You hadn't seen your grandparents since you turned 21, they moved away from New York and you missed them more than you could put into words, you had hoped you could visit them for your 29th, the first birthday you were having since returning but you couldn't afford to travel to see them. Michaela knew how much you wanted to see them and she hadn't told you anything about her plan to fly them out to surprise you at the birthday party she was throwing for.

You woke up to a empty bed on the morning of your 29th, stretching and pushing back the covers you pulled yourself out of bed, the cold December air sending shivers down your spine. You grabbed your dressing gown and pulled it on tying it round the front before you left the spare bedroom of the stone's which you and Michaela stayed in last night as to Olive and Cal requested, you thought it was strange since it wasn't even Christmas yet and for the last few years you had been staying over on Christmas Eve.

"Happy Birthday Y/N" everyone yelled as you came down the stairs. Grace had made pancakes for everyone and Michaela had the look on her face as if to say she has something planned but not wanting to give it away.

"Thank you" you said in shock as you saw two balloons in the corner of the room, they were the numbers of your age 2 and 9. You spent the morning with your girlfriends family before you had to go in to work for a few hours but Michaela was picking you up afterwards but she wouldn't tell you why.  You finished work at 5pm and just as planned Michaela was parked outside with a wide smile on her face.

"So are you going to tell me what you have planned?" You asked Michaela as you climbed into the car.

"It's a surprise" Michaela grinned waiting for you to buckle your seatbelt before she drove off. As you approached the stone residents you looked over to Michaela confused, curious to what was happening. The lights were off, that was obviously. The two of you got out of the car and Michaela lead you inside flicking the light switch as you entered.

"Suprise!!" A chorus of voice called out, your eyes fell upon your grandparents.

"Pops! Nana!" You cried running over to hug your grandparents. The place decided with black and pink balloons and banners on the wall too.

"Did you do all this?" You then turned to Michaela who smiled happily wrapping her arms around you.

"I knew how much you wanted to see your grandparents so I had them flown out, I organised this party and wanted to make it special for you" Michaela smiled kissing for forehead gently.

"Thank you Mick' thank you" you whispered kissing Michaela like nobody was watching. You couldn't thank her enough before you went and spoke with your grandparents. You were genuinely happy, excited and loved it all. The party was amazing and you couldn't thank Michaela enough for flying your grandparents out for your birthday, it was perfect.
