A knock on the door made me open my eyes

A package, the delivery man said

It was a small box, which I thought was a necklace

Turns out it was another ring, just like the one I wore

A letter came in the mail the next day

A heart designed on the middle

I knew it was you, I couldn't be mistaken

A smile plastered on my face then

I read them, of course, darling

Thought that I was only dreaming

But once I held the paper tight to my chest
