[Diary entry #5: February 6, 2020]

While I was checking Instagram, knowing that barely anyone would follow me or like my posts, an ad for Tinder popped up among the vast sea of recommendations and I accidentally clicked it. That made me come up with an idea.

If people in real life turned me down after just seeing me or saying hello, would they turn me down on social media as well? Well, people may say that Tinder is one of the worst ways to find your soulmate, but, since I was so desperate, I decided to try and give it a chance.

Nothing could go wrong, right?

Well, this is what I thought until Seho brought Hyena and two more friends of his, Lee Sangyoon and Yeo Byeongguk. To be honest, I'm not a fan of them. Whenever they come round, they treat me like I'm their servant or, worse, make stupid assumptions over my sexuality, as if they knew.

Fortunately for me, they weren't here to ask me to buy alcohol for them while they were watching football games with Seho hyung or making up fake news about me possibly being gay. Originally, they just meant to watch WWE matches while getting badly hungover.

Unfortunately, Seho and Hyena found out about me joining Tinder and had the not so brilliant idea of telling them. Their reaction might've been hilarious for my brother, but not for me. Byeongguk said that Tinder is mostly used by gay people or frauds. Sangyoon and Hyena, instead of keeping their mouths shut, preferred laughing behind their back.

I was furious. I didn't expect them to mock me just because I was trying to find a solution to my desperate love life. So, I thought that payback would be a good idea. Knowing that Seho hardly ever turns his back at me, I openly told him that I suspected that Byeongguk himself was lying about his sexuality and might be gay.

Still, someone did turn their back at me, and it was luck, since my hyung ignored me and turned to WWE with those bozos. Their bad, and mine as well. I had the great opportunity to prove them wrong about my idea of joining Tinder, but I guess I'll have another chance, sooner or later.
