Perks Of Being A Cameron

3rd Person POV

in the morning, amelia woke up to a text from pope and she looked at wheezie on her chest as she opened her text and she opened the text

'jj is in jail and it's not his fault, i need to talk to you' she read and she moved wheezie off of her chest. she changed her clothes and put her shoes on. she kept her door locked and snuck throughout her window

she got on her bike and rode to popes work. she got out and looked at pope. he walked over and hugged. she hugged him back and let him cry to her

"i know it's okay" she said as she walked into the shop and held him. heyward nodded at her and she nodded back

"will you be at midsummers?" pope asked her

"i have to, perks of being a cameron" she exclaimed and he nodded against her shoulder

" i have to work but i'll be there. thank you for coming lia" he stated and she nodded

"anytime, i do have to head home and get ready though" she explained and he nodded

"be safe lia, rafe is crazy and he lives with you" Pope said and she nodded

"i know and you too" she said and she walked out of the shop as she got on her bike and rode home. she went through her window, the ladder helping climb up

she snuck in and saw the door open, no rafe or wheezie. amelia got dressed and she called kiara

" i hate this" is what she started off with saying and kiara laughed

"yeah me too but at least you look good" kiara said and she smiled at her

"thank you kie, i'll see you there right?" Amelia exclaimed

"yeah i'll be with my parents" she said and sarah walked in

" i have to go bye kie" she stated and sarah sat on her bed

"have i ever said how much i hate this?" sarah said and amelia smiled at her sister

"not really no but i completely agree, we have to go though" she said and she put on her jewelry as she and sarah walked out of the room and went to the car

they got there and amelia went to kiara and pope

"thank god you guys are here, i already want to leave" Amelia told them

"i couldn't agree more, you ever seen so many kooks in one place?" kiara asked them

"last year, at midsummer's" Amelia exclaimed

"we're in the lions den" Kiara said

"and this is why you stick with me. perks of being a cameron and the daughter of ward" Amelia told them and she watched her family walk in together

"she almost poked my eye out with that this morning" Amelia said and she made eye contact with rafe and sighed

" are you okay?" kiara asked as she grabbed her hand and a song played. kiara led her to the dance floor and smiled as she leaned her head against amelia's chest and danced together

rafe watched with fire in his eyes but pope and sarah watched as they smiled at the two of them.

" i'm happy you're here" Kiara said and amelia smiled

"i'm happy to be here with you kiara" Amelia whispered and kiara kissed her cheek as they continued to dance, the song changed and kiara was spun into another girl as sarah grbabed her and they danced

amelia looked at kiara and pulled her back as they continued and then rafe grabbed jj. amelia pulled kiara away from the scene and away from her brother

"amelia what's wrong?" kiara asked and amelia pulled her

" i can't be near him, kiara rafe is unexpected and he scares me. i hate this" Amelia said and kiara nodded as they went to kiaras parents

"hi mr.carrera, mrs. carrera" Amelia said and they smiled at her

"hi amelia, how are you?" they asked and she smiled as they looked at her and kiaras hands questionably

"i'm good how are you?" she asked and they smiled

"we're good amelia, it's good to see you" Anna said and they watched jj be led out of the club

"JJ, HEY LET GO OF HIM" amelia and kiara yelled together

"Amelia don't" Rose said to her

" We invited him here. We are members of this club" Kiara said pointing to amelia and herself as jj pushed away from him

"pope, kie, amelia, rixons cove . let's go" JJ said and Amelia looked confused but she ran with kiara and pope. they got to rixons cove and looked at amelia

" So why am I here?" amelia asked

" Well your sister's already involved so" JJ said

"sarah's involved? you let a kook i don't like into our secret? what about t-shirt company bro? what about pogue life?" Kiara asked

"wait a minute are you macking on my sister?" amelia asked

"oh this is good" JJ said

" i was just using her for information. Look I'm trying to make us Philthy Rich here. OK, so that we can pay off the boat, or send you to autopsy school To study dead bodies. Look you guys know me, do I look like the type of person to fall for Sarah Cameron?" John b ranted

"she's my sister and i'm going to say yes" Amelia

"why did you come?" john b asked

" JJ invited me here which I don't even know why but if this is some treasure hunt I need to know" Amelia said

" kiara are you OK with her knowing?" john b asked her

" Of course I'm OK with her know and she didn't even do anything wrong" Kiara said

" This is this is about the royal merchant your sister took me to Chapel Hill and helped me find some stuff. When my dad died or didn't die he was looking for the royal merchant I need to do this for him and we trust you so you're involved" john b said

" Great that's great so what's the plan?" Amelia asked

"your sister is meeting me at the hawks nest tonight, she's giving me a plot map of tannyhill, and the gold is supposed to be there" John b said

"okay she didn't have to know about the gold part" JJ said

" JJ usually any money I get at the shop goes to charities I have enough of my own money I don't need gold OK I'm a kook" Amelia said

" So we're going to drive to the Hawks nest and john bs going to meet up with Sarah and get the plot map" Pope said and she nodded

" All right well then let's go" she said and they got in the twinkie and drove to the hawks nest and they al went to get out but john b stopped them

" I think I'm going to do this one by myself... Tonight" John b said

" really?" JJ said

" OK yeah just go meet my sister" Amelia said

" I just don't wanna scare Sarah with the peanut gallery" john b exclaimed

" I just don't understand why were involving her at all" Kiara announced

" OK so let's talk about involving Amelia" john b said

" Wow John B. really thankful that I'm here right now" amelia said

" OK promise me, nothings happening between you two" Kiara said

" Yeah as much as I don't like topper this is what you're doing John B. it's bad" Amelia stated

" Nothing is happening you two" John b told them

"I'm being serious, this isnt about you, and this isn't about us. This is about her. Dude, she's going to get inside your head. Just promise me nothings happening between you guys at all" Kiara stated

" I promise" john b stated

" Yeah go meet my sister that was so believable John b" She Said And john b left the twinkie

" Look I don't like topper but I do feel bad" Amelia said

" Honestly me too this is wrong of him" Kiara said

" Kiara, holding onto your grudge is like drinking poison and thinking Sarah will die" Pope told kiara and Amelia sighed

" She has a reason to be mad but I know Sarah is my sister but her doing this is wrong and what she did to kiara is wrong" Amelia stated

" But what did she do?" JJ asked

" When kiara is ready to tell you she will I'm not gonna say anything" Amelia exclaimed and kiara smiled at her as they continued to talk. 5 minutes later, they heard screaming and got out of the car

"that's sarah" Amelia exclaimed and they ran to the yelling

"sarah what happened? what happened?" Amelia said and she pulled out her phone as she called the ambulance

" He needs help. Topper shoved him" Sarah said

" Where the hell is topper?" JJ asked , they watched as sarah leaned in and kissed john b

kiara grabbed amelia's hand and amelia squeezed. she felt kiaras betrayal and she hated it

she only ever wanted to protect them and she couldn't even do that
