Sixteen
"Tae honey, have you packed your things?"
The blonde lifted his head up from what he was doing, smiling a little to his mother.
"Yes Mom. I'm all set." He checked his things one more time, making sure he has enough clothes to last a week.
It's been three weeks since his grandma Luella's burial and the Kim's have already returned to their normal lives in the city.
Well, except Taehyung.
For the past weeks, his mind is only focusing on one thing.
Finding him.
His eyes landed on the blue notebook on his bag, hidden under his clothes and other things.
Taehyung has read everything, even though the contents are not for him. He realized that it was his grandma's dying message for the man Tae badly needs to find. He has to deliver the message for his grandma's sake.
"Where are you staying with Bogum again?"
Taehyung pretended to be busy checking his things, back facing his mother.
"In his Uncle's house, Mom." Tae did not want to meet his mother's eyes, afraid that she'll see right through his lies.
The blonde bit his lower lip hard, not really wanting to lie to his mother. However, he doesn't have any other excuse to give, knowing fully well that she won't let him go if he'll say the truth.
The holiday break starts and Taehyung uses this opportunity to go back to his grandma's house, hoping to see him there.
He shamelessly asked slash bribed Bogum to ride on his lies, letting him convince his mother to allow him to have a "vacation" in his hometown.
Bogum agreed, well because he has something to gain in return. He wants Tae to give him a chance, probably date him as an exchange of his help which the blonde accepted, not really having a choice.
He needs a solid excuse for his parents, and Bogum, which they still thought to be his bestfriend, is the perfect alibi.
"Don't forget to call me when you get there, okay sweetie?"
Taehyung nodded his head, finally having the courage to look at his mom with a smile on his face.
"I'll be sure to do that, mom." He hugs her tight, still bothered by the fact that he's lying to her for the very first time. He mentally promised that this is the last time he'll ever lie to her again.
"I love you." He whispers.
"I love you too."
----
"You sure about this Tae?"
The blonde nodded his head, quickly unfastening his seatbelt. His hand reaching at the back of the car for his things.
"Thanks Bogum hyung." He smiled, opening the door to go out.
"Hey." Bogum held his arm, eyes a bit hesitant and concerned for the blonde.
"I can stay with you here if you want." He suggested, staring deeply in his eyes.
Taehyung held the older's hand, removing it from his arm.
"I'm going to be fine, hyung. I just want to spend my time alone in her house. I miss her you know." He reassured, eventually going out of the car.
He bends down, looking by the window to say his goodbye.
"Be safe hyung.. And thank you."
Bogum just nodded his head. "Call me if you need anything."
The car slowly went away, Taehyung waves his hand, smiling. Once the car is no longer in sight, he walked the path going to his grandma's house, a 10-minute walk from the main road.
The weather is nice and the full moon shines brightly in the sky, illuminating his way. The forest is surrounded with a calm feeling with only the melodious chirping of the birds sounding like music to his ears. His steps are slow, creating a mild crushing sound whenever his feet landed on fallen dry leaves.
Taking a few steps more, his nose is suddenly filled with a scent mixing in the air, a hint of strawberry and mint. He followed where the scent is coming from.
He's only few meters away from his grandma's house when he noticed a figure of a man standing in front of her tomb.
Taehyung's heart pounds in rhythmic beats, his steps shallow and uncertain, his breathing ragged.
The man has his back facing Tae. His hair raven black, moving along the gush of the wind, his body muscular in all the right places.
Taehyung breathes in, finally walking toward the man, with his hands tightly clutching the hem of his shirt.
"J-jungkook."
The man slowly turned to face the direction of the voice. His lip forming a thin line, not really happy for being interrupted.
Taehyung held his breath as he carefully studies the man's face under the moonlight. It felt like forever and the time stopped for the blonde as he drowns himself in the charcoal eyes of the man he's been longing to see for the past years.
He felt like crying, waves of emotion engulfed him, washing away his rational thinking.
All he can focus on is the man's handsome face.
"Y-you're Jungkook?" He said, almost a whisper. Everything came off as a shock, still not registering in his mind.
Taehyung remembers the name that his grandma is uttering before she died, and the same name is written on the notebook. It never occured to him that the man his grandma has fallen in love with, is the exact man Taehyung loves at the moment.
Jungkook blankly looked at him, eyes void of any emotion.
"How did you know my name?"
Taehyung almost gasp, hearing the familiar voice again. His voice is low but full of threat and angst in them, making the blonde shiver in both fear and something unexplainable.
The blonde just dumbly stared, not having the courage to speak. His knees turn to jelly and his hands sweat excessively.
"I asked you human. How did you know my name?"
Every word feels like a poison to the human's ears, his body trembling, afraid to rattle the beast.
"I-I... G-grandma L-uella.. S-she.." Taehyung failed to think clearly.
Jungkook finally realized who the human is. He studies his face, eventually finding the trace of the chubby little kid he met way back.
"So, it's you again."
Taehyung gripped the strap of his bag, he doesn't know if he'll be happy or afraid of the fact that the man remembered him.
"You never learn your lesson, don't you, human?"
Jungkook slowly took a step toward the blonde, eyes turning red as his wolf eagerly taking over him. He doesn't know why but his wolf is acting crazy at the moment, really wanting to get out. He's been smelling something sweet for awhile now, coming from the human in front of him. The sweet smell makes his wolf salivate as if he's been starved for years.
With one quick movement, Jungkook gripped the blonde in his arm, pulling hard and slamming his small frame in his mascular body, instantly groaning at the softness that he feels from the human's body.
Taehyung gasped, breath almost knocked off from his lungs, feeling the hard body pressed against his. He felt strong arms around his waist, pressing him even more. He can't think clearly, mind clouded from lust as he stares deeply in Jungkook's red blazing eyes, drowning him in a pool of ecstacy.
The full moon shining brightly above them, both dazed from an unknown connection.
"What are you doing to me?"
Jungkook harshly yanked Tae's face, exposing his delicate neck. He traced a finger from the human's cheek, slowly trailing down his jaw, and down to his neck, stopping at the base where a mark that's not there earlier, glows with the moonlight.
The alpha immediately pushed the human away, astounded. He stared at the mark and only takes him a second to know that it's HIS mark.
"What the fuck are you?!" He growled in anger, not believing his eyes.
Taehyung took a step back, afraid to see the anger in the man's eyes directed to him.
"I-I... I-I'm-----"
The blonde wasn't able to finish his sentence after feeling a hard punch in his stomach, knocking his breath out. His vision gets blurry and instantly passing out.
Jungkook held the passed out human in his arms. He felt a strong presence of werewolves nearby and it screams danger, so he had to make the boy unconscious, punching him in his stomach. He quickly transformed to his wolf form, placing the human on his back.
The alpha hurriedly went away from the place with the human, and just a few moments after, three men arrived, eyes red and dangerous.
"It's been here, Sir. I can still smell it."
One of the men said to the blonde one who has a wicked smile on his face.
"Find where the smell is coming from." He ordered, still evilly grinning.
