"I don't have the time for thesegames.." Serena pouted as her brother drove her to the Last ResortHotel, "I just want to get this over with."

"Of course you do," Billy said,"You just think this will take away all of your problems? All ofthe pack's problems? You becoming a pack whore?"

"This wasn't MY idea, you asshole,"Serena said, "This was HIS."

Billy, as an Omega, could saynothing—he simply had to watch his sister fall into the trap of theruthless Alpha of their pack,

"Lucas won't want you here."

"Too bad.."

"Too bad?" Serena sighed,"Billy..please.."

Billy wasn't interested in watching hissister become the mistress to the Alpha, but he wanted to keep hersafe.

"I will be fine," Serena said, "I'malways fine."

Billy snarled, "I take care of you."

"And that's why I will be fine."

"This seedy dump..How dare he?"

The Waxing Moon Pack was all aboutluxury and high maintenance, but not when it came down to Lucas'swomen—and he a lot of them.

Now, Serena was going to become one ofthem just to save her family.

"I hate him."

"Don't we all?"

Serena's red wolf growled inside ofher, but knew she couldn't take on the Alpha—she would try, butthat might make it hard on her brother and her master.

"I love you.."

"I love you too.." Billy sighed ashe pulled into a parking spot, "I am going to be right here."

His voice cracked as he hugged hissister, watching one of Lucas's goons grab her and forcefully pushher into the path of more betas and omegas of the pack beforeslipping into the room that Lucas had rented.

The Alpha was nowhere to be found,though.

"Sit down. He'll be here soon,"Conrad said, licking his lips at the sight of the beautiful wolf, "Imight have to have a quick taste."

"Try it and I will kill you with mybare hands."

"I am sure you will.."

A voice from the entrance startled themas Lucas walked into the room.

"Look at how gorgeous you are in thisdress," Lucas licked his lips, "Made for me---just me.."

"Not JUST you," Serena snarled, hereyes shadowing over as her wolf tried to break free, "I,-"

"Yes, yes—you hate me," Lucaswaved a hand, "Leave us so I can chat with this pretty littleminx."

The other members of the pack left asLucas settled in on the other side of the room with his suit neatlypressed and his bulging muscles practically bursting the seams. Hetook off his jacket and folded it over the arm of the chair.

"So, Serena...why have I never beeninside of you before tonight?"

"Because I have more self respect."

"Oh, come now.." Lucas chuckled."

"I am serious," Serena huffed, "Theonly reason I am doing this is to save my brother—who owes youmoney."

"Billy is a gambler and he was mytrusted hitman until recently."

Serena glared at the alpha, "Can wejust get this over with?"

"We can.." Lucas said, unbuttoninghis dress shirt, "I'd love to get a taste of you sooner rather thanlater."

Serena began to take off hershirt—unsteady as she went.

Her thoughts raced, her mind waspuzzled. She...felt something more..

"What?"

"What what?" She asked as herclothes fell to the side and the two stood there in the room, theirclothing gone, their hearts pounding.

"You—said something?"

"I didn't.." Serena shook her head,"Did you?"

Lucas narrowed his eyes, "Is thissorcery?"

"What do you mean?" Serena roamedhis body with her eyes as he did the same to hers.

"I can hear your thoughts!"

"I can hear YOUR thoughts!"

A car horn honked, shots rang out andthe two rushed to the window to see their pack under an ambush.

"Fuck.." Lucas growled, "Getdressed and stay here."

"Like hell! I can fight too!"

"My Luna isn't fighting anyonetonight!"

"Your what?"

Serena scowled at him as if he'd hither.

"My Luna.." Lucas said, "Not thatI cared for this to happen—not with.."

"Someone like me?"

The bond hit him like a ton of bricksand Lucas charged her, wrapping her up in his arms and tossing heronto the bed, still holding her close.

"Please do not leave this room."

"O...okay.." Serena whispered,staring into the Alpha's eyes as she did so, "Lucas.."

Suddenly, Lucas smashed his lips withhers, their bodies melting together as the bond took hold.

"Oh...gods.." Serena whimpered asher mate pulled away, "This is really real.."

Lucas nodded, kissing her gently on theforehead turning to go.

"Remember what I said—do notleave."

And then, he was gone.

Serena watched as her mate and Billyfought the rogue pack right there in the parking lot—they'd beenattacked before, but this was different.

This would end in death.

Serena couldn't believe her mate wasthe ruthless Alpha Lucas...

Billy fought alongside him as thebattle continued.

Serena felt her wolf itching—needingto break free.

"What is it?"

"The bathroom.."

Suddenly, the goons and Conrad—who'dbeen inside before—burst into the room.

They weren't there to save Serena—theywere there to have their way and take her from her pack to die.

"NO!!!"

Shifting—even in such a tinyroom—Serena did so, her wolf clawing and biting the men who'd triedto shift but couldn't before they were taken down by the littleomega.

"What the hell?!" Lucas rushed intothe room and watched Serena shift back into her skin, her beautifulflawless flesh came into view as she ran into his arms.

"I'm fine..I'm fine..."

Billy came in, ready to fight the Alphauntil Serena stepped between them.

"He's my mate! I am Alpha Lucas'sLuna!"

Lucas smiled as Billy's confusionwashed away—the battle won outside and the rogue pack running off.

"We need to get married as soon aspossible and I guess an apology is in order," Lucas said to hismate, "Forgive me..I didn't know.."

Serena smiled, "I forgive you—mywolf on the other hand might be a little indifferent for a while."

Embracing, Billy watched from adistance, noting the dead men in the hotel room.

"So, uh, does this mean my debts arepaid?"
