Chapter 3
“Oh, my goddess…what we have found here? The princess of Red Stone pack. Aren’t you?” Thomas asked and Fiona looked at Sienna before she looked at Thomas.
“Mr Thomas?...I don’t know what it is about? My brother is injured. Our pack is under attack…” Fiona could sense there was something wrong when Thomas started making his way to them. “…we…we…we…we really ne-eed ne-need help…p-please.”
“Or I think I should kill you…and make sure that a traitor doesn’t breathe more than necessary.” Thomas stopped a few feet away but Troy was quite close to him. The moment Fiona noticed him leaning down to get the silver knife out she ran to Troy to hold his head. “Troy!” Fiona screamed when her brother writhed in pain and had tears in her eyes when she looked at Mr Thomas.
“Please…please don’t hurt us. We have done nothing. We are not traitors.” She had her hands shivering feeling how Troy was writhing in pain. “We need a doctor…please…or we will lose Troy…please,…”
Two wolves came ahead to get their teeth in Troy’s legs before they pulled him and Fiona yelled, “No! no…leave him. He has hurt already. You can’t do this...” Troy growled when he looked at Thomas with his sister. He could tell it was the end for his sister too when she tried to run to him but was held by Thomas. Troy stared at the silver knife that Thomas had in his left hand.
At this point, Troy could only hope that he makes it easy for her. “…please…please ask them to leave Troy. He can never do anything wrong. I am sure you are mistaken…” Fiona pleaded and tried her best to get to Troy only for Thomas to pick her up. “You see…I can’t do that…I am ordered to annihilate all of your pack. Everyone wants this pack to end. Because now they know that you people are nothing but traitors.” Fiona didn’t know how it was possible. She hasn’t heard any such thing ever.
“But I haven’t done anything…” She told Thomas and he smiled feeling her heaving body against hers. He could even listen to her heartbeat. She was such a delicious little thing.
“But your dad? Your pack is one of the five who planned to execute the king today. Too bad for your pack that queen got the shot for him. Too bad that he missed and now…all of you have to die.” Fiona got her eyes widened and Thomas nodded, “…yes, your father is the reason that queen is dead. He killed the queen. Our queen…so…” Fiona looked at Troy before she looked at Thomas.
“No,…” She whispered and looked at Troy again only to look at Thomas again when he licked her ear.
“…leave me,” Fiona hiccupped before pushing his face. “I will for sure…but for that, I have to kill you first.” Fiona looked at the knife that Thomas waved in front of her but had her eyes filled feeling his hand rubbing her waist suggestively. Of course, she was told about the touch. She could tell he was being inappropriate.
Fiona gulped hard before she looked at Troy. This time she knew too that it was the end for them. They were supposed to be killed no matter what. There was no place for them anywhere now.
“Leave her you! pervert!...” Sienna yelled before she ran and held Thomas’ hand. "...if you are ordered to kill us…kill us…but stop touching her!”
Thomas glared at the little girl before kicking her in her guts. Sienna fell on her left arm and one of the men walked to push Sienna’s right sleeve up.
“She doesn’t belong to Redstone pack…or any pack that was involved in the treason.” The man said and Thomas shook his head with a bitter face. “Then ask her…if she is a loyal worker here and wants to be killed with Redstone…or will stand with the virtue, the right ones!”
Sienna only stared at Thomas and had her breathing laboured. “I don’t give a fuck what is tattooed on my arm. If you are the virtue…I will rather stand with treason.”
“Sienna,…” Fiona whispered looking at her new side but Sienna only glared at Thomas.
“What a brave little girl.” Thomas was amused truly. Not a single servant or worker here stood with their treason and was given the safe path to leave the pack. And, here this little girl was ready to be murdered with her friend.
“Sienna…” Fiona whispered before she looked at Thomas and shook her head. “…she doesn’t even work here. She only arrived here today. She is not even my friend. I don’t even know her. Please...” Thomas held Fiona’s neck and kissed her hard.
Troy growled so loud. All of the wolves had to attack him to contain him. Sienna tried to run to Fiona only for Roni to hold the girl before he unearthed his dagger and held it on Sienna’s neck.
“You are such a sweet girl, aren’t you? Now stay quiet.” Thomas told Fiona before he looked at Sienna.
“So, you little girl…I am truly amazed by your loyalty. But the thing is you are standing with the wrong people…” Thomas gestured to Roni and he got his dagger a little up. Only enough to tear her skin.
“Do you still want to die? You don’t need to die for them. Really…you haven’t done anything wrong. Come to my side and have this loyalty for me. Someone who will treasure it. I really don’t want to kill you. You are a kid and a female,” Sienna had her breathing stop. She didn’t want to be killed. Sienna’s knees shook violently and her teeth started clattering. She knew her next words could be her last words.
Thomas shook his head seeing Sienna wetting her legs and whispered, “I think we have her decision. She is a coward. Leave her, Roni…” But before Thomas could complete Sienna cut him. “I am no coward. People who belong to Redstone can be scared a little but they aren’t cowards. I will go with my friend.” Sienna’s mouth shook violently and hot tears filled her eyes. She knew her fate was done for.
Roni was about to kill her but Thomas shouted, “Wait!...you little girl…I will prove that you made a grave mistake.”
Fiona had her two hands over her mouth now and was sobbing hard. She was too embarrassed. All of it was supposed to be a nightmare. And, if not she was convinced that Thomas wanted to put them through hell before killing them. She was too shocked to react when Thomas asked her, “Do you want to save Troy?” And, this made Fiona look at Thomas.
“Tell me honey…do you want to save your brother?” Thomas asked again and Fiona nodded. “Please leave us, Mr Thomas. We are no traitors. We knew…”
“I know you knew nothing about it. But now I am giving you a safe passage. You can go with your brother…and, have a chance to save him…but we will kill your friend here. Do you agree?”
Fiona shook her head and whispered, “No, let her go too. She isn’t even my friend.”
“Then it should be easy for you…choose your brother.” Fiona looked at Sienna who had her knees linked and was shivering badly. Anyone could tell that Sienna was scared to death.
“If you are to-too scared then w-why don’t you accept it? You can leav-leave and y-you should leave. Y...you won’t be aband-oning me, Sienna. You don’t owe me any-anything.”
Sienna heaved a little but shook her head. “I do owe you a lot, Fiona. He won’t leave any of us. It doesn’t matter anymore.”
“You are interesting, Sienna and intelligent…but Fiona is still to decide your fate now. I promise. If Fiona wants…I can still leave you.”
Sienna looked at Fiona and bit her lip. But Fiona looked at Troy who had several wolves at him before she looked at Thomas. “I…”
“Yes, Fiona…you better tell me quickly. And, yes, you can go if you chose your brother…” Thomas got her to the floor and Fiona held her arms with her hands. She couldn’t look at Sienna and got her knees on the floor and sobbed hard.
“I choose Troy…please leave Troy.” But soon Fiona noticed Sienna fall to her knees from the corner of her vision. Fiona look up to find her neck slashed and witnessed how she fell on her right side.
“No!” Fiona tried to run but Thomas was quick to take a hold of her arm.
“You will get your dress ruined, Fiona! Won’t you?” Thomas smirked but was shocked seeing how she didn’t have any mark on her right arm. He pushed her sleeve up to notice there was no sign of any tattoo.
Fiona found Sienna gasping for air but the cut was too lethal and blood was everywhere. She saw fear in Sienna’s eyes. “No!” Fiona punched Thomas’ hand and tried to get freed. She could tell Sienna was scared. Fiona had the image imprinted on her brain. The little Sienna with her hands on her slashed neck.
“Sienna!” Fiona cried out so loud and had her knees bruised for how hard she tried to get free from Thomas’ hold on her arm.
Thomas let her go only for Fiona to crawl to Sienna sobbing. “I am so sorry. I didn’t mean to kill you, Sienna…” Sienna already had her eyes half-closed. She wasn’t moving or writhing in pain but her chest was still moving though. And, Fiona could tell she was in great pain.
“You didn’t deserve it. You were no traitor. Oh no…no, no, no, no…” Fiona tried to touch her neck but then sobbed holding her face. “Sienna…I am so sorry…I…”
“Don’t worry, Fiona. She knew before her death that you are a traitor. Even you know this now…”
“Bastard!” Fiona yelled before she attacked Thomas. “I will kill you!” Thomas had both hands over her wrists and no matter how hard Fiona tried to get her hands at him she couldn’t.
Thomas threw her on the floor and asked, “How come you don’t have the mark on your arm?” Thomas asked Fiona only for her to shake her head. “It shouldn’t concern you. You want to kill me. Do it!”
“I will kill you…but it is about your brother. I want to leave him. He is too young. But you have to prove to me that you belong to Redstone pack.”
“I belong to Redstone pack,” Fiona answered not knowing where was going with his questions.
“Then show me your tattoo. That should have been on your right arm.” Thomas yelled and Fiona was quick to reply. “I didn’t get one. I was scared of the tattoos. And, I am allergic to most of the painkillers.”
Thomas looked at her for a moment and smiled. “I can’t kill you…if you want me to kill you. You have to prove that you are a part of the Redstone Pack. Do you have any proofs…” Fiona looked at him and wonder what he was talking about.
“Just because I don’t have a tattoo…”
“Means you can be spared…come here…and, you don’t have to die.” Fiona only crawled back shaking her head. “No,” She could tell he didn’t mean anything good.
Troy growled louder and knew what he was suggesting. Fiona looked at Troy before she looked at Thomas. “You said you will leave Troy and me…why don’t you…”
“Oh about Troy…” Thomas looked at Troy and shook his head. “Troy…why don’t you forget about your this sister Fiona…consider this one was Fiona who is already dead. She had blue eyes and had the same height as Fiona…” But then Thomas looked at Roni before he said, “…severe this girl’s right arm…” before he looked at Troy all the while walking to Fiona. “Don’t worry…I will take better care of her, Troy. I will keep her hidden and safe…all for me. Right? Fiona? Come with me?” Fiona shook her head and was quick to run for Troy.
But before she could reach Troy, Thomas had her arm in his hold again. “No! Leave me…leave me. Troy what should I do? Troy! Troy!” Troy tried to make a failed effort only to welcome more knives and bites this time.
Fiona was still trying to get freed when Thomas dragged her out. “Troy! Troy!” Fiona yelled only to earn a slap across her jaw. She fell on her back and shook her head. “Please…I don’t want to go with you. Leave me here…with Troy. I better die than to…”
“Stay with me? What? You don’t like me. I can be your Troy…your daddy…anything you want me to be.”
“I don’t want you…” Fiona tried to take a step away but Thomas was quick to handle her and dragged her to his car.
He was about to get in when he got a call from one of his men. “Alpha Thomas…they are going to bury the queen. You have to be here.”
“Fuck! Ok…I will be there.” Thomas said while Fiona tried to get out from the other door. She got her eyes to the hideout only to notice those wolves howling out with the last one having something in his mouth that she feared was some of Troy.
She gagged and threw up. Fiona tried her best to take a step further but had her head moving before she lost consciousness. Her acts did gain Thomas' attention.
“Roni!” Thomas yelled for Roni and was quick to order him. “Get her to my pack house. Nobody should know her identity. In fact, get her in there without anyone knowing.” Roni didn't move and only looked straight into his eyes. “We should be killing her. She is too much of a risk we are taking for nothing but for your lewd desires.”
“Shut the fuck up…and don’t forget what you are involved in already. Can we be more fucked than we already are?” Thomas asked but then looked at Fiona who was trying to get up from the ground.
"If I didn't find her where I want her...you will pay for it," Thomas added and Roni only glared at him. Thomas left the scene and Roni walked to Fiona. She whimpered but Roni dragged her to his car.
"Please,...please tell me, Troy made it. Did he let him go?" Fiona asked only for Roni to glare at her. "He is dead. Your parents are dead and thanks to you...your friend is dead."
"You killed her...didn't you?" Fiona noticed his fingers that were still bloody. It was Sienna's blood.
"Kill me then. Don't take me for Thomas. You shouldn't go against the moon goddess. You should kill me..."
"If I killed you, Thomas..."
"Don't tell him that you killed me? Let me go and...and,...and, tell him that I ran away."
Roni stopped to stare at her and nodded. "Aren't you such a brain?" The next thing she noticed was Roni dragging her to the huge waterfall. She could tell she had dug herself a grave.
"What are you doing? Where are you taking me...I...I didn't say this..." Fiona tried to stop him but he was quick to pick her up and grit,
“Go, and join your loved ones.” She heard Roni telling her and shook her head violently. "No,...no...". She looked at the damn height. There was no beauty in here today. It looks horrible. And, from here wherever she sees it was smoke and destruction. “Goodbye, princess,” He said before throwing her like she is a little sack of potato he was disposing of.
It was her last thought but she wonders if gaga too bailed out on her. And, get the safe passage they were talking about. The water hit her and had her head split. She had a tear falling from her eye and didn't fight the darkness that came to whisper a lullaby.
