My birthday's tomorrow. Which leaves us with today's festivities, Eva's birthday. She's turning 16, but she wouldn't shift nor would she distinguish her mate until 7:30 pm. As a werewolf, you would meet your wolf and shift exactly on your 16th birthday leading us to the exact minute and all.

So her party would commence at 10:00 pm giving her some time to shift and get herself ready. Her party would have begun sooner but not always would a wolf want an audience the best but most painful time of a werewolves life. So she asked her dad to leave the party for the night time.

Which also meant, I'd be able to distinguish who my mate was soon enough. Simply hours away from knowing. Which scared the life out of me but I tried brushing it off as best as possible. I'm honestly not that excited to celebrate my birthday because I knew I didn't have my parents to support me through my shift. I knew I had Leelan but it still hurt to know I wouldn't have them there for any of my upcoming memories and accomplishments.

I brushed all the sad thoughts out of my mind because regardless there was a party tonight for both Eva and I. The Alpha insisted it be a celebration for the both of us since I didn't want a party for myself. He said with everything that had happened the last few weeks, we at least deserved some sort of celebration. It's been seven days since I had reunited with Leelan.

Since Lilly was the one who helped me and she found her mate in the process, Alpha Theo did allow her to stay. He was so happy the future beta found his mate. But he was also grateful for everything she did to get me back to them.

We haven't heard anything from Ceeana or Cain. Which was very concerning, but we could only keep our guard up and prepare for the worst. We knew it was bound for him to make a scene because not only was I no longer in his grip but his sister wasn't there either.

The Alpha had doubled his security and border patrol to make sure no one could get in or out without his knowledge. Especially the night of his little girl's birthday, everyone's on high alert. We don't know what Cain is planning, so we just have to make sure we're ready for anything.

The Alpha has me continuing training, because even without a wolf yet I should always know how to defend myself. We train every morning at 5:00 am, for an hour and then head back, get ready for school, and head out.

We don't train on Sundays. That is family day, where everyone hangs out together either watching movies, playing games, having lunch and then dinner all together. It's really awesome to feel like you belong again. Leelan and his family have been nothing but great to me and I am and forever will be just so grateful.

Tonight we'll party, but I'm so damn scared. What if Leelan isn't my mate. We have been inseparable this past week. What will I do if he isn't my mate. It would be so weird to just stay here but what else can I do? My mind has always had this thing where it loves to make me feel ten times worse by saying all the things I didn't want to think of.

I had given myself to Leelan that night and I will never regret it, not one bit. But I know I wouldn't be ok to be with anyone but him. I love him and he loves me. We are young but everyone knows werewolves' lives are completely different from the typical human life. Humans take their time with spouses. We go for it all the minute we find our mate.

I know the Goddess has always been there for me. So no matter the results, I believe everything has its purpose so we will see.
