Erika groans as she sees her manager make his way to her, "This is the 5th time you are late. If this is how things will be going I want you gone" she takes a deep breathe before speaking "I'm sorry it won't happen again I swear" but he don't listen. She takes off her shirt & cap before leaving the place.

Erika checks her pocket for some money to buy something to eat she hasn't ate anything since last night. She pouts in disappointment as she finds few cents.

She cheers up as she think of going to the Antonio's may be Marisa will be more than happy to let her eat late lunch. She smiles as she turns her way to the house when suddenly her mind flashes Enzo's last words.

Her shoulders slumps as she makes her way back to her home, she opens her house door & move to her room may be she can sleep & then when wake up go meet her mother.

Erika walks to the hospital to check on her mother, it's already been two weeks that she was admitted & they still hadn't let her see her own mother. She asks the receptionists if she can see her mother but the information she gets from shocks her. She freezes as she hears the things the receptionist tells her.

Erika runs off to the cemetery in daze as the words of the receptionist still echoes in her ear, she reaches her mother grave & sits on the ground looking at it without any emotion.

How can this happen? When the receptionist informed that her mother died she didn't believed it, they had tried calling her last night but her phone was unreachable. How could they bury her without consulting her, she couldn't even say goodbye to her mother. She hardly had seen her mother when she was in the hospital.

How can her mother die? They said she only had a fever & then why didn't they let her meet her own mother? How can they just bury her mother just like that without informing her of her mother's death? No, this can't be happening to her, her mother can't leave her she had no one left except her mother.

Erika stares at the grave in front she doesn't know what to say or how to feel! After spending few hours in her mother grave she gets up & walks back home, when she hears a faint cry.

She moves towards the sound & she comes in front of a baby's crib, she looks around & calls to see if anyone is around or left the crib there. She looks inside the crib where the baby is crying.

Not knowing what to do, she once again tries to call someone but no one answers. Not wanting to get involved she walks away from there, but as she reaches the gate it starts raining. So she runs to her house but stops again before turning around thinking about the baby & groan.

She runs to get the baby & brings the baby in the house. She takes the baby's clothes off before wrapping the baby in some warm clothes. The baby starts crying, not knowing how to handle it she rings Antonio's house but cuts the call when she remembers Enzo words once again.

She carries the baby & tries to make him quiet but fails, the baby sucks her hood then she realize may be the baby is hungry.

She checks the kitchen for some milk but finds it empty, so she checks the time & look out seeing it's still raining she puts the baby on the floor before surrounding him with pillows & putting a blanket over him. She pulls her hood up & runs to the near shop.

When she makes it to the shop, she checks the baby stall but seeing so many things she gets confused "hey um can you help me?" she asks the guy sitting at the counter.

"What are you searching?" he asks & she looks at him "baby food" he nods before asking "how big?" she thinks for a while then stretch both her hands to show him how big the baby is "this much" he watches at her bewildered & sighs "age?"

She scratches her chin "um I really don't know may be newly born or something?" he sighs again & pick some milk powder & hands her.

"Do you want something else?" he asks making her nod "diapers & clothes?" he hands her the things & she runs to the house after paying.

She throws her hood on the table & takes the baby before trying to make the milk. She reads the instructions & does as it says. Tasting how hot the milk is she puts it in the bottle & put it near the baby's mouth.

The baby sucks it eagerly & Erika sighs in relief before collapsing on the couch with the baby in her arms & soon exhaustion takes over her body as she closes her eyes before falling asleep.

Hearing loud cries Erika gets startle & nearly throws the baby out of her arms "what?" she looks around then at the baby "what now?" she groans as the baby cries again.

After feeding the baby once more & making many attempts to stop him cry the lil guy finally falls asleep. Erika cleans the kitchen thinking what will see do now & how to get rid of the baby, she plans to go to the police & hand them the kid. Finally with that thought she lies beside the baby & falls asleep.

Erika wakes when water falls on her face & she jerks up cursing whoever threw the water on her & looks around for the culprit but finds herself alone. She rubs her faces to clean the water then gets a bad smell, she smells her hand before looking at the baby & curse him figuring out that the guy just pee on her face. She jumps to wash her face all the while cursing the lil monster.

After cleaning her face at least 5times she finally comes out to check on the guy who is playing alone, she sighs before changing his diapers.

If she had done the diapers last night she wouldn't have been woke up like that she grumbles as she changes him. Making sure the baby is feed she puts him in the crib & walks to the near station.

As she walks with the baby, everyone who passes by looks at her weird. She enters the station & finds an officer who looks around his late 40's. "Officer Hey, I'm Erika & I want to report something" the officer looks at her before offering a seat.

"Hello I'm Josh. So how can I help you?" he asks politely. She smiles before taking the baby out of the crib.

"Here, I found this baby last night at the cemetery crying, it was raining & I didn't knew who he was so" she explains but gets interrupted by the officer. "Whoa! Whoa! Kid, wait a second! You mean you just took the baby with yourself for a whole night?" he asks & she nods.

"Well, I tried searching whose baby he was but as you see no one was around & I couldn't leave it alone there." The officer looks at her suspiciously.

"So you mean to say you didn't kidnap him?" he inquires, Erika looks at the man in disbelief.

"Why would I bring him here asking your help if I kidnapped him? Anyway I hate kids!" she exclaims.

The officer looks at her for a while before calling someone. "Mitch this girl says she found a baby in cemetery last night check if any reports came or was made about a missing child" Josh orders.

"What were you doing there at night anyway?" Mitch asks & she rubs her face.

"My mom she um passed away" she whispers.

Mitch smiles at her apologetically before he walks to check. "OK, so I need your name & number" Josh asks & she gives it to him.

Mitch comes back after a while & speaks "Nope, no reports made for a missing child!"

Erika sighs in disappointment before looking at the officer. "What now?" she asks. The officer looks at her before speaking "Sorry kid, we cannot do anything if the report isn't made." She looks at the baby who is sleeping peacefully while a storm is raging in her life.

"But what will I do with him? I can't take care of him!" she groans.

"You should have thought about the consequences before acting kid & anyway why don't you leave his pictures, we will see what we can do" she smiles thankfully to the officer.

"Ok, but can't I leave him some place?" she asks hopefully.

"No can't do that, now that we are involved the kid stays with you" she face palm herself before helping the officer to take the kid pictures.

"I'll keep on checking on you kid, so don't do anything I wouldn't do" Josh warns her & she nods before leaving.

"Great! Just great! Just when my life was turned up side down you had to fall on my lap. Mom was right curiosity kills cat, if only I had just ignored you cries, I wouldn't have gotten in this trouble at all" she shouts making some by passer look at her like she is crazy.

She glares at them before heading for her house. She looks at Mr. Gomez house & smiles "May be that old geezer can be helpful" she murmurs before knocking his door only to find it locked.

She sighs "Just awesome, when I need people they all have to close doors at me" she screams in frustration making the baby wake up & scream.

She tries to stop the urge to throw the baby on the road before heading to her house. She takes out the baby from its crib & lie it down on the floor before heading to the kitchen to make something for her.

Seeing the fridge empty she curses again before settling on crunching some cereals. She looks at the baby trying to figure out how she will manage to save not just her but his life too.

It's not like she got tons of money under her bed to take it out & make everything easier & now she can't ask help with the Antonio's she don't know how will she be able to work this all out. Only if her mother was, she shakes her head.

"Stop it! You can't think about it now, what's done is done. I have to get a job till the baby is out of here. I mean someone must be searching for him right?" she sighs.

She picks the baby & make her way to the place she didn't wished she have to go.

As she enters the cafe she asks to meet the jerk of a manager. "What do you want? If you are here for the job then the answer is no" the manager finals she groans before stating.

"Come on just one chance, I'll not be late I swear I need this job please" she begs but he just looks at her & shakes his head.

After trying to persuade the man again she leaves without getting a job. She takes a newspaper & look for the job but not her day, the baby starts fussing & she ends up going home to feed the lil monster. She calls all the favors she can to her school friends but no luck.

She looks at the kid tiredly "Out of everybody, in this town you had to land on a poor girl like me right? What were you thinking, it's a total suicide kid you can't even talk & look if this goes on we both are dead! So, do me a favor poop some gold instead of that dirty smelly shit. Then may be we both can survive" she talk with the baby who just coos looking at her.

She smiles at him sweetly & take him in her arms "My dad abandoned us too you know, so I know what you must be going through!"

"But don't worry we will get through this I just wish I could get help from the twins but" she gets interrupt when the kid pulls her hair.

"Ouch, that hurts lil fellow! That's why I hate kids. What? You want to know who I'm talking about?" she asks the kid & like he understands what she is saying he claps his hands making baby sounds.

She smiles as she pinch his cheeks before continuing "When I was like 8, I met these cool kids 'The Antonio's' it's a secret I can't speak with anyone but now that they kicked me out more like 1 guy the evil one of them all Enzo. I can't ask them for help or see them anymore, I even had fight with Finn he must have hate me now. It's just me & you" she rubs his back & tries to make him go to sleep & falls asleep with him.
