Chapter Three
It's Wrong

3rd Person POV

lia woke up after 2 hours and she looked around. she noticed the pictures of pope, jj, john b , kiara and her on kiaras wall. she noticed that kiara was gone and she sighed. she laid down and stared at the ceiling

only then had she fallen asleep again. the next morning she woke up and looked at her phone. she saw the missed calls form wheezie, sarah, ward, rose and rafe. she sighed as she also read the texts from wheezie and sarah

she got up out of kiaras bed and changed into a pair of kiara shorts and kiaras sweatshirt. she snuck out and got her bike out of kiaras car. she rode it home and when she got there, she snuck in but there was rafe on her bed

"where were you?" rafe asked and she jumped

"jesus rafe" she said avoiding the question

"where were you?" he pushed

"does it matter?" she asked him

"of course it matters" he stated as he stood up and she backed away from him

"why?" she asked, she knew how he felt , she knew what he thought and she was scared of her brother

"because if you were out doing what you do, you know it's wrong" he exclaimed, he wouldn't ever say that she was a lesbian. he wouldn't ever accept it

"doing what? being myself?" she asked

"liking girls lia , it's wrong and you know it's wrong" he said and she threw her hands up

"but it's not rafe , you like girls! what's the difference?" she questioned him

"you're a girl amelia you can't like girls. it's wrong" he pushed

"you will never love me will you? you will never accept this" she cried

"you will never be my sister amelia, you have never been my sister" he said and he walked out. she sat down on her bed and she stared at the floor

she felt arms wrapping around her and she cried to them. wheezie held her and she sniffled

"are you okay?" wheezie whispered and she shook her head

"i don't think so wheeze, no" she said and wheezie held her closely

"i heard what he said, you like girls?" wheezie questioned and amelia chuckled softly

"yeah yeah i do , i'm a lesbian wheezie and i should've told you" and wheezie shrugged

"you needed time, i understand thank you for telling me" wheezie said and amelia sighed as she leaned her head against wheezie. they held each other closely until wheezie let her go

"are you coming with us to pick up trash?" wheezie asked her and she shook her head

"going to stay here, write sometime, paint something. just clean, thank you though wheeze, i love you" Amelia said to her

" i love you too" wheezie said and she walked out of amelia's room as she let her think. later that night, sarah walked into her room and looked at her

"party , we're going now" sarah said and amelia looked up
from her journal

"yeah no you go have fun" Amelia said and Sarah grabbed the journal

"what are you writing about?" sarah asked and she read the note

"lia when did this happen?" sarah questioned as she read about their brother and what he said

"today but it doesn't matter" amelia told her

"yes it does, lia he shouldn't have said this. what he said is wrong" sarah stated

"is it? i am the only girl i know who likes girls, no one else" Amelia said , she couldn't bring herself to put kiara

"that doesn't matter lia, you feel the way you feel and you are able to feel that way, our brother existing or not" Sarah said and amelia hugged her

"thanks sis" she said and sarah sighed

"let's go to this party" Sarah said and amelia sighed

"sarah i love you but i really , really don't want to" amelia exclaimed and she leaned back as she looked at the ceiling and sarah laid next to her

"why not li?" sarah questioned

"people sar, they're stuck up snobs who are homophobic and won't ever listen. i'm going to the wreck later anyways" Amelia said

"for kiara?" sarah asked

"and pope" amelia retorted

"alright have fun li, text me when you're safe" sarah started and she hugged amelia one last time before she walked out of her room

amelia continued to listen to the music quietly as she waited until she could leave. around ten pm , she got up out of her bed and rode her bike to the wreck

walking in , she quickly found kiara and the others

"amelia cameron, how are you?" mike asked and she smiled at him

"hi mr. carrera, i'm good how are you?" she asked him and he walked around as he hugged her

"i'm good amelia, go be with them. have fun" he said and she turned to kiara walking towards her as she moved her hips

"you're here" kiara said and she grabbed amelia's hand as she spun her

"i'm here" she said and she held a smile on her face as she pulled pope out of his seat and she danced with him. john b pulled jj up
and they all danced together with smiles on their face. kiara spun her into her chest and they danced to the music together

amelia had a smile on her face until she had to leave. kiara walked her out and pope hugged her as kiara kissed her cheek as usual. she had blush covering cheek and she got on her bike as she rode away

the next morning, she woke up and got dressed. she looked at her phone and saw that she had a text from kiara

'going surfing, are you coming?' she read and she smiled as she looked at her swimsuit under her outfit

'i'll be there soon' she replied and she took the car to the beach with the surfboards in the back

"LIAAA" JJ called and she looked at him

"hi jj" she said and john b walked over as he high-fived her, pope hugged her and kiara hugged her after

"we surfing or what?" amelia looked at them

"hell yeah, we are" jj said to her and he ran out to the waves , pope following behind. amelia got in after them and started to surf. she heard kiara cheer her on and she smiled as she continued to surf. a few hours later, they sat on the sand and amelia looked at her phone

"amelia" kiara said and amelia looked up, she noticed how close kiaras face was and she blushed

"yeah kie?" she whispered and kiara looked at amelia's lips but a call came through on amelia's phone

"nothing it's nothing" kiara said and amelia sighed as she looked at her phone and answered it

"hey wheeze what's up?" she asked

"dad is looking for you, come home" wheezie said and amelia sighed

"i'll be home soon wheeze, i love you" and kiara smiled at amelia's words

"i have to go but i had fun" amelia said as she ended the call and smiled at kiara

"me too , now go home to your family lia" Kiara said and amelia sighed

" i hate it there" amelia stated

" i know but you need to go li" Kiara stated and amelia kissed kiaras forehead as she grabbed her surfboard and went to her car. she drove home and was met with her brother

"you done being a gay?" he asked and she shoved past him

"you done being a bitch? now move asshole" she said and she pushed past him as she went to find her father

she has never stood up to rafe but she enjoyed it. kiara made her feel better about the whole situation, maybe kiara was all she needed

amelia loved kiara still
