I miss my sister

3rd Person POV

it hadn't been long since everything happened. here amelia stood holding kiaras hand as jj burned john bs initials onto the tree. kiara held the box of things and amelia thought about her sister. they lifted the beer and drank it. amelia held kiaras hand as she watched

"to john b" jj said

"and sarah, i miss my sister" amelia said and they drank their beers together as they buried john bs things. amelia held kiara close to her and let her cry

a few days later, amelia was at her house and watched as her girlfriend spray-painted the front

"MURDERERS" kiara yelled and amelia snuck out of her window as she got on the boat with them and looked at kiara

"you have fun vandalizing my house don't ya?" amelia said and kiara sighed

"only traumatizing your brother and father" She said and amelia sighed

"i get it okay i completely understand but my brother is a psychopath and he could come after you guys" amelia said

"let him try lia, you have my back" Kiara said and amelia kissed her girlfriend as pope looked away

"of course i do but rafe is crazy and sucks" she whispered and kiara kissed her again. a few days later, it was the beginning of school. they drove to school and got out

"hey, chill out" kiara said to jj and they walked out of the car. amelia had transferred after being kicked from the kook academy. they looked at john bs stone and then around

"i feel like people are staring" kiara said and amelia agreed

"oh yeah" jj said

"obviously" amelia noted

"hey we gotta stick together" kiara said and they walked into the school together. they went to class and listened to the lesson before their phones buzzed and went off

amelia opened her phone with her girlfriend send jj came over to them as they opened the chat and saw a picture of john b with sarah

"oh my god" kiara said and amelia ran out after jj with kiara and pope

"we can go to courtyard" kiara said and they ran to the courtyard kiara ranting

" I mean is that even possible. I mean, she said that they didn't make it. He said that" Kiara exclaimed

" Yeah but that picture obviously shows that they aren't dead" Amelia stated

" OK, but I think we're overreacting because we can't rule out the possibility that this cannot be some kind of weird, cool hoax" pope said

" Hey this is my sister let me get my hopes up for just a second pope" amelia said as she looked at the texts

" I'm just gonna ask" kiara said as she sat down next to amelia

" What if it's actually him, though?" JJ said as he rubbed his chest and paced back and forth

" Then I don't know, OK? I don't know" pope said and kiara texted back in the group chat

" It's him" JJ said and kiara hugged amelia

"it's him" kiara said

"it's definitely him" pope said and they hugged each other. amelia hugged kiara

" Laying super low in Nassau. How the hell did they get to the Bahamas?" kiara said and they all smiled at each as they hugged again

"THEYRE ALIVE HOLY SHIT THEYRE ALIVE" amelia yelled and she hugged jj as he held her tight. they left the school and went to the wreck

" i never doubted them" JJ exclaimed

"i owe you five bucks" Kiara told jj and amelia smiled

"i don't" Amelia said and she looked at anna

" Kiara, I need those set ups done by five" anna called to them

" There are other people that work here" kiara called back as they walked to the hang stop on the dock

" None of them my children" anna called and amelia laughed as they sat down

" I feel that. On a deep, emotional level, I understand that" Pope said as they sat down and amelia sat next to kiara holding her hand

" So we're going to the Bahamas or what?" JJ asked them

" There's no way we're getting to the Bahamas" Pope exclaimed

" John b is going to get nabbed sooner or later. So if we're going to clear his name we need to have it done yesterday" Kiara said

" OK I have a plan" amelia said

" and the plan is?" pope asked her

" Look Sarah's material witness but she's gone however we saw words playing fly right over heads or the gold inside of it. He didn't fly, if somebody did flyer then they saw Peterkin get murdered. We find out whoever that was and get them to confess it on tape that they saw rafe" Amelia explained

" Amelia you're a fucking genius" JJ said and she high-fived him

" OK but how do we do that?" kiara asked and amelia looked at pope

" A little late espionage. A little ghost recon. woogity-woogity?" pope said as he wiggled his fingers

"woogity, baby" jj said and they drove to the man's house

" If this guy flew planes for Ward, he's going to be pretty tightlipped" Pope said

" he is, he never told my dad or rafe that i snuck out" Amelia spoke and they turned to her

"snuck out?" Pope asked

"ever saturday night i would sneak out and he would never say anything" amelia said

" Whatever then I say direct approach gets my vote" JJ said as he held up the gun

" OK no put the gun down" amelia said

" we Got to keep this simple, we're never get John B. off." JJ stated

" Or we just took the wire. Basically I plant my phone in his car, and we listening on your AirPods. Say something" Pope said to amelia

"fuck" amelia said and the phone played it back

" OK, we have audio. I think that's his house over there. All right honk Or uh yell or something if you see anything suspicious" Pope said and he got out of the car as they watched him walk away

" so you two what's to with that?" jj spoke as pope walked away

"we're girlfriends?" amelia said and kiara nodded

"girlfriends yeah" kiara exclaimed and JJ smiled at the two of them as amelia smiled at her. she leaned in and kissed kiara softly

"great i just love third wheeling" JJ said and amelia's smiled as she pulled away and waited for pope to come back. she held kiara band and pope came running back

" phase 1 is complete. Is everything good?" Pope asked as he hopped in the backseat with jj. they then drove away before going back and hiding

" Should I do an accent?" kiara asked as she stared at the phone

" Definitely disguise your voice" pope said

" Actually wait I got this" amelia said and she grabbed the phone from kiara as she called

" Hello?" the man answered

"hello" amelia said in a manly voice shocking them

" Is Gavin there?" she asked

" This is Gavin who is this? hello?" he responded

" I know what happened on the tarmac" Amelia said as she continued to talk

" Who is this?" Gavin asked

" It was Rafe Cameron but you already know that don't you gavin and you lied about it" amelia said

" OK who is this?" he continued

" I have proof and we're gonna prove it" amelia stated

" You're gonna tell me who this is now" gavin pushed

" You could've saved her, Gavin, and you didn't. And you're not getting away with this" Kiara exclaimed as she took the phone from amelia's hand

" Who is this?" he asked and amelia ended the call

" How was that?" Amelia asked them

" Yeah, yeah. I was scared. Good job" JJ said and she high-fived him

" All right. We took out the water. phase two complete now we wait and listen" Pope said and they listened in for the rest of the night

gavin got in his car and drove away

" He didn't see us" Pope said

" And now we go" amelia said and she drove after gavin listening as he called ward

" He's talking to ward" Pope exclaimed and amelia scoffed

" Well that's adorable" amelia sajd

" He's talking about negotiating something renegotiating" pope explained

" Gavin's got the gun that refused to kill Peterkin Holy shit. I think he's trying to use it Extortion, as leverage" Pope continued

"yay" amelia said and she watched as gavin pulled over

" Shit. He's panicking" Pope said

" I'm gonna drive around the block hang on" amelia said and she gunned the car as she drove away

"I'm losing the signal" Pope said and they looked at the end of the road

" Just stop and turn around now pull in here and back up" JJ said and they jumped out of the car

" You guys go I'll meet you on the other end" amelia said and she watched them run away

amelia stayed in the car and waited for them to move. the site moved and amelia met them around

" He's going to the construction site we have to go now" pope said

" Let's go then" amelia said and she let him hope in before they drove to the construction site

she only hoped she wouldn't see something worse than her brother killing someone

this was only getting worse
