               ••|A Few Days Later |••

The morning brought a message of the very good day it was going to be today. Not that it wasn't going amazing for her for the last two weeks. But today she is extra happy. It had been a while since their discrete dating was happening. Ishmal mostly used her school timing for it and Haider also never asked for more than this yet for which she was thankful. Ishmal was enjoying every moment together with him. She saw him as a person whom he never brought in front of her before. And this was making her to fall in love with him more and more.

They got to know so many things about each other in this time period. Likes, dislikes, preferences, tastes, and much more than this. Even though their choices never matched each other that much but somehow, they complimented each other. They fetched a very nice contrast which enhanced the attraction of their relationship.

Today Ishmal chose a light purple dress to wear. Not too fancy but its intricate threadwork made it look decent and beautiful. She applied a bit of makeup too. Purple was Haider's favorite color and she decided to give him a surprise today by coming in front of him in his loved color. As was the case with a few last dates of there, she let her hair free and fell on her back. Haider had asked her once that he wanted to see her hair open and she had been doing that since then. Diligently placing the dupatta over her head, she checked her final look.

Getting satisfied, she came out with her handbag over her shoulder. In the dining room, her family was already seated for breakfast.

"AssalamoAlaikum!" She greeted everyone with a smile and dragged her chair to sit.

"Walaikum Assalam." Farah glanced up at her from head to toe. "Is there any function at school today?"

Ishmal who was making a morsel of the delicious potato-filled paratha paused at her words.

She shook her head. "No, there's no such thing."

"Hmm. Have breakfast. Your Nano especially makes these potato-filled parathas for you. You love them, right?" Farah said.

Ishmal kissed her grandmother's cheek. "Thanks Nano. You know that I am weak for them and you exactly got me at my weak point."

"Your weak point. Yes," Farah sighed before again diving into her plate.

Ishmal looked at her in confusion. Why her mother's behavior wasn't looking right. She had been meeting Haider without telling her. She first wanted to get to know him better and to see that he really decided to approach her again because he wished to have her back in his life. And now when both of these things were occurring as she got to realize that Haider truly wanted their marriage, she decided to involve her family now.

Today Haider brought her to a beech. It flared alongside the water and steadied the shiny grains of the sand. It gave a feel of life, a feel of freshness and glory. It gave a sense of relief to the rocks. The sand was a hue of gold and the sense in her hands was like a smooth material. As they were seated on the ground looking at the high waves of water moving up and down, Ishmal was constantly trying to catch the sand in her hand. But every time it slipped between her fingers and she grinned. She never seemed this happy to Haider before. The birds were chirping and gliding in the sky, giving this moment a perfect sight to behold.

He glanced at her who was looking so charming today. Her joy was evident from her glowing face as she was enjoying a place where she truly wanted to visit. Those adorable pink lines on her cheeks again became evident. And he realized they came whenever she was delighted. That blush which made him want to do many things with her. To make her forget everything and only he remained in her memory. To get her drunk without any drugs.

Haider couldn't wait to make her an addict of his presence, his heart, and his body. Because that was what she was doing with him. He wanted to claim every bit of her by his love.

Ishmal noted his intense gaze on him and turned her head toward him. Her blush increased more at his never-moving eyes. Haider groaned at the sight. He couldn't wait any longer for now. He did it enough.

"What's wrong?" She whispered.

If he would tell her this answer, perhaps she would already match a tomato. He grabbed her left hand and touched her ring finger; exactly over the place where she had been wearing the ring.

"I am wondering for a perfect moment to again see my ring on your finger," he said with a twisted curl of his lip.

"So what's that?" She asked back.

Haider smirked. "Impatient to hear that, Ishmal?"

Ishmal bit her lower lip. "What are you talking about, Mr..."

Her eyes fell wide open when she realized she was again about to call him Mr. Ishmal now barely called his name. And whenever she had to, she did a lot of mind checks to not include Mr. She remembered when the first time, she said his name without this tag, she had cringed so much due to embarrassment. It almost felt like she had done something to show herself revealing a bit in front of him. But in flow, she knew Mr. wouldn't leave her tongue for some time. And now it happened. She suddenly remembered his statement from the rooftop that day and gulped.

Haider again smiled darkly. That overwhelming one which always caused her to be over the edge as it made him a lot a hundred times hotter. He came closer to her and Ishmal stiffened in her place. If he kissed her like this in public, she would melt and become a part of this sea due to shyness.

"I didn't realize, Haider...That...." She murmured.

"Shh," he whispered talked. "Two can play at that game then, Mrs. Ishmal Haider. What do you think?"

"Haider, there are many people here," she enlightened him.

"Say it again," he suddenly spoke.

Ishmal raised a brow. "What?"

"My name. Say it," he urged him.

Ishmal licked her lips due to timidness. "Haider."

"Once again," he announced.

"Haider, what are you...." She had to stop as he started laughing loudly.

He first time laughed this carefree in front of her. And she wouldn't deny, he had a beautiful and wholesome smile. It even made her lips spread as well.

"You never said my name this much in our whole duration of seeing each other than today," he asserted, still amusedly.

Ishmal brooded. "You are very bad."

He shrugged his shoulders. "I know."

He got up and held his hand out for her. "Come on. Let's go."

"Where?" He was so tall that she felt like while trying to meet his sight, she would overstretch her neck.

"To check out the other things. We aren't going to sit here for the whole time," he said.

Ishmal placed her soft hand in his palm and stood up too beside him. And like always that day wasn't any less incredible than the former ones. Now they both realized that they didn't enjoy the sights. They liked everything because of each other's company. Even if they would spend a day in the desert, they would still love it because it would be the two of them together.

"It's been months Haider. Why aren't you getting rid of that girl?" On the dinner table, Aqia again pointed out.

Haider looked at her with tightly pressed lips. It was after a long time, that Aqia decided to talk on this topic again. The biggest reason was Izmir. He mostly used to live here in his days of staying in this city. Aqia herself had asked him to even not bother about any hotel and live in their house. It was a while ago when he excused himself to have dinner with some of his friends.

"I am not going to divorce her," he answered stiffly.

Everyone became attentive to this conversation and even his words had stunned everyone.

"Why? You have to do that then why are you delaying it?" Tashfeen intruded as usual between mother and son.

Haider left his fork and moved his hand in the air. "I think so I answered you. I am not giving her a divorce. Not now not in the future. I am seeing her out again and very soon, Ishmal will come back here as my wife."

Aqia glared at him while everyone was amazed at what he said. Though Unaiza had a relieving smile on her lips slowly.

"Are you out of your mind? Who again licks something which he had spit in the past?" Aqia snarled in anger.

"Excuse me, Mom? What's this idiom have anything to do with Ishmal and my marriage?" Haider inquired.

Aqia raised a hand at him. "Because that's what you are doing now. I won't accept that girl again. Bear that in your mind."
