Chapter Twenty
The Middle of nowhere, thats fun

3rd Person POV

they sat in the container as the boat moved and amelia leaned against the wall. she started to sweat and so she took off her sweatshirt as kiara stared at her in amusement

" nice work , john b. you know these things lock from the outside, right?" JJ complained

" OK, I was just trying to get us on the boat, JJ. I wasn't thinking that far ahead." John b spoke and JJ started to interrupt him

" It's hot" kiara spoke as she removed her jacket and amelia nodded as she swiped the sweat off of her forehead. she ignored pope and JJ fighting until kiara spoke

"pope since when do we fight?" Amelia said and pope nodded slowly

"let's try to find a way out of here" Pope said and amelia hopped down from the crate as she started to look around with pope but they didn't find anything so they sat back down in annoyance JJ started to talk about guns and killing

"jesus jj you lost me" amelia said and she got up as she walked away. kiara came with her and she started to move stuff around as Amelia stated in shock, her girlfriend was a genius

"guys! guys!" kiara called but they didn't listen

"hey dumbasses kiaras got something now get over here" amelia stated and she watched as they all listened and walked over to the them, she stepped closer to kiara as they all looked at the vent

"can we fit through that, yeah?" kiara asked them and amelia smiled in pride

"of course we fucking can" she exclaimed and JJ held up his knife

"what was that about a swiss army knife not coming in handy?" he asked in ignorance and amelia scoffed

"screw that i got this" she said and she climbed up as she kicked the vent off with ease and they all stared in surprise

"how did you?...." pope led off and amelia smiled at them

"i beat rafes ass a lot and soccer at the kook academy" she said and she put her head out of the vent as she looked around

"coast is clear, you guys go" she exclaimed and she hopped down from the crate

"you're not going?" pope asked and she shook her head

"they already have sarah, they can't get me too. you three be safe though" she said and she watched as jj , pope and john b called out of the vent and left the girls

kiara closed the vent back up and turned to amelia

"it's just us" kiara said and she hopped down from the crate as she sat next to amelia on the ground, amelia took the hair elastic off of her wrist as she put her hair up and kiara stared stunned. she had always noticed how beautiful her girlfriend was but right now, in this exact moment amelia was everything and anything she saw

"what?" amelia asked when she made eye contact with kiara and smiled

"nothing, you just... have I ever told you how beautiful you are?" kiara questioned and amelia blushed

"I don't think you have kie but it is a nice thing, you are too Kiara. i see you as my own personal goddess" she exclaimed and Kiara rubbed her thumb against her cheek and they leaned in as they kissed each other slowly, the heat was unbearable but they enjoyed this. they were in a stuffy container on a boat where they could die but it was them. Kiara and amelia in the container kissing each other that was until pope, JJ, and john b came back, however someone came in behind them

"john b who the hell is this?" Amelia asked as she held Kiara's hand close to her

"just relax, I told you I had a surprise," John b said and he helped Cleo into the container as Kiara kept asking who she was

" remember I told you about the girl we met in the Bahamas who saved us?" John b asked lia and Kiara

"yeah Cleo I remember" amelia exclaimed

"Cleo, shes going to help us" John b introduced

"oh thank god I miss my sister already" Amelia spoke and she made eye contact with Cleo

"your Sarahs sister? amelia ,right. she talked about you a lot, said you were brave and smart and knew how to swing a bat" Cleo stated and Amelia stated

" guys I tried to get weapons but I got attacked , we couldn't do anything" John b exclaimed

"so let me get this straight , you five with no weapons decided you we're going to hijack this tramp steamer on your own?" cleo asked

"all I have is my pocket knife is my boot and the one in my belt" Amelia said

"I guess we have to wait until we get to port, at leas then, if something goes wrong, we have a place to run" Kiara said

"no, we cant do that. I've run this scenario over a thousand times in my head and our best chances are on this ship. there's 15 crew members and 6 of us"Pope started

"yeah not the best chances" amelia agreed

"yeah three-to-one odds, that's the best thing it'll get. we wait till we get there, they'll trap us" Pope said and John b spoke

"there's something else, wards alive," John b said and Amelia stumbled back as Kiara tried to help stable her as they looked at her, pope stared at his best friend in sadness. this was all too much for her and he could tell

"he's alive and he's on this boat," John b said and Amelia stopped listening, she didn't notice the stares or the noise until pope rubbed her shoulder and she looked at him

" lia?" pope said and she shook her head

" I can't do this, you guys go out there, ill follow after in a while but I just... I need to think, I need some time" she said and they nodded as they heard someone talking outside but Cleo left and stopped them

"pope go, ill find you guys later" she exclaimed and she watched as they all climbed out of the container

"Amelia?" Kiara asked and she looked at her

"yeah?" she whispered and kiara wrapped her arms around her softly , she held her and then she left leaving amelia. she leaned against the wall of the container and stared at the ceiling all she could think about was rafe, ward, sarah, wheezie and rose. they weren't her family, only sarah and wheezie and she needed to do this

she played with her rings and sighed again

"come on amelia, save them" she said and she climbed out of the container as she was hit with the sun and she looked around, she continued to walk around until she looked over the edge and there was sarah with ward and she stared in annoyance

she didn't notice kiara to jj not being there, she also didn't notice that she had hopped over the edge and was now staring at her father as he stared at her

"amelia baby, you are here, you're safe" and he went to grab her face but she swung on him and punched him in the face

"fuck you dad, you only ever treated me like shit, I deserved better, wheezie deserves better, sarah deserves better, my own fucking mother deserves better. i will never forgive you for being a homophobic shitty piece of shit. don't you ever lay a hand on me or my sister ever again" She said and sarah stared at her as did ward

"amelia you don't mean that" he tried and she laughed in anger

"but I do mean that, I really really fucking mean it" she said and he hit sarah as he then hit amelia and john b came running over to them

"I know you did not just fucking do that" amelia said and she finally swung over and over again, ward fell to the ground , blood flowing from his nose as john b and sarah stared in bewilderment

"fuck you ward, fuck you" she exclaimed and she knocked him out as his head hit the edge of the boat and she stared as she stared at the boat and looked at john b and sarah

"now you know how john bs dad felt" she whispered and she stood up again as she turned to them and shrugged

"lets go" she exclaimed and she jumped into the water and then into the life boat and they came after her. she started the boat and they quickly rode the boat to pope and cleo, amelia helped pope in and then she helped cleo before she looked around and noticed that kie and jj weren't there

"Im finding kie" she said and she hopped out of the boat as she swam around and found them

"KIARA!" She cried and kiara turned to her

"where are the others?" kiara asked as amelia looked at JJ who was knocked out in her arms

"On the lifeboat, I got jj lets go" she exclaimed as she took jj and met up with the others on the boat, they looked at them and rode up next to them

"get jj and kie, get jj and kie" amelia said and they helped them in,they droge away but the engine started to sputter and amelia looked up to see rafe with a gun

"we have to go john b now" amelia said and the engine started again as they drove away. amelia and the others stared at him

"come on j come on" amelia said and jj woke back up as he coughed up the water

"you attention whore" amelia said and he smiled at her as they shoved each others shoulders and they looked back at the boat

"this isn't over, it wont be over for a while" she exclaimed and they all nodded in agreement, they continued to drive until they got to a small island and amelia got off with kiara, sarah and cleo. they sat down as the boys pulled the boat onto the island

"good job, I'm so proud" amelia called and pope flipped her off jokingly

"J you okay?" she asked

"just a little dizzy, does anybody know where we are at?" he questioned and pope spoke

"deserted beach. unknown island" Pope exclaimed

"so basically the middle of nowhere, that's fun" amelia stated and kiara chuckled under her breathe

"this is the lowest we can go, we literally have nothing else to lose. the cross, gone. the gold, gone" Pope said and sarah finished

"this is my friends and lovely girlfriend Is what i call the never ending circle" Amelia stated and kiara grabbed her hand

"you guys are right but we've had some good stuff happen" John b exclaimed

"like what?" amelia questioned

"like you and kiara, the boiler room, me and sarah, pope, you're related to denmark tanny but guys this is the pogue life. we are in the Caribbean. its our own little slice of paradise. with mu best friends, my family. i dotn know wouldn't want to do it with anyone else and while you guys were complaining, i was looking at those burly laps" John b said and he started to talk to them about surfing but amelia zoned out

"poguelandia, i claim thee poguelandia, i like the ring of it. I'm gonna make a flag. its gonna have a chicken on it , with a coconut bra smoking a j in crocs" JJ said

"beautiful idea jj truly" amelia said and she stood up with kiara as she wrapped her arm around her and they started to walk. amelia missed wheezie but maybe this was good. she wouldn't know that though and not for a while

she was confused but she had her girlfriend and that was enough to her.
