Mrs. Reynolds finally went upstairs to I'm assuming her office. It was silent between the girls and I.

" Fucking finally, she's gone." Says Peggy laughing slightly. She looks like she's about my age, or younger. She comes over to me and gives me a huge hug.

" Peggy! Language! If Maria or even the master catches you saying those words... you will get punished!" Angelica comes to Peggy and pulls her off of me. " Plus, you're probably scaring our guest." Peggy just rolls her eyes. She comes back to me and gives me another hug. Her hugs were warm and cozy. She might be smaller than me, but it feels nice.

" Don't worry. Master isn't as bad as you probably think. He's actually a really nice master. Sometimes, he will give you days off if you are good and clean the house good too! Then you can hang out with the crew!" Rambled Peggy.

Sally was just listening to the conversation while cleaning with a smile on her face. " Don't forget. We have to teach him how to clean." She reminds. Again, Peggy rolls her eyes and continues rambling about this things.

" Peggy! Let's go!" Whispered Angelica loudly.

" Come' er John. Ignore the sicko sisters. Let's get you dressed." Sally came over and walked me away from the two sisters. We headed upstairs and it was just as big as downstairs. We went into a room that was huge but had multiple twin size beds. I'm guessing this is where the girls sleep. It looks nice in here. Better than I expected. Each bed has a different color bed sheet. One was red so that must be Angelica's. Another one was yellow. Then their was a green one. We went to the bed with the green sheets.

" Is green ok with you?" Sally asked going up to the closest getting my uniform.

" It's my favorite color."

She smiles. I sit on the bed and feel a bit of discomfort. The beds were... kinda hard. I really shouldn't be complaining. At least I have a bed, while other people in this world have no bed and sleep on the floor. Sally comes back with my uniform from the closet. " Each color represent us. So your green m'Kay?" I nod. " You probably don't see a ribbon in my hair but mine is an ankle bracelet. Navy blue."

I have never thought it would take me about 20 minutes to get on a dress, but it did. Imagine, using up 20 minutes of your morning just to put on a dress! It's sad.

We were finish with my dress and Sally had to get my ribbon from another room. So I was just here....alone, in this big room. I should explore!

My mind was telling me to not explore and wait for Sally to get your ribbon so you can start cleaning. Buuuuuuuuutt my heart want to explore this huge house and meet new people.

So you know what I did?

I got up and left the room. The hallway was big full of door and art on the walls. Everything was beautiful. My house before was only about half this size.

I looked threw every single room, until I heard.......singing?

It came from the last room of the hallway and the door was creaked open. The voice was beautiful. I slowly walked to the door to see another slave. She was scrubbing the floor or a huge ballroom. She had light skin and had a light blue ribbon. I saw a bed with light blue sheets in the bedroom so it was probably her's.

" You have a wonderful voice." I say walking in which causes her to jump.

" I'm John-"

" Don't walk on the floors! I just cleaned them! Here!" She throws me some slippers. I take off my flats and walk to where she was cleaning.

" Sorry. I almost ruined your cleaning." I say taking out another floor brush and dipped it in water. I start to scrub the floor.

" It's ok. You're new." She sees the way I scrub the floors and fixes my hands " This is the way master want us to scrub the floors." I nodded and continue to scrub the way she showed me.

" I'm Elizabeth, but you can call me Eliza." She turns to me. I'm give a smile in return. " I'm John."

She looks down to see what I was wearing. I face heats up at the embarrassment. I hate the dress but I don't want to displease anyone on the first day. I fix the skirt as it was digging into my waist. " May I ask why you are wearing a women's uniform?"

" Ummmm.... They don't have a men's indoor uniform."

" JOHN! Ive been looking all over for you!" I turn around to see Sally with a ribbon in her hand. I completely forgot about Sally and my green ribbon. Oops.

" I'm so sorry. I was just-"

" Come' re. I need to get you fully dressed and teach you before master finds out you ran!"

I felt bad for Sally. She must of been really scared. If Mr. Hamilton found out I wandered off and disturbed Eliza's cleaning, I would be punished. I wave bye to Eliza and ran across the ballroom to meet Sally. She quickly tied my hair up and we went downstairs. I saw Peggy and Angelica who were now in the kitchen scrubbing the floors. Sally quickly pulled me into the kitchen. " What were you doing talking to Lizard?"  I was kinda scared. Will the snitch on me?
Peggy and Angelica's eyes widen.
" You mean Eliza?"

" You were talking to Eliza?" Said Peggy.

" I was curious, she as singing and I thought it was pretty so I talked to her." I said looking down. " I'm sorry"

" Don't be sorry. You just don't know what's going on. Just, don't do it again." Sally and I hug

" But she seems so nice-"

" Don't talk to her."

U like? I'm actually really liking the plot of this story so far. Don't worry, Alex will pop out soon. I was watching Sesame Street with my brothers and I had to go upstairs for a sec. Then I heard someone that sounded like Lin Manuel Miranda so I ran down the stairs and tripped. Turns out it wasn't him.
