{ GOLDEN GOOSE HUNT }

“I wish this can fall everyday, aww!” Felix said. He’s holding Hyunjin’s arm, and they’re both standing beside the bridge, watching the shooting stars from there with numerous other people.

“Me too, it’s been a while since I saw something beautiful apart from my hyung…” Hyunjin replied.

“I’m not beautiful?” Felix pouted jealously, and he faced him with a giggle.

“I wanted to say my hyung and you, learn patience young man” he replied, and he smiled before standing on his toes, giving him a peck on the chin.

He returned it, and they smiled at each other.

Meanwhile, Minho and Jisung are standing not far from them on the same bridge, watching the shower too.

“I wonder when it’ll fall again” Jisung said with fascination written all over his face as his face got stuck in the sky.

Minho suddenly faced him, and he looked at him.

“What? Something on my face?” He touched his face.

“No, I’m just thankful that you brought me here” he replied, and  Jisung smiled.

“Then, can I hold your hand at least?” he asked.

“My hand?” Minho blinked, and Minho took his right hand. He interlocked it with his.

“This?” Minho asked, and Jisung nodded.

Minho touched his hair like a kid’s, and Jisung giggled before they both faced the sky again.

“I see everyone in the palace is here” Seokjin said from behind them.

“I’ve been sighting everyone too. But it’s only normal for them to come out, it’s a special night anyways” Taehyung replied, staring at the meteors.

“I know, right?” Seokjin replied, and he nodded.

Seokjin hasn’t been watching the stars, his eyes have been on him, and he hasn’t been able to stop staring at him.

His features always drive him crazy, but it’s extra one kind today.

“Why did you run out of your suite in tears the other time?” Taehyung suddenly asked, and he blinked.

“Oh…. it’s….”

He was still stuttering awkwardly when Taehyung sighted something.

Ladies in black clothes are roaming the place unnoticed, and it looks like they’re searching for something.

Taehyung calmed down and saw that they’re actually looking at the back of male necks.

“What are they doing?” He muttered.

“I think they’re the daughters of Eodum” Seokjin replied.

“What do you like most about falling stars?” Hoseok suddenly asked.

He’s watching with Namjoon at the marketplace.

Namjoon didn’t reply, so he faced him.

“Namjoon?” He called, but still the same.

“Namjoon!” He nudged him, and he faced him quickly.

“Huh!”

Hoseok smiled sadly immediately.

“What were you thinking of?” He asked, and Namjoon smiled.

“Nothing” he lied and looked away.

Hoseok suddenly grabbed his arm and turned him to himself, then he shocked him by kissing him, straight on the lips!

Namjoon was quick to push him away, breathing heavily.

“What are you doing!”

“I love you!” He said loudly, and Namjoon eyes widened.

“What!”

“Yes I do, and I also know you love someone else” he replied.

“Huh?”

“You’re in love with your cousin, isn’t it? You love Yoongi despite the fact that he was once your bully, and I also know he’s all you’ve been thinking of since we got here” he replied.

“Hoseok….”

“I’m quick-witted” he smiled, and Namjoon sighed.

Before he could say another word, Namjoon started walking away backwardly.

“You can’t leave me here. Give me my answer before you leave” he said.

“I’m sorry” Namjoon said and finally turned his back, then he ran away.

Hoseok fought back his tears as he squatted right there.

“Mother hated me when he was still alive, father hated me too. Can’t I at least get love from you?”

His tears finally fell.

Kang suddenly stumbled into Taemin, and his eyes widened.

“Whoa! Taemin!”

“Been a while” Taemin smiled, and Kang hugged him.

“Heard you were thrown out together with Gangyeon, where have you been?”

“With him of course, I have nowhere to go since he’s my master. We’re staying with Eodum in her shrine” Taemin replied.

“I feel so bad, shrines can be stuffy and suffocating” Kang said.

“I’m fine, seriously” Taemin replied, and Kang sighed.

“Why aren’t you with Joyun? He turned you down again?” Taemin asked, and that was when Taehyung walked past with Seokjin.

“Taehyung!” Kang held him.

He looked at him, then at Taemin.

“Hey, Taehyung” Taemin smiled.

Taehyung smiled back lightly.

“Your highness, you came out too?” Kang said, and Seokjin nodded.

“With this shinny guy” he replied, and Kang chuckled.

“We’re actually after the daughters of Eodum, seems like they’re after something” Taehyung said.

“Oh….” Kang said.

“Actually… I, Lady Ki and Lord Gangyeon stay with Eodum right now, and I think they’re after Nimon” Taemin said.

“Nimon?” Kang said.

“The volume 2 of The Ancient Book Of Witches is with them, and it says … The sons of Circle can only be recognized by the circle marks at the back of their necks. They’re desperate to get Nimon since he’s the only one who can eliminate king Jungkook” Taemin said.

“So the daughters of Eodum are out in search of anyone with the circle mark?” Kang said again.

“Yes”

“But how come you’re sharing this information? Aren’t you betraying your master now?” Seokjin said, and Taemin smiled dryly.

“I’ll do anything to gain Taehyung’s trust again” he said, and Kang smiled.

“Lin is with us too” Taemin said.

“Lin?” Taehyung finally spoke.

“Yes, and he has plans to trap King Jungkook again” Taemin replied.

“That insane demon wench” Taehyung clenched his teeth.

“We need to get the book in our hands” Seokjin said.

“I can help” Taemin smiled.

“No it’s dangerous” Taehyung said immediately.

“I promise to get the book” Taemin replied, and Taehyung looked him in the eye.

“But if I get it, promise me you’ll have a drink with me, as friends” Taemin said.

Taehyung was about to reply when Gowon rushed to them with three palace guards, breathing hard.

“His majesty…his majesty is….”

“What?” Taehyung asked impatiently.

“He got stabbed in the heart with the sword of hell, on river Taedonggang” a guard broke the news, and their eyes widened in horror.

“He’s almost dead in the palace right now” Gowon said, and Taehyung was the first to run madly out of the place.

Kang and Seokjin followed, and Taemin sighed.

He turned to leave, but he met one of the daughters of Eodum behind himself, and he froze.

She looked ruthless at first, but then she smiled and turn to a man.

“Your secret is safe” he said, and Taemin sighed in relief.

“By the way, I’m Danyeol, and I have a hyung in the palace too, it’s my top secret but I’m telling you since I now know your secret” he said, and Taemin raised a brow.

“What’s his name?”

“He’s the coldest warrior in the palace, a dog” Danyeol replied, and Taemin smiled.

“You don’t need to mention his name, I know him” he said.

They kept chatting till they got back to the shrine where all the other daughters assembled already.

Danyeol shapeshift back to a girl and joined them, and Taemin entered the shrine.

“So none of you saw the mark?” Eodum asked, coming out of the shrine.

“Yes Oracle!” They all chorused, and she smirked.

“The search continues tomorrow. I don’t care if you’ll have to break into houses, bring me Nimon!” She barked.

“Yes Oracle!” They chorused again, and Lin came out.

“I’m hungry, anyone available for dinner?” She said.

Eodum rolled eyes around, and they fell on one of the ladies.

She drew her up, and Lin smiled as the lady began shivering.

The rest of them dispersed, and Lin held the head of the lady immediately.

He suddenly opened his mouth, as wide as a fish’s, then at once, he swallowed the lady.

“I’m full!!!” He laughed.

Eodum went in, and he followed.

Seomin and Gangyeon are still in bed.

“I knew it won’t be easy” Gangyeon said.

“Nimon is not someone who can be caught in a blink” Lin replied.

“But I’m still wondering why he hasn’t appeared to start causing havoc. The Nimon of this birth should be close to 28 already” Eodum said.

“Father Kangmin killed Circle and took the babies, you don’t expect him not to do something about Nimon. Maybe his powers were sealed” Gangyeon replied, and a bloody sword flew in immediately.

Lin caught it, and Gangyeon’s eyes widened.

“Sword of hell? Why is it so bloody?”

Taemin rushed in immediately.

“My Lord! King Jungkook got stabbed by the sword of hell!’ he reported.

“How did that happen?”

“We made an oath with this sword, and I think he tried to go against it” Lin smiled.

“He got stabbed where?” Eodum asked.

“In the heart” Taemin replied, and Gangyeon laughed happily.

“Then he won’t dare survive, forget the fact that he’s a demigod” he said.

“Yes. He’ll die after 24 hours, and all his powers will be embedded in this sword” Lin replied.

“Even Yoongi survived a slash from this sword, so why would Jungkook die?” Eodum said.

“You’re really dumb Eodum. Yoongi survived because there was no oath involved, and it wasn’t in the heart, and he’s not supposed to die till the third slash since it’s a ritual” Lin smiled.

“But the sword of hell has an antidote” Gangyeon suddenly said.

“They’ll never get it. Who’d risk his or her life? And apart from that, only one person is aware of the antidote” Lin replied.

Agui just finished watching the meteor shower alone in front of the coven, and he’s currently walking in.

The gangsters in the rocky passage bowed in respect to him as he walked past them, and he sighed, feeling pains from his arm.

He stopped and looked at the wound, then he smiled.

“Just three days left” he said and suddenly saw Cobra walking into his room.

He sighed, remembering how he got here and became his second in command.

Growing up to meet his seven years old self in an orphanage wasn’t so appropriate for him, so he’s always causing trouble in the orphanage, beating up kids and wounding them.

He can’t do without causing harm like venom, and that’s why Omega named him Agui which simply means Venom.

Agui!

He didn’t realize that he was made of poison till one day during a fight.

He was about to choke a boy till death when the boy gave him a bite on the arm.

The fight stopped there, but after that, the boy started rotting from inside.

His flesh decayed and his bones crushed even when he was still alive. He died after twelve days.

That was when he knew the power he carries, and he began using it for evil.

He poisoned close to hundred kids in the orphanage, and then the people protested that it should be closed down.

Omega closed the orphanage and sent away the remaining kids, but she left with two boys.

Agui was one of the kids who was sent away, and while walking the streets, he met Cobra when he was robbing an old man of his money.

He didn’t hesitate before joining him, and after robbing for years, they formed the den of thieves… SERPIENTS COVEN

Cobra as the ruler, and Agui as the second in command.

Agui smiled and started heading to Cobra’s room.

Working with Cobra didn’t only make him more powerful, it made him know his real identity.

Who he really is.

He got to his door and flaunted his hair, revealing the back of his neck.

A big circle mark shone brightly right there, and he smiled again before opening the door, going in.

“Do you like showing off the mark so much?” Cobra said immediately, and he stopped walking.

Cobra stood and faced him.

“Nimon” he said.

Agui smiled.

Jungkook is still bleeding from the stabbed heart. The maids has almost used all the available clothes to try stopping the flow, but it kept coming.

Jimin hasn’t stopped crying for once, he has almost shed blood.

The Queen Dowager and Chen are inside the room, then Yoongi.

“He’ll die after 24 hours, that’s how the sword of hell works” the Queen Dowager said, and Jimin fell on his knees.

“No! No please there has to be a way!!! There has to be a way!!!! My Kookie can’t just die like this help!!!” He cried bitterly.

Snot was even coming out of his nose as he cried.

“Your Kookie?” Yoongi suddenly grabbed his hair.

“How dare you call him by his name? With the guts to even shorten it! The fact that he uses you to relieve his hunger for sex means nothing!” He growled, pulling his hair again.

Taehyung rushed in with Seokjin, and his eyes widened when he saw Jungkook’s condition.

Even the white bedspread is full of his blood.

“Your majesty” he muttered shockingly.

“How did it happen?”

“We were on the boat in the river, and I…. I I made confessions, he was about to make his own when the sword appeared and did it” Jimin cried.

“You know how the sword works already, I think we should prepare for his death after 24 hours. Two hours is gone so we’re only left with 22” the Queen Dowager said and left with Chen.

Taehyung fell on his knees too, and Yoongi wiped his tears before they’d fall.

“What has the sword got to do with him” Taehyung sobbed sorrowfully.

The maids kept wiping the blood, and Jimin kept crying loudly.

“What do we do? He can’t die like this, there has to be a way! Taehyung let’s go to old Gantzo!” Seokjin pulled him up, and they both rushed out.

Yoongi coughed and faced Jimin.

“We need to talk, follow me” he said and walked out of the room.

He went to the restroom, and Jimin met him there.

“Wipe your tears, I know of a way” he said, and Jimin’s eyes widened.

“A way?” He quickly held his hand.

“He needs just a feather from the golden goose to be ok” Yoongi said.

“Golden goose? Isn’t that one of the empire devices?” Jimin replied.

“Who cares? are you interested or not?” Yoongi replied.

“I’ll do it!” Jimin quickly said, and Yoongi smiled before bringing out a small key from his pocket.

“Here’s the key to border town, you have to steal your way in and pluck one of the feathers of the goose. If you get caught after you come back, you can’t tell anyone that you did it for my father, else it’ll ruin everything” Yoongi said.

Jimin took the key from him without thinking.

“Remember you have 21 hours. You must be back before 21 hours” Yoongi said.

“I understand, how do I leave?” He asked.

“Close your eyes” Yoongi said.

Jimin closed his eyes, and Yoongi blew air from his mouth to his face, then he vanished.

Yoongi smiled when he remembered what he saw in the empire law prospectus.

ANYONE WHO STEALS HIS OR HER WAY INTO BORDER TOWN TO STEAL ANY OF THE EMPIRE DEVISES SHALL BE KILLED CRUELLY WITH THE BLADES OF AGONY FROM THE DEPTH OF LAKE GALKO.

Taehyung came in with Seokjin and old Gantzo, and they walked into the room together.

“There’s no way to fix this, Taehyung. I’m sorry” Gantzo said pitifully, and Taehyung started crying for real.

Seokjin joined him, and Yoongi smiled.

“Killing two birds with one stone” he muttered.

“Where is Jimin?” Gantzo suddenly asked.

“He must be crying somewhere” Yoongi replied.

Jimin landed in front of border town gate, and he looked around the foggy place before moving closer to the gate.

He inserted the key into the small keyhole, and he opened it, but immediately he stepped in, he fell into darkness.

“Argggggggghhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!” He screamed as he kept falling without stopping.

His all took close to thirty minutes, and when he finally landed, he found himself in the middle of devilishly dangerous men.

They’re all looking shabby and scary, and they’re holding thick sticks meant for cows.

And another thing… They all have one eye, no second one.

Jimin didn’t get the chance to stand when they all came to him at once, and they started hitting the sticks on him.

“AHH!!”

“AHHH!!!”

“Help!!!”

“Please!!!”

“AHHHHH!!!!”

He was rolling on the sandy ground as he received each hit, and they kept beating him like a cow on every part of his body.

Hot painful tears escaped his eyes, and he started bleeding from the mouth and nose, then big wounds on his skin.

One of them hit the stick on his head, and his head hit on the ground as it made a straight sound.

“Argghhhhh!!!!, Please!!!”

They carried him and threw him. His back hit on a hard rock, and more blood shot out of his mouth.

Immediately he landed down, they started kicking him to each other like a ball.

“Kookie!!!!!”
