Hello! Hi! Good morrow and all that jazz! It's a pleasure for me to know that my chapter is being read by future generations of the Butterfly family. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Matthew Butterfly-Diaz. Son of Star Butterfly and Marco Diaz. You probably know about them. They kinda......well......destroyed magic. So I bet you're wondering why I would be writing in a spellbook if there's no magic to cast any spells with. 

Well it's because the magic came back! Nobody's been able to explain it but all of a sudden magic just started flowing through the Earth-ni Well again and Meteora, Eclipsa, my mom, and grandma had their cheekmarks back and could do magic again. Glossaryck is currently a no-show so all we have is this book. Also the wand is back! It washed up from the Earth-ni Well with a brand-new millhorse in it. She's currently still running it but the thing is she doesn't like to be seen in pictures or IRL so I can't show here. But I can tell you that her name is [Redacted]. (Note: Never mind I can't write her name. I can say it but I can't write it). Sorry the mysteries I don't mean for them it just happens.

Anyway onto my wand. It's shaped like a parasol. Just like Aunt Eclipsa's! But mine is a bit more fitting for an actor like myself. The charger is powered by my own imaginative thinking. The power of my mind is what makes the magic of my wand work. Which might be one of the reasons why I have to rely on my wand more than my brothers do.

Oh right! I almost completely forgot to mention my brothers! You see we're a trio. Triplets actually. The oldest of us being my brother Tauros. He's a cool guy who does cool things. He was actually supposed to have the wand instead of me and he did have it........until he disappeared leaving behind a note and entrusting the wand to me. I can't help but think that he gave me the wand because he knew that I most likely won't be able to do magic without it.

Then there's the youngest of our trio. My little brother Aquario! He's pretty serious for our age and super powerful. Ever since we were kids he's been able to do magic without the wand. Meaning so far it's just been me that's had to wield the wand to do magic. But he's kinda the opposite of me. Super powerful but really unimaginative. He can cast powerful spells but those spells are all either mom's spells or other spells from the book. It makes me laugh really. Recently he hasn't been home much using a spell I crafted, as usual, to not have to use Dimensional Scissors to travel across dimensions where he and his boyfriend Leo go to do some weird couple stuff or whatever. I don't pry. Because I'm a good brother.

Anyway what was I saying. Oh yeah my family! The family I have is amazing and I wouldn't trade them for the world. But I also have other family across the MULTIVERSE! Yeah that's right. The multiverse is real and I have family all over it. Siblings, half-siblings, friends, etc. Just to name a few there are a few of my sisters the two Lunas, Aurora, Elizabeth, Cressida, and Vein. I love those girls to death. Whenever I go visit their universes with the help of Omnitraxus 2.0's Multiversal Scissors he gave all of us I tend to stay with one of the Lunas or Vein. Don't tell Aurora, Lizzie, or Cressie this but the Lunas and Vein are my favorite of my sisters from other universes. Then there's a half-brother I visit all the time when I just need to blow off some steam and blow crap up. His name is Rigel. In his universe he's the son of our mom Star Butterfly and his dad Tom Lucitor. Here in my universe I just call him Uncle Tom. Also one thing I have in common with one of the Lunas is that in my universe Uncle Tom married Aunt Jackie and had a son. Though he's kind of taboo to talk about because he's Aquario's ex-bf.

Anyways. Yeah that's a little about me and my life as the new owner of the book. I can't wait to share my life and spells with all of you future generations of the family who'll own this book. Speaking of which for every entry I make in this book I'm gonna try and add one spell. So here's the first of Matt's Mystical Theatrical Multipurpose Magic Spells.

(Note from Aquario: Say that five times fast)

Shut up! Anyways. For my first spell I shall be sharing one of my favorites to use in combat and on the stage. Because as the title of my magic suggests my spells are multipurpose. This first one is called Spotlight Blast.

To cast Spotlight Blast you just need to point your wand at your opponent and shout "Spotlight Blast!" with the intention of attacking and a beam of golden light will fire at your opponent knocking them back. But if you want to use it on stage when the lights go out and won't turn back on instead of focusing on attacking you just need to focus on lighting a given space. Also do be careful with this spell. If you lose focus on your intention it could backfire and do the opposite of what you want. And with that I will leave you for now.
