Do they just never learn?

"Team, be the most careful you can. This person has killed multiple of our operatives, and one refused to continue after seeing their partner die. Work together and take him out."

I woke up to the sound of radio chatter. Another one? Really? I just picked up my shades, put them on, and left the bedroom. When I was going downstairs, I felt a presence behind me as I stepped down the stairs. I turned around, and found an Octoling trying to shade me. Wow. I grabbed him, but before I could do anything to him, another dragged me down the stairs, and two more came rushing over. The three kept me pinnrd down, while the one from before got too close for comfort as he tried to put the shades on my face.

However, my regular shades fully charged, and I used the built in lasers to fry his hand. I dashed forward and escaped the other three, and grabbed a knife from my knife block. It looked like my cleaver, so I used it on them. Stabbed the first one in the head, then threw it at the second one's throat. The third one had picked up his buddy's gun, and pointed it at me. "Stay right where you are, or I'll shoot!" He told me. I didn't listen and dashed for him. He shot the gun, but missed, so I grabbed him, dragged him to the window, and threw him out like that other guy from a few days ago. The first guy, the one who's hand I fried, fell to his back, and crawled away while muttering. He ran out the door and shut it behind him. "Amateurs." I muttered to myself, before looking at the bodies under me. I dragged them both to the incinerator in my laundry room, took the knife out of the second body, and threw them both in the fire. I spent the next hour mopping the blood from the floor, and went back to sleep.

If this keeps up, I'm not gonna be able to fend for myself. Talos help me when I get shaded...
