Chapter 10
[Diary entry #10: February 11, 2020]
As much as I'd like to tell you a little more about my Tinder activities, something eventful happened. Yeah. Tomorrow is Seho's bachelor party and, guess what? His bozo friends dragged me shopping for a tux. Come on, everyone knows I look pretty awkward in formal attire.
At least, Mom didn't try to set up a date for me, though. If you think it was one of the best days in my life, you're wrong. Sangyoon and Byeongguk constantly snickered whenever the word love was even mentioned, even saying that I was probably the least romantic guy in South Korea and making those usual horrible puns on my sexuality.
That was when I finally lost my cool and blurted out, "Byeongguk hyung, if I were you, I'd shut up since you seem to like guys very much!"
I expected those two idiots to use me as their punching bag and vomit a barrage of insults on me. Guess what? They didn't. They stood there, their mouths wide open and their usual smirk dying out. I have to admit that I didn't think of the possible consequences of my words, though.
When Sangyoon started laughing out of the blue, he turned to Byeongguk. "You? With guys? And why would you make fun of our dongsaeng? Come on, tell us the truth, Byeongguk." He stopped laughing as he realized that his partner in crime couldn't even utter a single word.
After that, I felt guilty for outing him that way and expected some comeuppance to the point that I apologized for my words, but he dismissed them just with a wave of his hands. "That's good. I got what I deserved, right? Next time I'll think twice before making snide comments on your sexuality and your love life."
As we finally went on to look for our tuxedos, we just did our job, left and went back home to flaunt our non existent sense of fashion.
Hopefully, Seho won't think I tried to steal his friends from him, right? After all, Sangyoon and Byeongguk just see me as their dongsaeng!
