~~~Lionel's POV~~~

Previously:

Mate! My wolf screamed. I gulped and Caleb looked up at me our eyes locking. I quickly turned, my back against the wall as I felt the blood rushing to my nether regions and my breaths came out in pants.

"Lionel?" Caleb's voice rang out.

His voice to so gentle and sweet. I shifted as I felt my pants getting tighter.

Damn.

"Lionel? Is that you?" Caleb asked aloud. I heard footsteps getting closer. I took off back into the living room to find Brody giving me a confused look.

"Dude what was...." Brody started and stopped smelling the air. He grimaced and covered his nose.

"Are you..." He questioned looking at my crotch. I flushed red and nodded.

I turned and looked around before grabbing his wrist and pulled him outside. I almost tripped rushing to get out of that house. His scent was really strong and still affecting me. Once we were far enough that the smell wasn't as strong I let go of Brody's wrist.

"What happened?" He asked me. I took a deep breath.

"I found my mate." My wolf jumped at my words. Brody's face lit up as he grinned.

"That's amazing man! Who is it?" He said happily. I frowned.

"Wait, there weren't any girls in the house except Jamie and Caroline and they were out back." He said, "so who's your mate?"

Just deep breaths. Just tell him.

"Caleb." I breathed, my voice coming out in a whisper.

"Who?" He asked not hearing me.

"Caleb." I mumbled louder. He gave me a funny look before his eyes went wide.

"No...way." He whispered, "So he caused...that?"

He pointed to the tent in my pants causing me to blush but I nodded.

"What did he say?"

"Nothing. I rushed out before he could question anything."

"We need to go back and help everyone finish setting up though...." He stated. I groaned and rubbed my temples.

"I can't go back in there with his scent driving me crazy and knowing our mate is in there unmarked is making my wolf go insane." I said exasperated. I sat down in the grass and buried my head in my hands. I heard Brody sit down beside me and felt him pat my back.

"Go for a run. Clear your head. Just come back for the party." He more so demanded than suggested. Me being his Alpha I didn't really like his giving me commands but I needed it. I needed to clear my head.

"Fine." I grumbled. He smiled and softly punched my arm before getting up and walked back into the house. I quickly stood up and stripped of my clothes and placed then on a a tree branch.

I got down on all fours as I shifted into my wolf and took off into the woods.

~~~Dimitri's POV~~~

I saw Brody come back in the house and I made my way over to him.

"Hey, where's Lionel?" I asked him. He visibly swallowed and his eyes searched the room as he thought of an excuse.

"Outside on a run." He said looking me in my eyes. I crossed my arms and raised an eyebrow.

"Why?"

Brody shifted on his feet.

"He needed to clear his head." He answered.

"He found his mate didn't he?" I asked. Brody eyes slightly went wide before he regained his composure.

"And don't think about lying." I told him.

"Yea....he did."

"It's Caleb isn't it?" I questioned smiling smugly. His eyes went wide again and his mouth hung open.

"How do you-"

"I'm pretty sure everyone but Caleb himself could smell his arousal when Caleb called his name in the kitchen. Then all of a sudden it was gone." I cut him off.

"Don't tell Caleb! Please." Brody pleaded with me.

"I won't tell him. I want him to find out himself. It won't take long." I stated. Brody gave me a confused look.

"What do you mean? He's not eighteen so he won't know till he is." He asked.

"Caleb's already felt sparks from his mate. I'm sure he not far from finding out." I told him.

"So Caleb will find out pretty soon?"

"I wouldn't be surprised if he began to feel his mate tomorrow."
