You know what I always loved about writing? It's that you aren't given any limitations. You're not stopped by anyone from writing what you want, when you want, and about what you want. You get to weave your own fabric of reality, your fingertips sewing the thread of your world with the assistance of your keyboard. It's all so surreal and amazing, you can't help but feel proud of what you've made. Like Duel of the DJs. That whole series was a ride to make, from going into that nightclub to the Double Omega Blitz. I just loved imagining the swirling colors of the Shaded Realm, the music and sounds emanating from the speakers. All the synth and vaporwave details, the rising skyscrapers, the Citadel's beams of light, Matt's emotions driving him to victory... I just loved making that series. It brings a tear to my eyes looking back at my work. I think I went with the best routes of where the story would go, each book's ending and chapters... Even if I did have a few holds, I was still able to push through with enough ideas. I loved using the characters, how I've developed them over the past two years. It's all just... I love it. That's all I wanted to say. I love writing.
