Chapter Sixteen
He's Dead

3rd Person POV

amelia woke up with kiara holding her and the sun shining through the windows of the surf shop. she got up out of bed and went to the bathroom, she washed her hands of rafes blood before she looked up to the loft and saw kiara still sleeping. amelia changed her clothes and smiled. she felt like herself again after everything, the day before, she felt safe with kiara and at home.

she lit a candle and opened the shop, she cleaned the windows and the counters, kiara walked down and she looked at amelia

"You sleep well?" Kiara asked her and amelia nodded at her with a smile

"you make me feel better, rates blood is off my hands now," she said and she wiggled her fingers with a smile before they got a call and answered it

"john bs you coming?" Kiara asked and Amelia shook her head

"gonna stay here, need to start donating again and getting my money, have fun though kie" Amelia said and Kiara kissed her before she left the surf shop. 30 minutes later, she got a call and she answered it

"Hello?" she asked

"JOHN BS OUT OF THE CAN LI" JJ yelled into the phone and she pulled it away from her ear

"HOLY SHIT THATS INSANE" She yelled back and she heard them all laugh at what she said

"where are you lia?" pope asked as he took the phone from JJ and she looked around

"at the shop, hasn't been opened in a while and I needed it to be. wanted to feel normal for a little bit , come here if you need me" She said and Pope sighed

"we'll be there soon Lia" Pope said and she nodded into the phone

"okay bye I love you guys" she said and the call ended. people walked in and looked around. Catalina walked in and looked at her

"hey cat" amelia called and Catalina smiled

"hey lia, heard about you and kiara im happy for you two" Catalina said and Amelia smiled at her

"she is your ex-girlfriend cat, its okay if you arent okay with it" Amelia said and Cat chuckled

" I am okay with it and besides Olivia is my girlfriend now so I hope this is okay" she spoke and amelia nodded

"thank you cat, you want a bracelet or something?" she asked breaking the silence and catalina nodded

"yeah me and liv love your bracelets" Catalina said and she bought two before she left the surf shop and looked up and saw the group

"they jumped my dad" Pope said and amelia scoffed

"who jumped your dad?" Amelia asked

"limbrey and her lap dog" JJ said and she sighed as she ran a hand through her hair and they looked around the shop

"so what are we doing about it?" amelia questioned and she looked at kiara who was wearing her shirt.

" you have to stay here and work, we'll leave kiara here with you but we have to go and figure this out" John b said

"is that okay with you two?" sarah asked amelia and kiara

"yeah of course" they said at the same time and they soon watched as the others left the shop and kiara looked around

"I found some pebbles for your bracelets" Kiara exclaimed as she pulled the pebbles out of her shorts pocket. amelia took them and she smiled as she kissed kiaras cheek as amelia turned on the radio and they listened to it with a smile on their faces. kiara spun amelia around and they danced together

they waited for a call or a text but they didn't get it, not a thing. 4 hours later, they had finally gotten a call and they looked at their phones. amelia was locking up the store after most of the products sold out. she cleaned the counters and windows again before she turned the lights off and locked the doors as they left

they finally looked at their texts and there was a lone text from john b

'rafe is being arrested and so is ward, your house now' the text read and amelia looked at kiara and they held eye contact

"lets go" amelia said and she got in the car with kiara as they drove to the cameron household and looked around. it was covered in cops and the FBI. Amelia looked at kiara and then at her house

"I need to find wheezie and now" Amelia said and she parked the car on the outside before she got out with kiara and she hopped the stonewall, kiara came after her and amelia ran to the house

"WHEEZIE" she yelled and wheezie came running to her

"amelia whats wrong? whats happening? whats going on?" wheezie asked and amelia knelt down as she held her sisters face

" they're getting rafe wheezie, you remember what I told you about him killing peterkin, they have proof, evidence wheeze. The cops are trying to get dad and rafe. I want you to stay inside and not do anything. I will come back for you. I'm not leaving you here" amelia stated and Wheezie nodded as Amelia kissed her forehead and then let go of wheezie

"go to your room wheezie, I love you" Amelia said and she nodded as wheezie turned around and looked at amelia

"I love you too" Wheezie said and she walked up the stairs. Amelia walked outside and ran to the dock, she was met with shoupe and the others already on the dock

"let her through, this is amelia cameron let her through to her sister" Shoupe called and they made an opening as amelia ran to them and kiara grabbed her hand

"is wheezie okay?" Kiara asked and amelia nodded

"yeah shes in her room safe" Amelia said and she looked up to see her dad on the highest level of the boat

"Amelia?" he called to her but she wouldn't look at him, she wouldn't give him the pleasure of seeing her eyes or her reaction. Kiara squeezed her hand and amelia nodded at Kiara, pope looked at amelia. he was worried for his best friend in every way

"dad! what are you doing?" sarah called out in fear

"vic, you gotta get her and amelia out of here! they cant be here right now!" Ward yelled at shoupe

"just come on in, and you... you can talk to them!" Shoupe yelled

"Girls I'm so sorry" Ward called and he started to lift the anchor

"ward, this ain't gonna end the way you want it to! you don't need them seeing this" Shoupe yelled and with that, the boat blew up, ward inside. sarah fell back into amelia and amelia didn't feel anything. she held sarah and let her cry

"DAD! DAD" Sarah cried out and Amelia felt tears down her face. She looked at kiara and put her head into her shoulder as she cried softly. Kiara wrapped an arm around amelia and held her.

wards dead. he's dead and amelia didn't feel anything. he's dead
