It was Sunday and Neil wanted to just relax at home and spend some quality time with his wife but it didn't happen. Mithali asked him to take her to the hospital for her check up. Mithali wanted to be alone with Neil so she came with this idea. Neil reluctantly had to go with her.

Neil and Mithali were coming from the hospital. Mithali's plan didn't go as she had imagined. While they were on their way to the hospital, Neil got a call related to his business. He got busy with it and the call ended just before 2 minutes away from the hospital. Mithali was so pissed that she didn't get a chance to have a conversation with him.

At the hospital Neil didn't come inside with her and said he will wait in the car which pissed her more. She went inside the hospital alone and came after 10 minutes without meeting her paid doctor.

When she came back and sat inside the car Neil was again in a call but this time it was Avni.

Mithali in mind - oh God, can't she leave Neil alone for an hour ? We are in one car but we have not had a normal conversation yet. He was always busy in his damn phone.

Neil - which flavor ?

Mithali in mind - what are they talking about ?

Avni - chocolate ( licking her lips )

Neil - okay, I'll bring chocolate ice cream for you.

Mithali in mind - ice cream... I thought... forget it....

Neil ended the call and started driving the car.

Mithali - Neil, don't mind but is not Avni is a little childish kind of girl ?

Neil didn't like the way she talked about his wife. Who is she to talk and comment on his wife ?

Neil used to dislike Avni's childish and immature nature but he had realized that it's her innocence, which is very rare in this world. She is different from others. She is special. Special for him. He was ashamed that he wanted to change her but not anymore. He still thinks she should be a little more mature so others can't take advantage of her but with time she will understand everything. He does not want to change her forcefully.

Neil - she is a little childish because she has a pure heart like a child. She is a kind, caring and positive person and that's her best quality. ( he smiles thinking about her )

Mithali didn't like his answer. She didn't want to hear Avni's praise from him. She changed the topic and started talking about their project.

      Avni was playing with Mickey in their bedroom. She noticed that his hair has grown very long. She picked him and caressed his fur softly.

Avni - Miku, you need a hair cut.

Mickey just looked at her wagging his tail.

Avni - I'll ask Neil about it.

Neil - what you want ask me ?

Avni jumped a little when she suddenly hear Neil's voice. She sighed when she saw him entering in the room.

Avni - Neil, you scared me. ( pouts )

Neil chuckled and sat beside her.

Neil - aww...my wifey got scared ?

He said cutely pinching her cheeks. Avni shrunken her nose and pushed his hands away.

Avni - where is my ice cream?

Neil - in the fridge but first tell me what you wanted to ask me ?

Avni - Mickey need a hair cut so can we take him for grooming today please ?

Neil - Avni not today please. Today I want to just relax at home in our room on the bed with you only.

Avni - but Neil look at his hair

Neil looked at Mickey. His hair was really long but Neil thought Mickey can adjust a few days.

Mickey barked at Neil when he found him staring at him. Neil shook his head and looked at Avni.

Neil - Avni I..

Avni - Neil please

She made a puppy face and looked at him with pleading eyes. Mickey being a good boy imitated Avni and give the same look to Neil.

Neil sighed and shook his head. He can't regist those cute faces.

Neil - fine, we are going.

Avni screamed with joy and jumped on Neil. She thanked him and kissed on his cheek. Mickey followed her path and started licking Neil's face.

Neil - you don't have to copy her every move, Mickey.

Avni giggled and separated Mickey from Neil's face.

      Avneil reached at the pet grooming parlor with Mickey. Avni was excited for Mickey's new look, Neil was not interested and Mickey was clueless.

     Avni was happy seeing so many puppies there. She was a dog lover since her childhood and it was no less than heaven for her.

Avni - awww...itne sare cute puppies.. I can't handle this

Neil - I can't handle this too

        Neil whispered and his meaning was completely different from Avni's. Neil never liked dogs and very much afraid of the big grown-up dogs. Mickey was a different matter for him. Initially he didn't like Mickey also but with time and because of Avni, he started liking him and now he is a family member. But the fear of dogs are still there.

     Mickey was in Neil's arms and looking everywhere curiously.

Neil - Agar mujhpe kisi kutte ne attack kia toh tu mujhe bachayega samjha

    Neil said to Mickey with very much seriousness. Mickey barked in response.

Neil - good boy. You are my bodyguard for today.

       While Neil was busy with Mickey, Avni was playing with another cute puppy.

Avni - aww.... you are so cute...what's your name baby

       Avni's voice caught Mickey's attention. Mickey saw her playing with another puppy and he didn't like that. He barked for Avni's attention but she was engrossed in playing with that puppy.

" his name is Max " said the puppy owner.

Avni - hello Max

     Max shakes his hand with Avni. He was a well trained puppy and Avni was impressed by him. She praised and petted him.

      Mickey saw that and immediately jumped from Neil's arms and ran to Avni. He started barking at Max to back off. He didn't want to share Avni with any other puppy.

     Mickey was Avni's puppy and Avni was Mickey's human. That's it.

      Max was equal in size as Mickey but he got scared of Mickey seeing him barking at him aggressively and hid behind his owner.

Avni - what happened Miku ?

     Avni picked him up and petted him to calm him down but he was still glaring at Max. Avni was surprised by his aggressive behavior. He was a very friendly puppy and doesn't even bark at others without any reason.

Neil - he is jealous I guess 

     Neil was amazed by his behavior but he knew the feeling, so he could understand.

Avni - aww....Miku, don't be jealous baby,  I only love you

Neil in mind - aur mera kya ?

      Avni showers Mickey with kisses and hugs. Mickey too shows his love for her by licking her face.

   This time a human was jealous and glaring at the innocent puppy.

Neil - Avni hamara turn aagaya hai chalo jaldi

Avni - oh han.....be a good boy, Miku

      Avni gave Mickey to the groomer. Mickey didn't want to leave Avni but he had no other option. The groomer tied him with a belt so he couldn't run away and remained on the table.

     Mickey barked for Avni to pick him.

Avni - Mickey, I'm here with you.

       The groomer combed his fur first which Mickey didn't protest as he liked it when Avni combs him at home but he got scared when the groomer started the trimmer.

Neil - relax Mickey bas tera mundan hoga aur kuch nehi 

Avni - mundan ?

Neil - hair cut

Avni - oh...Mickey daro mat I'm here with you

      After a lot of encouragement from Avni, Mickey started to cooperate with the groomer and let him cut his fur.

     The groomer handled Mickey very well . He trimmed his fur gently and without hurting him. Then he took Mickey for a bath. Mickey likes to bath so he quite enjoyed it. After bath the groomer blow dried his fur and Mickey was all done.

Avni - you did so well, Mickey. I'm proud of you. Now let's go and get you some treats.

      Avneil took Mickey to a pet store to buy him some toys and treats. Avni left Mickey with Neil in the toy section and went to get treats for Mickey.

Neil - teri bhi kya life hai Mickey

    Mickey just stared at him.

Neil - aur nehi toh kya 24 ghante main se 12 ghante toh Avni bas tere saath khelti rehti hai aur jab Sunday ko main ghar main hota hun aur uske saath time spent karna chahata hun toh wo tujhe grooming ke liye le aati hai

      Mickey gave him a doggie grin and wagged his tail happily.

Neil - zyada khus hone ki zaroot nehi hai Mickey main Avni ko honeymoon pe leke jane ke bare main soch raha hun aur tujhe toh yehin chhod ke jaunga

      Mickey barked at him but it sounds different. It sounded like a grown-up dog's bark.  Neil again heard a bark but Mickey didn't even open his mouth. Neil looked around to find who it was and saw a big dog was staring at him. Neil swallowed his own saliva and started moving backward in fear till his back touched the toy shelf. He didn't have a way to escape from there.  He was stuck there with Mickey.

Neil - Mickey bacha mujhe iss kutte se

    He whispered to Mickey and tried to put him on the floor but Mickey wasn't ready to leave him.

Neil - asa kya kar raha hai Mickey dekh main Avni ka pati hun aur agar mujhe kuch ho gaya toh Avni ka kya hog

    Mickey didn't listen to him and held Neil's arms more tightly.

Neil - achha thik hai tujhe main hamari honeymoon pe bhi leke jaunga ok bas ab ja aur use bhaga yahan se

    This time Neil put Mickey on the floor by anyhow and was very much confident that Mickey will save him from that dog but he was wrong. Mickey ran back to Mickey and hide behind his legs. He was more scared than Neil.

Neil - kesa darpok doggie hai tu Mickey. Kutta hoke ek Kutte se darta hai. Tune toh naak katadi meri.

       Mickey likes to play with other puppies but he was also scared of big dogs.

Avni - Neil toys le liye ?

      Avni was confused to see Neil  standing like a statue with a horrified expression.

Avni - what happened and where is Mickey ?

     Hearing Avni's voice Mickey peeked from behind Neil's legs.

Avni - why you both are so scared ?

    Neil just signaled her to look at the dog that was sitting between them.

Avni - you both are scared of this doggy ?

   Neil nodes. Avni shakes her head in disbelieve.

     She came near the dog and started to pet him without hesitation.

Neil - Avni stay away that dog looks dangerous

Avni - dogs are cute,  not dangerous

        
            That dog started wagging his tail and leaned closer to Avni. Avni smiled at him. After a few moment that dog's owner came searching for him and took him with him.

          Neil sighed in releaf and Mickey ran to Avni.

Avni - tum dogs se darte ho

Neil - mujhe kya bol rehi ho Mickey ko bolo wo toh kutta hoke kutte se darta hai

Avni - kyun ki wo abhi chhota hai bada ho jayega toh nehi darega, hai na Mickey ?

   Mickey barked in response.

Avni - see,I told you. My Miku is very brave.

Neil - Whatever, let's go from here first.

       Avneil buy whatever Mickey needed and wanted and then went back to home.
