciousness, eh? Deep cover, but what for? What are you doing?" They walked us away from the Pandorica and turned him around he wouldn't see. The Roman that got me used his hands to grab my and tie them behind as I struggled. "What's in there aye? What's coming out?" The Doctor questioned but they didn't answer him, they just spun themselves around to face the Pandorica, but leaving the Doctor with his back too it as I was facing directly at him.

"The Pandorica is ready," the Roman that held the Doctor states.

"What, you mean it's open?" The Doctor questioned.

"You have been scanned. Assessed. Understood," I became stiff as a Dalek's voice rang out, making me turn to the source to see a white Dalek coming forward. "Doctor," just then a teleport activated behind the white Dalek as two more appeared, a red and a yellow one. Had a colour upgrade... The Doctor was allowed to be turned around to face the Daleks, but he struggled against the Roman's hold.

"Scanned?" He questioned, stopping his struggling against the Roman's. "Scanned by what, a box?" He went on as he had no idea what was happening.

"Your limits and capacities have been extrapolated," A Cyberman's voice rang out in the room making us take ours gazes to an incoming teleport as three Cybermen appeared. Then grunts from a Judoon, which had two behind him.

"The Pandorica is ready," a Sontaran states as he and two others in helmets appeared out of no where.

"Ready for what?" The Doctor asks, but I was worried about the answer.

"Ready for you," the white Dalek spoke as my eyes travelled to the Pandorica to see the light inside dimmed, and it was like a holding cell...

"It's a prison," I gasped out in a low tone, as the Doctor began to struggle once again as the Roman's began to drag him closer to the Pandorica. Teleport's were left and right bringing every creature who was in their spaceships into the room. "No," I yelled as I struggled against the Roman's hold. "Doctor!" I cried out, but I was being brought along as well as they moved closer down the way so did I. Within minutes, they reached the Pandorica and strapped him in as it was automated and the claps of the cuffs tied him in. I was brought to the front as the Daleks, Cybermen, Judoon, and the rest crowded around the entrance.

"You lot, working together, an alliance. How is that possible?" The Doctor asks as he was stunned as he thought the day would never come, neither did I.

"The cracks in the skin of the universe," the white Dalek states.

"All reality is threatened," the Sontaran spoke.

"All universes will be deleted," the Cyberman states.

"What? And you've come to me for help?" The Doctor was confused, but I think it was worse than we thought.

"No. We will save the Universe from you!" The Sontaran states.

"From me?" The Doctor asks fully confused now.

"All projections correlate. All evidence concurs. The Doctor will destroy the universe," the Cyberman states as my eyes widen as I struggled against the hold.

"No, no, no. You've got it wrong,"

"The Pandorica was constructed to ensure the safety of the alliance," the Cyberman states.

"A scenario was devised from the memories of your companion," the white Dalek states. All this to trap the Doctor.

"A trap the Doctor could not resist," the Sontaran spoke in his angry tone of voice as they all have.

"The cracks in time are the work of the Doctor. It is confirmed," the white Dalek states.

"No. No, not me, the Tardis. And I'm not in the Tardis, am I?" The Doctor stresses out to them but he wasn't going to reason with them.

"Only the Doctor and one other can pilot the Tardis," the Dalek states as I became still as I see the Doctors face frown in confusion. "All evidence concurs that the woman known as 'Violet' can pilot the Tardis," the Dalek's voice rang out in my ears as my eyes met with the Doctor his expression was soft and serious. But I couldn't look at him, I turned my head away.

"Please listen to me-"

"You will be prevented and Violet exterminated," the Dalek cuts off the Doctor as my eyes widen as I struggled against the Roman.

"Total event collapse. Every sun will supernova at every moment in history. The whole universe will never have existed. Please, listen to me!" He raises his voice pleading his case.

"Listen to him. The universe will die and we along with it," I yell out as I contuined to struggle but it was no use.

"Seal the Pandorica," the Cyberman comes forward clutching his metal hand into a fist.

"No! Please, listen to me! The Tardis is exploding right now and I'm the only one who can stop it. Listen to me!" The Doctor's voice rang out as the Pandorica closes, sealing him shut within.

"Doctor!!" I yelled as the Roman began to drag me away from the Pandorica, my feet dragged in the sand as I was trying to stop myself but it was no use. But the Roman throws me to the ground, making me bang my head on the floor, hard, rendering myself unconscious...

.....................

A blinding light pierced my eyes as I began to stir awake, but I felt soft hands at either side of my head. My eyes peeled open to see a figure looming over me, he was blurry due to my vision, but I blinked slowly to see the Doctor staring down at me with a worried expression.

"Violet are you alright?" The Doctor asks with worry in his voice as he began to help me sit-up.

"Yeah... Wait how are you out?" I asked cocking between the Pandorica and the Doctor. Just then Rory came into view holding a sonic, but I couldn't be mine as it was green. Around me were echos of Dalek's, Roman's, and so on.  The Doctor helped me to stand to my feet, as I was a bit wobbly, but I got my balance back.

"What are they?" Rory asks, his eyes on the echoes.

"History has collapsed. Whole races have been erased from existence," I state to Rory as we all looked at a Dalek, grey and ashy like. "Like after-images... Echoes in time. Footprints of the never-were," I rambled out as I took my haze around the room. "I need a break," I state to the group as I took a deep breath.

"Uh, what does that mean?" Rory asks, confused about my rambling.

"Total event collapse. The universe literally never happened," The Doctor explained it to Rory.

"So how can we be here? What's keeping us safe?"

"Nothing. Eye of the storm, that's all. We're just the last light to go out... Amy," the Doctor states as he turns to look at one of the echoes before turning back around to stare at Rory. "Where's Amy?" The Doctor asks him but he held sadness on his face...

Rory took us up on the surface and we saw a body covered up. The Doctor crouches down and removes the piece of cloth that covered Amy's face, knowing that she was dead.

"I killed her," Rory sounded mortified as I parked myself down on the wooden log, staring at Amy's pale face, she seemed a capable, kind girl.

"Oh, Rory," the Doctor replies as his eyes went back to Amy.

"Doctor, what am I?" Rory asks.

"You're a Nestene duplicate. A lump of plastic with delusions of humanity," Doctor wasn't sugar coating this as he sonics Amy.

"But I'm Rory now," he states in a raised voice, believing he was the man Amy forgot, the man that fell in love with her. "Whatever was happening, it's stopped. I'm Rory!" He was believing himself.

"That's software talking," the Doctor replied drily, flicking his sonic out and examining the data he retrieved.

"Doctor," I warned him as he wasn't being very kind about explaining it.

"Can you help her? Is there anything you can do?" He sounded so heartbroken, but he also had hope in his tone, hope that the Doctor will help.

"Yeah, probably, if I had the time," he replied drily once again, standing to his feet and pocketing the sonic.

"The time!" Rory raises his voice as I was taken back by his answer as well.

"All of creation has just been wiped from the sky. Do you know how many lives now never happened? All the people who never lived?" The Doctor began to explain stepping over Amy's body and walking a bit as Rory followed. "Your girlfriend isn't more important than the whole universe," I couldn't help but hang my mouth in shock as I see Rory grab the Doctor's shoulder, spin him around and right hook him in the jaw.

"She is to me!" He yells at him as the Doctor fell the the floor. The Doctor laughs and got back to his feet in a flash.

"Welcome back, Rory WIlliams!" He states turning back around to face him, stroking his jaw for a moment. "Sorry. Had to be sure. Hell of a gun-arm you're packing there... Right we need to get her downstairs. And take that look off your plastic face. You're getting married in the morning," the Doctor states as he steps back over to Amy and began to lift her up with the help of Rory...

We managed to get Amy downstairs and into the Pandorica, fitting her in as it would be able to keep her alive.

"So, you've got a plan, then?" Rory asks at the entrance of the Pandorica.

"Bit of a plan, yeah. Memory's more powerful than you think, and Amy Pond is not an ordinary girl. Grew up with a time-crack in her wall, the universe pouring through her dreams every night. The Nestenes took a memory print of her and got a bit more than they bargained for," The Doctor placed his hands on her head, his thumbs resting on her pale cheeks. "Like you. Not just your face, but your heart and your soul," he explained to Rory. "I'm leaving her a message for when she wakes up so she knows what's happening," he sates before finishing up and stepping out of the Pandorica while grabbing his sonic and zapping at it as the doors closed.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. What are you doing?" Rory asks, not sure what the Doctor was doing.

"I'm saving her. This box is the ultimate prison. You can't even escape by dying. It forces you to stay alive," the Doctor states to Rory eyes locked on one another.

"But she's already dead," Rory replied back.

"She's mostly dead, the Pandorica can stasis-lock her that way. And all it will need now is a scan of her living DNA and it will restore her," I announced to the group but mainly Rory.

"Where's it gonna get that?" Rory asks, the Doctor flicks his left wrist out and up to stare at the golden watch he was wearing.

"In about two-thousand years," the Doctor states as he was about right there. I have my Vortex manipulator now, so I could be there and help Amy when she comes out. I began to type on the VM panel as I was setting the date. The Universe was tiny now, so using the Vortex wouldn't hurt.

"See you there Doctor," I state as I pressed the VM, as it zapped me away and into the future. I couldn't bare to talk to him right now, not after what happened. I just couldn't...
