"You look cute tonight." Xukun smiled. "Dummy, this is a phone call." Linong chuckled at Xukun's remark. "Make sure you wear something casual. It's really hot out here." and with that, he disconnected his call.

Xukun had been acting weird the whole time which made Linong wonder what was wrong with him. They had another final assignment together. And since they were best friends, they got paired up again for the fifth time. Not that they were complaining anyhow. They were supposed to meet at their usual cafe around four in the evening. It was summertime soon and this was what they hated the most. It meant no piles of blankets and also no heaters and no matching socks. The past three months had brought a huge change in the minds of them. Ever since that day, Linong had distanced himself from everyone else at school. Everybody wondered what had happened to the sunshine. Zhengting had moved schools back at Taiwan as he wanted some space for himself. Reconsidering how much he was hurt, they all understood both of their situations. Now that it was almost four months into their exchange programme, it meant that they had only two months left before they would return back to Taiwan. 

Changing into a simple tee and black jeans Linong slammed his door as usual as he headed towards his kitchen. The others were all out on some kind of 'walk'. As he opened the fridge and went through the upper shelf, he found a packet of Oreos. Trying his hard to fight back the memory, he couldn't help but a tear trickle down his cheeks.

"I love Oreos when I'm with you." His sweet voice chuckled as he munched on an oreo. 

"Why are these so hard to find here in Changsa?" He would always complain when they ran out of stock at the Spencer's.

"Why do you love Oreos so much?"  Linong chuckled against Zhengting's chest. "Because they are sweet as you." Zhengting would smile.

Holding the packet in his hands he tore it open as he munched on a piece himself. The sweet-savory flavor made his face aquiver. 

Maybe it was the time to change his flavor.

Knocking on the door, he felt a pair of eyes stare at him through the door. Xukun opened the door smiling. He couldn't help but hug the other who hugged back. But as soon as he loosened his grip he could feel a pair of lips on his forehead. Blushing a light ting of peach, Xukun gripped his hands and walked towards their room. The papers were scattered all over the room which made Xukun mentally slap himself. He wanted to make it a perfect evening. Silently settling down, Linong took out his notes as they sat on the opposite ends of the bed. Suddenly, Linong jumped up from the bed as he took his notes and started explaining Xukun all the basic information they needed to know before starting their project. Xukun was leaning against the wall as he tilted his head towards the window. He was staring at Linong as if he were the only thing he cared about in this whole world. Which Linong indeed was. Linong suddenly stopped as he realized that Xukun was quite all this time and was staring at nowhere. He suddenly clicked his fingers in front of him as Xukun snapped out. Sighing Linong murmured, "So you were spaced out this whole time. Right?" Xukun nodded as Linong flicked his head. Linong couldn't believe his eyes. "Did anyone ever tell you that you were so cute when you murmured like that?" Xukun blurted out as Linong stared at him in disbelief. "Wha-" Linong was cut-off with a strong pair of hands pulling him by his waist as Xukun connected his lips to Linong's. 

"Don't you dare be this cute again. You are so illegal." Xukun whispered as he broke the kiss.
"Also, get ready. We're going out on a date in twenty minutes." Xukun winked as he pushed the younger ones at the changing room. "Also wear any of my clothes. You look good in everything anyway." Xukun clicked his tongue. For a moment he felt that he was the luckiest of them all!
