Malhotra Family: Punjabi's settled in Banglore

Dadi, modern outlook with conservative thoughts, the eldest member of the family, loves his Ladla, Manik dearly n worried for him... Is happy recently as his son, Raj, has recovered from his coma state n gaining health.

Nyonika (Nyo), wife of Raj Malhotra, mother of Mukti, Cabir, Dhruv n Manik... loves them very much... Is very happy as his husband has finally gained consciousness... And her son is going to get her a daughter-in-law.   But worried about Manik a lot.

Raj Malhotra had met with an accident 1 and half years back but was luckily saved by someone, who died on spot, not before telling his last wish to raj. ... Later Raj had to undergo heart transplantation but unfortunately slipped into a coma for more than 1 year... ... He gained consciousness a week back but has forgotten about his savior.

Mukti, the eldest child of Malhotras, happily married to Abhimanyu Thakkar, a doctor. Is running a Fashion house named 'Be U' along with her mom, Nyo n Alya.

Cabir n Dhruv has been handling their Dad's Malhotra Companies efficiently in his absence, Whereas Manik is into online game developing n owns the technology department of Malhotra companies. His 1st ever game is very famous making him n his company popular...

Dhrulya in relationship n Cabir is engaged to Navya a year back but his marriage got postponed due to Raj's conditions... But know, their wedding is scheduled in after 15days.

Coming to Cavya... it's like Coffee pite pite Pyaar ho Gaya... "Dono ki kya mast Jodi hai... Ek Pagal dusri pagli..." this is what u'll get to hear from everyone.

Manik:  24yrs youngest Malhotra... The perfect one will be an understatement... looks, height, body, intelligence n brain is superb... The most happy-going, free, kind, strong, brave, and a positive soul... has an amazing voice n played guitar... uploading his songs in his youtube channel...

But 6 months ago, one truth of his life shook his existence as a man... he couldn't believe it when he discovered that he is suffering from 'erectile dysfunction'...he is undergoing treatment... but words from doctors don't make him satisfied much nor show any progress...

  After that, the dark phase of his life started-- his college time girlfriend dumped him... He is stuck in between with the new game he is developing but couldn't get the idea nor concentrate on it... He has started bad habits of drinking n smoking... Which is known to his family, but they r all busy with Raj n anyhow Manik didn't listen to them anymore... He lives in his separate penthouse as he doesn't want his family to worry when his dad is not well... He has now turned into an irritable, angry, frustrated man, impulsive n short-tempered too...

Let's start with...

Navya Naveli, 23yrs old, owns her own coffee shop as she is Barista, a famous one.. daughter of a higher middle-class businessman... She had met Cabir first time in a cafe with coffee...

Navya has a great bonding with Nandini whom she called 'Nini'... Actually, Navya's mansion n Nandini's house r in the same locality, so, Navya's family shares a good relation with Nandu n her father...

After Nandu's Dad, Surya Murty's death, Nandini started working in Navya's cafe... Even Navya's parents treat her like their own n share a sweet bonding.

Then, Nandini/ Nandu/ Nans/ Nini...

 Nandini just got 19yrs old on Feb 14th.

She is a 1st-year computer science student... the computer department goddess, who excels in her studies...  She is bright, intelligent and helpful, cheerful n talkative...

She got into the college with a complete scholarship with her own hard work n dedicated studies even when she was in the saddest phase of her life as her dad died in an accident a year ago before her 12th finals...

Her birth-mom, Zareena died of cancer when 11yrs old... then dad was her lifeline, friend, companion, everything...

But then,  her Amms(Father's mother) forced his dad to remarry, at least for the sake of nandu who they felt needed a motherly love...  It's not like Amms hate Nandini, instead, she cares for her... Even after Surya's death, knowing her new Bahu's karnaame(behavior), she called Nandu to her, Mangalore... She wanted her to leave her studies n get married soon  ... *Typical old thoughts*

Han! ... So, As per Amms wish finally, his father got her a Stepmom with a stepbrother 'free'.

Actually, Nans' dad is originally South Indian and her mom, a Muslim girl who did love marriage... Their marriage was against everyone's will so, her maternal family cut off all their contacts... Even Amms was not very happy with the inter-religion marriage.

Surya Murty used to work as a Mechanical engineer for Malhotra Companies, So, they r not very rich but a middle-class family with a small 3bhk house and an Alto car...

Even her mother got a 100acre barren land in the outskirt which has no economical value at the time being...

Coming to her stepmom, Salini, whose 1st husband left her due to her nature. She is one of the cruel, money minded and self-obsessed woman, .... wants more n more jewelry, make-up n beauty treatments...

As she didn't get anything from her 1st husband, she was adamant to get everything from Surya Murty. For that she always acted like a sweet, caring n motherly figure for Nandu as she very well knew that Surya Murty was marrying her only for her daughter.

But her acting came to halt... and she became her real self after Surya's death... She took away all his property to herself n her son, not even giving Nans a single penny for her daily expenses, let her college n tuition fees.

And ya! She did give her share, What?... The barren land left by her late mother saying " I'm not a bad stepmom like of cinderella's who won't give her rights to her child equally"

Really?... U r worse than Cindrella's stepmom... u bitch!

Even though Nans is smart but the grieve of her dad's death made her ignore everything she needed to notice...

N her stepbrother, Maddy ika Madhyaam Murty, 1yr older than Nans... A badass, selfish and money-lover... "Like mother like son" ... He is searching for a job in IT sector with his degree of MBA... Knew only how to spend dad's money... But good for nothing...

Coming to Nandini's Universities where she got admission with a complete scholarship... But she has to pay fees for stay i.e hostel fees, then, tuition fees, fees to buy books n accessories... Which she didn't have...

Hence, with the insistence of Navya's dad, the University authority agreed for her to stay outside hostel n not pay hostel fees... So, Nandini used to stay at her home or should I say her stepmom's house... But how can Salini let her stay for free... she made her do all the household works instead.

Nandini's day starts with doing the household works then University, then Job at Cafe till night n then back at home... She didn't attend any tuition or extra class apart from college time... After a full tiresome day, she needs to study till mid-night n make assignments... She hardly gets time herself...

Nandini, a bright, cheerful n talkative girl has now turned into a more mature, responsible n practical girl... the time has given her a reality check... Showing the real faces of her so-called family n friends...

NOW, her real old Nandini is only seen by a few of her friends, true friends, one of which is Navya.

One more thing,... Nans has a keen interest in gadgets, mobiles n technology... She has learned so much about repairing different machines from her dad... Recently, she had brought a Tab secretly with her own money n herself installed technology making it talked with her in her Dad's voice... 'She really misses her Dad a lot!'
