The next day after the reception

Nandini's back to her normal troublesome, hard-laboring, robotic life after completion of Cavya's wedding.
The moment she entered her house, more precisely her stepmom's house, she is welcomed by a pile of unwashed dirty clothes of a week, and a bunch of unwashed utensils, dirt around the house, while Salini is busy with her beauty treatment in her room and loud music I coming from Maddy's room. With a sigh, she gets back to clean the mess forgetting the mess of her life.

Navya n Cabir went to spend a day with Navya's parents for Pag Phera. Her parents welcome their daughter and son-in-law with a grand lunch. The couple has to spend the night at her parent's place as per the ritual so they got involved in that.
While Manik got back to his penthouse and office with his mind on 'Nandini and marriage'.

While on the other side, Rai n Nyo arranged a meet with Salini n Maddy in an expensive restaurant through Raj's PA. After Nandu walked out for her college, both her steps got ready in presentable clothing n got out to meet this rich personality.

At the restaurant

"Wow Mom, this is cool. Rich people r so cool to book this whole 5-star restaurant for just a meet-up." Maddy exclaimed looked around the lavish its architecture while they got seated at a designated place showed by the waitress.

"But why did the owner of Malhotra companies want to meet us?" He asked turning at her Mom who's gawking the expensive place with open mouth.

"Do u forget ur Dad worked at Malhotra companies?" She said not looking at her son but eyeing the expensive painting hung at the wall. 'Renting this place would have cost at least 50,000' she thought in awe...

"My Dad? But I knew that he's a grocery shop owner when we left?" Maddy asked puzzled thinking about his biological father.

"U idiot! I'm talking about Surya Murty, ur late father. ...Stupid fellow" Salini cursed him irritatedly for breaking her admiration of this lavish place with his stupid question.

Maddy made an unwanted face hearing her mom but remained silent knowing her. But he couldn't contain himself of the curiosity and asked: "But Why will he call to meet us after years of Dad's death?"

This gains Salini's attention and she spoke out all the probabilities she's thought before "I think it's about Money!
Maybe Surya had done some scam, but knowing him, he was a good and hardworking man like his daughter. So, Maybe they're going to reward us for his work or something"

Before they could run their mind more, Raj and Nyonika walked in dressed up in royal style. Raj in a full formal designer suit while Nyo in an expensive designer saree and wearing a gold set which immediately caught Salini's eyes who stood up in their welcome along with Maddy.

"Hope we don't make u wait for long" Raj commented taking the seat and a waitress came to take the order.

"Good Morning Sir" She greeted Raj "Good Morning Ma'am" then Nyonika who nodded in return. "Good Morning Ma'am and Sir" She then greeted Salini who tried nodding like Nyo and Maddy who gave her a flirty smile.

"What can I get for u?" She asked placing the menu in front of them.

"Well, Hum Ghar se khakar aye hain so, two cups of latte and a plate of Lamingtons for us." Nyonika placed the order. "Aap kya lenge?" She asked Salini n Maddy who r going through the menu and its expensive prices.

"Ji, Hum kahan itna mehnga(expensive)..." Salini's poverty n dukh-bhari Kahani is cut off by Raj

"U can order whatever u want, we'll pay the bill."

Salini's eyes twinkled and she knew she won't let the chance of tasting food from 5-star hotel, pass so easily... "Wasse humna ghar me zyada kuch nahi kaya tha" she lower her voice "Ladki ne khana jala di thi" That was true as Nandu had placed the curry on the stove and get engrossed in washing the heap of clothes that it got all burned. But it's not true that they hadn't eaten, instead, it's Nandu who's punished not to eat while the mom-son made her cook a quick dish for them.

"This... this and this" Salini finger pointed the names of expensive dishes on the menu to the waitress as she can't even pronounce its name like it's the price. While Maddy too is no less.

Raj-Nyo shared knowing looks judging them both.

"So, we've called u to talk about an important topic which is related to u. But we want it." Raj started leaning back on the chair. Salini n Maddy shared a confused look.

"Main samjhi nahi? We don't have anything valuable to give a wealthy person like u!" Salini pointed.

"Nah! u have! And we're here to get it from u and in return, u and ur son will also get benefited." Raj started like a businessman making them more confused.

"What is it?" Salini raised her brow while thinking about the plots and lands she owns.

"Nandini"

"What??" both Salini and Maddy didn't expect this.

"Yes! Mrs. Salini. We want ur daughter, Nandini as our daughter-in-law" Nyo confirmed.

"But... But why Nandini? What she did? How do u know her? And why her as ur DIL when u can get more high-class girls for ur son?" Salini questioned.

 "We've our source to know about her and she didn't do anything. Aur rahi baat high-class girls ki toh hume aapki Beti, Nandini hi chahiye as our Daughter-in-law" Nyo answered tactfully. While Salini's fox-clever mind processed everything weighing the reasons, gains, and losses.

Meanwhile, the waitress arrived with the order and bend over to arrange it in front of everyone in order. When bending her cleavages got visible to Maddy who's staring at her with lusty eyes and touching her in the process of picking the plates n spoons. Raj noticed this.

"Mrs. Salini, don't think much. We know that u don't treat ur daughter well and don't want her so, there shouldn't be any worries for u giving her to us." Raj mentioned sipping his latte while Salini's eyes widen.

"Why won't I treat her well. She's my daughter n I know how to treat her when she does mistake" Salini stated sternly while digging her food. She's still processing the pros n cons of this while Raj thought it's time for the final step.

"I heard that ur son is hunting for a job. I can give him a post in our company so he won't face problems in rejection of interviews anymore." Raj started and Maddy looked up from his plate in happiness.

"As we'll be in-laws and u'll get tied up with a reputed n rich family like us, u'll also get jewelleries n gifts as marriage gifts." Raj added forcing Salini to dream about the expensive 'Naulakha haar' on her neck and big diamond earrings sets which she can show off to her friends and make them jealous.

"So, what do u think of our proposal, Salini Ji?" Nyo aksed sipping her latte.

"Ji... aab aap itna bool rahe hain toh... what can we say more?" Salini finally gave in and agreed to the mouth-watering deal.

"Toh thik hai! Shaadi kal hogi!" Raj declared making everyone shocked, Nyo included who thought Raj'll say after a week at least, not tomorrow!

"What? Kal? Par itni jaldi kaisse?" Salini questioned shocked.

"Yes! Tomorrow only. u don't have to worry about anything. We'll make it a small ceremony with close family members only in the temple tomorrow evening.
U just come dressed along with Nandini and get her married." Raj declared.

"Raj, why is the marriage tomorrow? I thought we'll give them at least a week." Nyo questions as soon as they r alone.

"Even I thought that before. But don't u notice that Madhyaam's dirty graze at that waitress. Main humari Nandu ko aur ek pal bhi waha akele nahi rehne de sakta!" Raj clarifies with a fatherly heart. Nyo smiled.

"Okay! Main sab tayaariya karwa deti hun" Nyo said placing a hand of her husband's shoulder in support.

"Ok! We need to tell the rest of our family about it too. Let's tell them together when Cabir and Navya come" Raj suggested n Nyo nodded.

Later at night in Murty's house

Maddy's out partying with his friends on the occasion of getting job 'baithe-baithe'.

And Salini's dreaming and gossiping around her friend circle and flaunting how she got a proposal from a rich family.

While Nandini's late after extra class in order to pass her absence for a week. Navya's told her to take some days leave from cafe work to complete her absence college work.

"Where r u till this late at night? Itni badi ladki ko evening ke baad ghar se nahi nikalna chahiye, Don't u know that?" Salini shouted as soon as Nandu entered the house tired after lots of writing n absent work.

"Collage main extra classes tha." Nandu answered not wanting to talk anymore.

"Extra classes tha, yah ladko ke saath gulchareey uda rahi thi!" She commented venomously making Nandu look up at her in disbelieve.

"Jo bhi hai, Full Stop laga. Tumhari Shaadi fix karli hai, kal evening ko tayaar ho jana." She added making Nandu shocked with the revelation.

'Phir se Shaadi. Uncle-Aunty toh meri Manik ke saath Shaadi karwane ki soch rahe hai. Then whose proposal did Sallumaa brought? And tomorrow Shaadi?' Nandu's mind processed horrified.

"Shaadi? Kaisse? Kaun? Kisske saath?" She questioned loudly.

"Chilaa maat! It's a rich family. They came with the proposal asking for this marriage." Salini stated making Nandu lost in her 'khatarnak' thoughts.

'Ohh! So, she's selling me to some rich family in return for money. Jarroor Kissi Budha(old) Aameer se Shaadi fix kiya hoga!

Kahan fhass gayi tu, Nandu?
Isse achha toh Manik se Shaadi kar lungi. He's young n handsome at least. Thoda Arrogant, angry, Khadoos, irritating and serious type ka ladka hai. Par Budhaao se toh kafi accha hoga! Moreover woh thoda sweet n caring bhi laga mujhe, when he wept my tears and kissed my forehead like Appa does.'

"Mr. Malhotra is a very wealthy person and ur Dad too worked in his company." She added breaking my thoughts and I sighed in relief hearing Malhotra.

'Oh! So, she's talking about Raj Uncle!' I release the breath I was holding unknowingly.

"Laikeen... How did he know u? Did u meet him somewhere?" She eyed my questioningly making me nervous.

'What should I say? Why's she eyeing me like that? Did she know that I lied and went for Di's wedding function? Oh no!'

But a call from Salini's gossip-friend came in Nandu's rescue and she left much to Nandu's delight. Nandu sighed and get to her room thinking about the whole thing.

Next morning

When Cavya returns home after breakfast, Manik and other members of the family are called at the hall for an important discussion. So, everyone is gathered and Raj n Nyo came to announce the news.

"Dad, U called all of us? Anything important?" Mukti asked.

"Yes Mukti! It's very important." Raj paused and looked at Manik "About Manik's life"

Everyone got attentive n curious and Manik got the idea that it's must be his marriage topic.

"What happened Dad? Any problem?" Cabir asked concerned and turned to Manik "Manik?"

"We've arranged Manik's marriage" Raj declared before anyone could ask more. All of them went shocked except Raj, Nyo n Manik who knew.

"Manik's marriage with Nandini" Raj added like a second shock to them.

"What? Nandu?" Cabir asked puzzled looking at his parents and then at Manik questionably.

"But Nini toh abhi college main hai" Navya complains knowing Nandini's dream of completing studies and earning her livings before thinking about love n marriage.

"We know. But it's her Dad's last wish and our responsibility" Nyonika replied making everyone confused. Then Raj-Nyo explained about Nandu's Dad being Raj's saviour twice and his wish to take care of his princess, and how's Nandu's stepmom, how she's struggling, and everything.

"So we decided to get her here and take good care of her" Nyo completed which all heard attentively.

"We understand, Dad. We could just bring her here or finance her so that she'll live a good life ahead.
But Why suddenly Marriage? And Manik's?" Dhruv asked thinking about Manik's problem.

"I got ur point. But I can't leave her with her money-minded selfish stepmom and lusty stepbrother. And what will society talk if we keep a grown-up girl in our house?
So, I want to bring her to our house as my daughter-in-law. For that one of my son have to marry him. Will u marry her, Dhruv?" Raj explained.

"No Dad. u know I love Alya for a long time and I'll marry her only." Dhruv answered panicking.

"We know Dhruv. That's why we choose Manik for Nandini. I'm sure, we did the right choice." Nyo chuckled and said.

"Mujhe woh bacchi kafi pyaari lagi. Humari Manik ke liye perfect hai!" Dadi muttered smiling.

"Thik hai! Jaissa apko thik lage Dad." Cabir said and turned to Manik "Manik, Nandu meri Behen jaissi hai, dare u mess with her"

Manik gave him an 'I'll-see' look.

"Okay then! Get ready for the Manik's wedding today evening" Raj finally declared the shocking.

"What? Today? Evening?" Manik's eyes r wide in shock.

"Yes! I want to bring her as soon as possible. So, everything is done. Marriage will be held in the temple with only family members so that it won't affect her college life n further studies." Raj said and left with others leaving Cavya n Manik in the hall.

"Navya, u go to Nandu. I'll come after a while." Cabir eye-talked with Navya who left the mansion after nodding.

"What's going on, Manik?" Cabir asked putting his hand on Manik's shoulders.

"What's going on?" Manik repeated quizically turning his neck to Cabir.

"I'm asking What's between u & Nandini?... And don't tell me it's nothing becoz I've seen it!"

"What have u seen?" Manik drew himself away from Cabir while thinking of the possibilities of Cabir's answer.

"Yahi... jo tum dono ke beech me hai" Cabir replied observing Manik's expression.

"Kuch nahi hai humare beech, Cabir. It's Dad's decision to get us married n I'm obeying due to Dad's promise n his health. Bass!" Manik declared.

"Means What, Manik? Do u know what's marriage is? It's spending your whole life with one girl and sharing ur happiness and sadness with her. Are u ready to do that?" Cabir questions looking at him.

"I'm not... Not now. u know that. But I can't disagree too." Manik answered honestly looking down. Cabir sighed.

"Ur wife has the right to know what u r going through! Think about it!" Cabir patted his back n walked out leaving Manik in deep thoughts. He knew that Cabir's right. But he's not ready to face it. He's frustrated and all this is messing his mind more!

"Damn!" He ran his fingers through hairs and left for his penthouse.

At the temple, at night

There present Raj, Nyo, Dadi, Mukti, Abhi, Cabir, Navya, Dhruv n Alya from Malhotra family, and Salini n Maddy from Murty family, and two Pandits(priests). The Sacred fire is burning and priests are chanting the mantras. The dressed-up groom is sitting beside an empty space and waiting for his bride.

Soon the bride looking beautiful in complete red and decorated with not-so-expensive but blessed jewelry of her late Ammi(mother)... came and sit beside Manik not looking at him. But Manik's breath is stuck once his eyes fell on his soon-to-be ethereal wife.

The couple gets up for Phere. Then ends of their dupattas are tied in a knot and they encircle the sacred fire seven times.  After the completion of the Phere, Manik made her wear the Mangalsutra and fills Nandini's hairline parting with vermillion(sindoor).

A pinch of Sindoor falls on her nose tip, indicating a good-luck when Manik notices Nandini's eyes brim with tears and she's only looking down controlling it.

'I guess, U don't want this marriage to happen' Manik thought to himself and turn his neck not liking her tears.

"Vivah Sampanna Hua... Aaj se aap dono pati-patni hue! Aab aap bado ke ashirbaad liziye" The Pandit finally announced. Manik stood up while Nandini sniffed and controlled her tears trying to get up with her heavy Lehenga.

Suddenly a hand came in her view and she finally looked up to her Manik, her husband, bending n offering her a hand of help. She lightly n hesitantly puts her hand n Manik helped her got up.

They made their way to Dadi and both bends down touching her feet. Dadi placed her hands on both their heads "Kinni Soni Jodi banai Waheguru ni, sada juug-juug jiyo."

Then they walked to Raj and about to bend when he stops them and first hug Nandini in a fatherly hug "I'm so happy to gain a daughter like u. Much happiness to you." Nandini smiled faintly remembering his Appa.

Raj then hugged Manik n patted his back "Treat my daughter well or else u'll be out of my family" he threatened him like a possessive father while Manik nodded silently in jealously while his siblings chuckled.

Then Manan walked to Nyo and she too hugged them together and blessed "Today, we add one more member to our family, and we couldn't be more happier. Best wishes to you both." She kissed Manik's and Nandu's forehead one by one making them smile.

Then they walked towards Cavya, Mukbhi, and Dhrulya who smiled warmly. Navya pulled Nandu in a tight hug "It seems like yesterday we were playing 'house' in our backyard, and now you get to do it in real life. I'm always there with u, Nini. Stay happy"

Mukti n Alya too came forward to hug Nandu "Welcome to our family, Nandini. I've always wanted a sister to accompany me amidst these over-protective brothers of mine, and now I've Navya and you and soon Alya will join our team" Mukti made Nandu and others laugh and Manik got thankful to see her laugh after a long time.

"Oye! Hain hai hum Over-protective brothers and hamesha rahenge! And now Nandini too joins ur team. So, Nandu, U always have me. Whenever you've any problem, just think about me and I'll appear in front of u, Okay?" Cabir worded making Nandu nod with a chuckle.

Then finally they walked to Salini who' shedding fake tears in her-so-called-daughter's bidaai. She pulled Nandu in a hug and patted her back and the turn to Manik "I'm glad that U've married my Nandu. I'm sure u'll take care fo her and her family's needs. Thank u beta!"

Nandu clearly got her money-minded meaning behind her sweet words while Manik just smiled and they walked to Maddy who's checking out every beautiful ladies present over there.

To show his love, he suddenly pulled Nandini in a hug making her uncomfortable. Manik noticed Nandu's uncomfortable body language and pulled her out of the hug and hugged Maddy tightly himself.

At first, Maddy was surprised by the sudden act but then wrap his hands in a formal hug and wished him "Congratulations on your marriage!"

Then soon they drive back to their destination and Nandini's new house, Malhotra Mansion!

So, Finally Manan ki Shaadi ho gayi!
