It'd been a few weeks since Maja had first noticed him.

In fact, it had been two weeks, two days and a few hours. It had been on Wednesday morning during lunch. She gazed at him, and she found he was beautiful.

Suddenly he was everywhere. Him and his beautiful brown hair. Maja found herself, on more than one occasion, at how perfect his nape was. How effortlessly the hair seemed to start and then flow into tan skin.

She wondered why other people didn't like him. Surely the girls in his year must be all over him?

When she saw him, he was usually with his friends. No girls. Just friends. She was surprised to say the least.

When she asked her friend, Ben, in the year below, he had a similar answer. 

"Yeah, he keeps to himself. Why do you ask?"

"Just trying to figure out all the new people." She forced a smile. "Before we go on camp and all. What's his name?"
