"Cause we don't need permission to dance!" Namjoon bopped his head, skipping on the street while Jimin hid under his hoodie, embarrassed of what he was doing.

"Hyung, you're dancing in the middle of the road," Jimin whisper shouted, pulling the edge of his shirt, making sure that he got his attention.

"Let this old man be happy for a while. This is the first time I've seen you accept to live with someone. I see something bloom,"he sniffed the air, making his lips into a thin line.

"Hyung, it's just for work and nothing else. I barely know him," Jimin rasped out, his voice barely audible.

"You'll know everything about him soon. At least he got a chance," Namjoon chuckled under his breath, patting Jimin's back.

"Hyung, you're probably thinking it's love between us, right? Nah, that wouldn't ever happen. I love only myself," Jimin muttered under his breath, walking faster.

"Slow down, chim. Don't be embarrassed about all this. Look, I won't mock you further. It's just that I'm happy that you're opening up to someone after almost twenty years," Namjoon had a soft smile of appreciation on his face.

"It's just work... And having a friend is not bad," Jimin reciprocated the same smile back.

"See! I told ya that you were changing. You're a light hearted boy chim, but people often assume you as cold hearted. I just hope at least Jungkook sees how good you are. Who knows... Something might probably happen," Namjoon winked, his dimpled smile emanating happiness. The overnight's rain had left sodden puddles of water on the pathway, but the bad annotation could not deter Namjoon from being the happy man he was.

"What are you implying, hyung?" Jimin questioned, even after knowing what it was.

"Oh, you know it well. Don't try to act stupid. Now, before we go, did you take all your things?" Namjoon queried, carrying Jimin's suitcase. They had arrived at Jungkook's place, which was apparently a compact apartment meant for two of them.

"Of course, hyung. I double checked it," Jimin sighed.

"Your tablets?"

"Yes, hyung,"

"Your dance clothes?"

"Yes, hyung,"

"Your suits?"

"Yes, hyung,"

"Your cuteness?"

"Ye- what?"

"Just kidding," Namjoon chuckled while Jimin stood with a grumpy glare on this face. "Now, before we go, let me remind you with some things. You should not loiter around on your own. If you want anything, then I'm just a call away. Most importantly, don't annoy him."

"These are the things you should be telling to him," Jimin sighed deeply, narrowing his brows at the older.

"But you should also follow them, chim. You know how important this job-"

"I know, hyung. You needn't remind me twice." Jimin smiled softly at Namjoon, carrying his luggage.

After an endless futile altercation where Jungkook seemingly wanted Jimin to stay with him, and after Jimin had disagreed almost a thousand times, with a mixture of warnings and tears, Jimin finally accpeted to stay with Jungkook for a span of fourteen days before he could get the painting done.

It was under complete hesitation that Jimin had agreed to live with Jungkook, and even then, it was just for job purposes and nothing else.

Namjoon knocked on the apartment door, his feet tapping being the only thing heard. After a few minutes, the door opened, revealing a sleepy Jungkook.

His eyes were puffy, with his hair ruffled and a loose shirt adorned his muscular body, with black shorts adorning the lower half. Jimin could not help but admire the proportions of the body he once wished to have.

Jungkook, without any further ado, welcomed Jimin and Namjoon who entered the room without much hesitation. An aura of homeliness hit the duo who walked into the compact apartment.

There were intricate artworks hung on the wall, with most of them being inspired by famous artists like picasso. The entire room was tainted in a deep shade of grey, with most of the areas being black yet giving of tranquility.

"Make yourself comfortable. I'll get you guys something," Jungkook said, hurrying towards the kitchen.

"No, that's not necessary. I'll be moving back within a few minutes. I just entered the house to have a small talk," Namjoon said, admiring the interior of the room.

"This is a nice apartment you got. Were all the paintings done my you?' Jimin questioned, immediately fascinated by the world he entered in.

"Hmm," Jungkook hummed in reply, "I had many more too, but since they were taking up too much space, I had to shift them to a better place,"

"By better place, you mean?" Namjoon raised his eyebrows.

"To the attic, obviously. Most of the paintings were not good anyway," Jungkook sighed.

"What are all your paintings about?" Jimin questioned, noticing a pattern followed in ever single one of them.

"I don't quite follow a particular pattern," Jungkook chuckled nervously.

"No, I can see that. Every painting has a tear drop; more specifically, a red one. Why?" Jimin narrowed his eyes, discreetly observing the painting.

"That's probably because it has kinda become my watermark. It's nothing more than that, don't worry," Jungkook looked away, droplets of sweat accumulating on his forehead.

"You told me that you wanted to talk to me about something?" Jungkook changed the subject, locking eyes with Namjoon who was slightly smirking.

"Well, there are some things you should know since you're going to live with Jimin. First of all, he hates banana milk. Second, he wakes up everyday at five and dances for a while before eating breakfast and following the same routine again. He doesn't like nuts in any of his dishes. His diet needs to be low in carbohydrates. He doesn't like sound-"

"Hyung!" Jimin widened his eyes, "Why are you telling him my whole profile? I'll manage."

"No, chim, I just want to let him know. It's your first time here and he might not know some things," Namjoon smiled softly at Jimin, ruffling his hair.

"Don't worry, I'll take care of him," Jungkook nodded his head with complete determination.

"I can take care of myself, thank you," Jimin's voice came out colder than he had expected.

"Ok, so I'll get going," Namjoon got up from where he was seated, trying to suppress the tension which was rising up in the room.

"Bye, hyung and please come to pick me up on time," Jimin smiled at Namjoon, waving his hands.

"Of course. I wouldn't forget that. Bye, chim. Bye Jungkook! Take care of him well," Namjoon exited through the door, his coat hanging from his shoulders. It was then Jimin felt alienated.

He felt a surge of loneliness; a desiring solitudinal serenity, but he didn't want to be encompassed in it again. A voice in him encouraged him to be more social; talk with people; and more specifically Jungkook. Contradictions were running through his head, and Jimin felt highly conflicted.

"I'll go get some sleep." Jimin walked into a random room, shutting the door loudly, wherein Jungkook stood at the same place, looking at the paintings.

The paintings had a red tear drop in it because they symbolised something.

It symbolised a sinner.
