When she saw Haider entering the room, her breath got stuck in her throat. Maybe that wasn't enough as he shut the door behind him. Ishmal gulped in fear to find the same dark look in his eyes which once in the past had scared the hell out of her. The biggest hit of his ego which had made him the person like he was today, she had came out to be like this for him. He once said he still hated the people who weren't honest in the relationship and she was portrayed to be exactly the same one. What would he do with her now? This caused her tongue to almost dry.

However, there was love present now. Haider didn't love Nisha but he claimed to actually love her. This would surely let him see the truth.

'As I told you earlier; my heart, my mood, and my consideration only change in front of you. I am still a very bad man, believe me.'

Every color drained from Ishmal's face when she recalled his words from the time she spent a night at his house. She rushed towards him. Many streaks of her dignity had been tainted by her stepfather and she didn't want the rest of them to see the same consequence.

"Haider, I didn't do anything. I am innocent. Please believe me. I am sincere to you," she murmured while her face again got wet with many tears.

Haider cupped the side of her face. "You don't need to give any clarification to me, Ishmal. I know you can never do something like that."

Ishmal's eyes widened in surprise. "Do you think I wasn't involved in this?"

He wiped her cheek with the pads of his fingers. "That's not even an argument. I trusted you enough to bring you back into my life in the first place."

Ishmal smiled while crying at the same time. "I only love you, Haider. I don't know who that guy was. And who is trying to bring me down in front of you."

Haider caressed her cheekbones tenderly. That was the very first time she confessed her love for him. But he wished the situation was different because she wouldn't be standing like this then. He leaned over and kissed her forehead.

This girl was his wife. An innocent, pure, loving, and sincere girl who put her hope in him before coming to his house despite knowing she would be get a warm welcome. She trusted her heart, life, and body with him. How could he even suspect her for a nanosecond when she was the one who came to save his life by risking her own when he was surrounded by goons?

"Don't give me any justifications anymore. I'll figure out who bastard had actually dared to enter my house and tried to disgrace my wife. I won't let him remain in one piece," he announced strictly.

Haider tugged her hair away from her forehead which got stuck due to sweat and blood. There was a big wound there. The bleeding had stopped but now there was a bright red colored scrape.

"What happened here?" He asked, looking back into her eyes.

Ishmal bit her lower lip and shook her head. "Nothing."

Haider immediately understood it and clenched his jaw in anger. "Did Mom do that?"

Ishmal snuck in a breath. She didn't want him to confront his mother because of her. "Haider, it's..."

"Sit here." He held her by her shoulders and made her recline on the bed.

He started searching for something in the drawer and later on, came up with a first aid box. He was so gentle when he bandaged her wound.

"The other family members had got me wrong. Ammi and Abbu they don't seem to believe me. What will I do?" Ishmal suddenly raised her concern.

Haider who was cleaning the blood from her injury paused. "You shouldn't worry about that. Everyone will get to know the truth eventually. And I damn care about anyone's opinion."

"I have lost my prestige once. Heard disgusted words like I attracted my stepfather and I left my house because I was after him and worse I had a boyfriend, from people. I don't want everyone now to say that I cheated on you, Haider when none of this is true. Your family and their opinion matter to me because they are my family now," Ishmal let out everything in one go.

Haider grabbed her hand and pecked her palm. "When I consider you my honor, then I must get the respect for you. Leave it on me as you did when you agreed to come back to me."

"I don't know who is doing that. What I did do that someone is using such low tactics to bring humiliation for me?" She whispered as another tear fell from her eyes.

"I will humiliate all those people, Ishmal, who have hurt you," Haider told her.

Getting satisfied by what he did, he stood up. "Pack your and mine stuffs till morning. I'll send one of the maids to help you."

"Why?" She lifted her gaze at him in confusion.

Haider shrugged his shoulders. "We are leaving tomorrow morning. I'll take you to my own house. We will live there from now on."

"Haider, why are you saying it?" She implored.

"I vowed to always give you respect from my side and from the whole world too. That's why we are going to live separately now because the respect which you truly have the right to, you won't get it here," Haider retorted quickly.

"You shouldn't leave your family because of me," Ishmal mumbled, her brown eyes getting filled again.

Haider tilted his head to her level and slammed his lips over her, by holding her nape from behind. He nibbled on her lower lip hard and started exploring her mouth. The intensity and fierceness were so extraordinary that Ishmal felt that her mind had almost left her body. She moaned in pleasure despite been in such a dreary situation a while ago. But today she enjoyed his possessive kiss the most. He had believed her and didn't ask for any question. He didn't become suspicious of her for a second.

It was too much for her that she felt her heart would explode from beating this fast. Haider snaked one hand under the corner of her shirt and stroked her soft skin sensually. Ishmal thought she would become crazy by this passionate moment soon. Her right hand instinctively reached his chest to hold onto something to bear to sweet torture, but Haider clasped both of her hands by her wrists and settled them on the headrest of the bed closer to her head.

When they pulled away, it took a long time to catch their breath. Ishmal felt that she didn't have any arms until Haider set them free and she was allowed to let them down again.

Haider pressed his palm over her cheek again. "You are my wife, Ishmal. I love you and you are my family too. If my wife doesn't get respect in my own house, I won't tolerate it. I am sending the maid. Just pack the things. Okay?"

Ishmal didn't say anything now. What would happen now? She didn't want to separate Haider from his family but it seemed inevitable now as he wouldn't listen to even her now.

After leaving Ishmal in the room, Haider arrived near the main gate. Seeing one of the guards almost sleeping on the stool, he had lost his calm. He had asked them about how came an intruder entered their house. Hearing a frightened we don't know from them, he felt on the verge of bursting out. That was the reason he punched the sleeping guard in his face. The guy might either have used this negligence to come or either jumped from the back gate.

On examining the area surrounding the back gate, everything became clear. The jerk had used this as was evident from his footsteps on the mud. Haider then checked the CCTV footage and it showed the exact happening from a few hours ago. The guy was really unknown and he couldn't recognize him.

He sent the details of this guy from the video to his subordinate. He was sure very soon, he would get his hand on him and then, he would question his being on this earth and the decision to actually mess up with him.

No one didn't even realize when the night passed and now the day was on its full might. Haider turned his head and glanced at a sleeping Ishmal. She was panicking so much that he had to get her calm down by giving her a sleeping pill. Her cheeks still had tear marks on them and that awful bandage was looking so disjoined on her innocent, charming face. Haider reached near her and kissed her forehead.

Evacuating the bed, his eyes found the packed suitcases plopping near the en suite. Ishmal had again asked him not to leave his house, and his family because of her but Haider didn't listen. In the end, she had to abide him.

Haider took a quick shower. When he was back in the room, Ishmal was still sleeping. Laying a last glance at her, he came out. His head was hurting so much. He suddenly craved for a hot cup of tea and that too from Unaiza's hands. After that incident, he couldn't get to sleep. He remained awake for the whole night, thinking about the consequences of what was going to happen.

When he reached the kitchen, no one was there. He sighed and started preparing tea for himself. When Unaiza arrived in the kitchen and saw Haider, she walked towards him.

"Haider Bhai, leave it. I'll make it," she offered, trying to take the pan from him but Haider resisted.

"No thanks. I can do this myself," he talked dryly.

Unaiza's heart fell into a deep pit at this. He never seemed this distant before. Whatever the occasion was, he always preferred the morning tea made by her. Even in Ishmal's presence, it never changed.  "Are you angry, Haider Bhai?"
